Absolutely gorgeous venue with incredible food and service, which easily became my fiancee's and my favourite place to go. We honestly went at least once a week, we loved it so much. It has not functioned as a bar and bistro in over 2 years and we have been holding out hope that it would re-open again.

Came in for lunch : decent selection of beers and had beef and Guinness pie with mash which was sensational, beef tender and tasty, real creamy mash and flavoursome gravy. Knockout. Staff very friendly too and pleasant shady outdoor area. Some great pubs in the hills.

Awesome, love it! Beyond exceptional customer service, extremely friendly and helpful, the staff member who served us was extremely knowledgeable - thanks for bringing the ice out to us. Chicken parmi was deeelicious was good to have a different taste to the other pubs around. The aioli sauce. Wow. Yum. Scallops were absolutely devine, and the squid was the best I have had in years! Was extremely satisfied with the crispiness, yum. Very happy customers will definitely be back for more.

Food was terrible We had 3 starters and two mains served all at the same time, the fish was questionable and the service was absolutely brutal. The place looks like it’s run by kids. Strongly avoid

Quite disappointed. Beautiful location and atmosphere but the Food was not it, chilli mussels were flavourless and the salt and pepper squid was so dry. Pork belly was just covered in franks hot sauce. If you want good food, go anywhere else in the hills. Not worth the price. 80% of meals sent back. Also looking at everyone’s else plates, didn’t seem like anyone had finished their food either.

As promised!! We had a bench outside for 8 of us.. Outdoor bar, friendly staff! The boss was even behind the bar! Loved having a chat, and had their special - Thai Green Curry. Soooo good. I'd definitely be back there.. With more friends in tow!

Sunday lunch with friends. Mahogany Inn just opened after being closed for a long period post COVID. Soft opening so certain items not available yet, and staff in need of training and experience. Some refurbishment has created a nice environment. Food was good, so should become a good local option with a few more weeks under their belt. Grand opening to follow.

We stayed here for one night and found it completely brilliant. The accommodation was excellent. Cosy, gorgeous room with a terrace. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The Inn itself served excellent food and whilst it was busy, the service was good. The food on the children's menu was exceptional. 👏 We enjoyed the location and the opportunity to be outdoors and away from the city. I would absolutely stay here again.

Just wanted to say thank you to the lovely waitress who when we rocked up at 7:40, told us that the kitchen closed at 8:00 was happy for us to stay. We ordered quickly and upon her recommendation my husband had the Butter chicken Curry and I had fish and chips, amazingly our meals were with us 10 minutes later, awesome! Fabulous dinner, friendly staff - very happy, we’ll be back.

CLOSED INDEFINITELY. I found out this place is closed indefinitely after using my credit card to book a room on a travel app. The phone number goes to a recorded message. One star for travel apps, not the Inn itself - I hope the Inn reopens, along with the restaurant.

So sad to see a historic place that offered good food, drinks and accommodation go to waste like this. Guess a anonymous checkin style airb&b is all the go these days.

As with all restaurants, quality seems to depend on who's in the kitchen on the day. First time we went the lunch was fresh ,fantastic and beautifully presented. Went again yesterday and I think we got the recooked and burnt leftovers from the day before. Exactly the same order but no comparison. Consistency and freshness is EVERYTHING with food. Won't risk my money there again.. Can't anyone get it consistently right?

Booked and paid online, for one night, as my preferred accommodation was booked for that particular night. Then I was informed, by a text message, that the bar & restaurant are closed! No wonder I was informed AFTER I paid as I would not have stayed otherwise. The meaning of "Inn" is "a house providing accommodation, food, and drink, especially for travellers." Fat Chance!

Enjoyed a magnificent 3 course lunch on Saturday and the food was amazing. 3 choices for entree, mains and dessert Staff were obliging and courteous and efficient. There were 23 people in our party celebrating our club's annual dinner and would thoroughly recommend a visit to Inn Mahogany, A big thank you to all staff, including the kitchen staff for preparing and presenting top quality meals.

"Beautiful and extremely delicious". Lovely garden and indoor restaurant to sit back and relax by a trickling fountain or a warm fire. The food was amazing, every time I've dined there I've been pleasantly surprised. All food with a twist of gourmet, so delicious we overeat every time. It's been a perfect place for my family to come together and feast as well as a romantic and private experience for those special moments. Loved it. Loved the service. Only way to improve would be complimentary chocolates :)

Went today for a casual late lunch. Had the chicken gai yang, loved it so much I had to write a review. Excellent flavour and perfectly cooked. I have been several times (I'm a local) and the food never disappoints. Beautiful location, the gardens are amazing and great service.

Pleasant surprise stay st the Inn. Rooms are modern and very spacious. They are all newly renovated with beautiful bathrooms. Unfortunately cafe and restaurant are currently closed, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

We managed to score a table on a Sunday without booking and had a very pleasant time. The duck pate is delicious!

The restaurant here is pretty good. We like to sit outside with a beer and have lunch here now and then. Have never been dissapointed. They catered well for kids when we took them there once too which was good.

Such a beautiful spot. Sitting in the outdoor area shaded by the magnificent tall trees you could be forgiven for not wanting to leave! On our visit we had the dessert special arancini balls which were delightful. Wanted to eat a lot more but the main meals we had were taking up a lot of room...

Visiting Perth Hills area, we found the Mahogany Inn online, and the handy location an good reviews helped us make the decision to book here, and we've had absolutely no regrets. The in is located of the Hwy in Mundaring checking in was a breeze with friendly and helpful staff. The corridors and courtyards gave a sense of a different era. We were impressed with the massive rooms with high ceilings and modern bathroom. The sleep was good with the bed if anything a little too soft for me, but my wife liked it. The shower was a bit fiddley with the temperature as well. We also had a very scrumptious dinner in the inn, and would highly recommend the food there. Overall a great stay and definitely be coming back.
