Sincerely, the STAFF... I would hire any and all of them if I could, but then it wouldn't be BOLT ⚡!! The coffee IS TO DIE FOR. The establishment is fun and casual. GO HERE PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏 AND THANKS AGAIN 💓

Wasn't much food left to choose from at 11am on a Sunday morning. It's more of a sandwich press type venue, no kitchen for cooking other type of foods. Coffee was nice, service was good. Seemed to be popular, lots of people coming and going. I liked the rustic vibe of the venue.

Great vibes and even better coffee. The last cafe worth visiting in Midland.

Food is nice enough and so is the coffee. Staff are nice. Now to the not nice stuff. The general competency behind the counter makes me want to jump the bench top and take over from them. I have been going there on the weekend for a couple weeks now and so far they haven’t got an order right without burning the food. The wait time is terrible and watching the staff feels like time has slowed down. Very frustrating and I wouldn’t recommend this painful experience to my worst enemy.

Some of the bean blends from Bolt are the tastiest I've ever had. With a huge range of flavours and strengths, there is certain to be a blend that even the fussiest coffee connoisseur will love. Always bringing out different limited edition blends that are exciting to try. Personally Blue and Cream are my favourites for a medium strength coffee, and the Three Amigos for a slightly stronger one. Cool little Cafe hidden off the main road through Midland. Nice place to lounge about with a coffee and some friends.

Was recommended to try Bolt Coffee and has become my new fav spot. It’s probably the best coffee I’ve had. The team there are always friendly and the place itself is cosy with repurposed furniture - sustainable, love! You can also purchase their beans too, which I’ll definitely do on my next trip. 👍🏽

Unassuming coffee shop and roaster that serves bold and beautiful coffee! Worth a visit if you happen to be in the vicinity. The entrance is not quite visible from the main road, unless it is from the small Byers rd behind the building.

Excellent coffee and a tasty croissant. Great ambience with good music. Professional Barista providing perfect service. (Plenty of comfy seating options). Interesting display of old vinyl records for sale too.The Cafe is hidden down a lane just behind Rivers clothing store in Midland. A few hundred metres from Subway and the Cheese Shop. Easy free parking right outside the entrance.

Another place to drink Bolt coffee. Wait! This place offers 8 varieties of coffee beans to meet the taste of the customers. The characteristic of the old country building and the country home feeling is showcased here. I got my Latte brewed from '3 Amigos' ground coffee. It was strong in aroma, bitter and acidic. I would go for two shots in future with lots of milk to smile at myself. You may find your desire coffee beans here or by mixing them up to get your dream coffee eh would you? Cheers!

Just visited this place after seeing the sign on Morrison for a while. It’s so special! I enjoyed a delicious oat cap and almond croissant while sitting under the lovely tree outside. Friendly staff and an unpretentious vibe. A local gem!

Been here twice now, while visiting town for work. Coffee isn’t too bad. Had the BBB Bagel and it was so yum. Would definitely reorder that. Service is efficient and the cafe has a cool industrial aesthetic.

After multiple visits this has to be one of the best coffee shops I've experienced in Perth. Starting with the layout. Nestled away just off the main road with easy access and parking. Walking into a well set out shop that welcomes adults and children. With more than enough space for multiple family's and you don't have to worry about being ontop of each other and a kids corner to keep the kids entertained. Staff... well I can say I have never meet a more friendly, welcoming, enthusiastic and informative bunch of people. Who take the time to walk through their range and make sure that their coffee and food hit your taste buds and leave with the best experience you could have had. Service is second to none. The wide range of coffee is brilliant. My partner and I enjoy going in store to see their latest and greatest range and always laugh with the quirky names they have chosen to represent the range.

I recently attended a wedding at this venue. There was such a relaxed vibe. Food was great but the best thing was their coffee 👍 thanks Steve!! one of the best coffees I have ever had! Next time I'm in Perth, I will come for another brew ☕ And the musician (Ari)was excellent too.

This place not only does the best coffee in Perth, made by the friendliest and most helpful staff, but it also has a great range of quality Roasted Coffee beans for your home machine, that will suit a wide array of discerning tastes. Steve's artisan blends of roasted beans are all stunning, and the proof of that, is brought to fruition by talented and skillful Baristas who always provide you with the perfect coffee. There's a small range of cakes, bagels, toasties, wraps, croissants, and pastries to choose from and the range of cold brews and drinks for the warmer seasons is fabulous. It has a rather unique 'industrial' environment that is both welcoming and comfortable, in a converted warehouse unit tucked away at the back of a shop and well away from the road. Plenty of free parking available and you can choose from comfortable sofas and chairs, or sitting at plenty of small tables inside, or relaxing by the assorted tables and chairs in shady areas around the perimeter of the building. If you swing by Bolt on a Saturday morning, you will often find a talented singer or two serenading you from a small stage near the door, making it a relaxing and entertaining way to start the weekend. There is also a selection of plants for sale in a shady corner out the back that also adds a nice soft green ambience to the place. Steve started this vision back in 2013, creating a friendly, unique place to disconnect from the rush of life, and reconnect with community, and I've been a regular ever since it was tucked away under the trees in Hazelmere. ( I think I should have bought shares!!!?) Hope to see you there. JD.

A very cool and industrial-themed cafe in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. We found excellent and friendly staff, delicious toasties and best coffee we have had on the trip so far. Not many tables so it could get crowded. There's a small but fun corner for kids with toys so that they are kept occupied while their parents enjoy their cuppa. A pretty wide range of whole coffee beans for sale too!

Good coffee, but dirty stained cutlery means we only get takeaway. Some would call the setting bo-ho we would call cluttered and a bit dirty.

  • 3/5 Marek 1 year ago on Google
The new location is bomb!!! No more mud!! Coffee Crack, Vice, and Blue is my favorite wish they did coffee tasting if you asked or run a shot for your takeaway. I'm happy to pay. But I get a lame excuse.... surely you could get a single dose hopper. I have one at home ! Sometimes, the girls burn the milk or coffee shot I'd expect from someone who's learning, but after pulling thousands of shots, I expect better. This one time Blue was completely badly roasted, I told them it's not as per recipe as I know we have been buying a kilo a week for years dating back to the tin shed in mud. Got no sympathy. That was a kick in the gut

Hmmm... Nothing like advertised. Smelt like sweaty fat person. I don't know if they've spilt milk and not cleaned it properly but I had to leave. Totally disappointed, thought I was going to a coffee roasters for a real coffee... Nothing of the sort... .

What a wonderful experience. Querky old mixed with new charm. I definitely encourage you to visit this hidden gem. There is the WOOLOOMOOLOO stage for any one who has time to go and play your music. There are couches and tablets inside and out. Well behaved dogs allowed only . Ten out of ten for this little gem.

Great coffee, friendly staff and a relaxed and comfortable warehouse-style cafe with good music. Worth coming back to for every cup of joe! The cold brew is lethal (and highly delicious), drink at your own risk.
