Staff were friendly and polite. Indoor seating and outdoor seating on balcony overlooking a panoramic beach front view. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Very fresh produce too. Compliments to your chef. Looking forward to visiting again

Absolute horrible experience today. My friend had a booking for her birthday and there was apparently some miscommunication, but they did not handle the situation professionally or kindly. We had also ordered coffees and they took forever and as you can see in the photo, clearly served old coffee shots and just topped it up with burnt milk. Super disappointed in the service as the food menu looked nice.

Such a good bar from the amazing location and views to the welcoming first class service. I love spending happy hour here having a cold pint relaxing watching the surreal sunsets soaking up the easy going friendly atmosphere.

We did the Sunday Brunch. You have a choice of one pretty standard dish and all you can drink wine, beer, or one choice of a Spritz. There is only one white, rose, sparkling, or shiraz. Food choices and drink choices are definitely limited. Only 2 people working so a bit of a serve yourself atmosphere. We had fun though with the nice view.

Went on Anzac Day, service was friendly & swift. Food was quite pleasant & enjoyable. To the kitchen staff, please make sure the fruit labels are taken off the lemon before being cut & served to customers. One star was taken off as a couple of cocktails, rosé & food was unavailable when we tried to order it. Might be because they had a busy weekend? Otherwise, venue was very nice & we sat on the balcony on a sunny day with the ocean view. Can’t ask for more!

We came here on a quiet weekday and got a great seat out on the balcony. Drinks were cold, food was good (new menu) and the staff were attentive. It gets very busy on the weekend and anytime the sun is out so be prepared. But overall a nice clean place for lunch.

It's a relaxing and chic bar near the beach. An awesome place to have lunch with friends after a walk or surfing. Staff are super nice and helpful. My phone is dead. the staff borrowed me their adapter. Amazing food and service! The view is wonderful as in most bars and restaurants on the beach. love it

Perfect spot to watch the sunset. I came for dinner on a quiet Monday night, was greeted by friendly staff. Time between ordering to food turnaround time was not long at all. Contactless ordering and payment option is good. The seafood linguine was great and generous, with plenty of prawns and crayfish! The spritz I ordered was also really delicious and refreshing. Would be a great place for some afternoon drinks on a warm day.

Scarborough beach bar is an excellent restaurant!! The staff are so lovely and really take the time to listen to you. They are fantastic at catering to all dietary requirements and they went above and beyond to find a suitable meal with making alterations to suit my dietary requirements. I cannot fault the restaurant or staff and I highly recommend dining at Scarborough beach bar! It was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back next time!

Best place in Scarborough for a catch up with friends or gathering events… everything you need: drinks, great sunset view, food and vibes!!! 3rd time this month after the first time I was there on a Brazilian night. They had traditional music and food, the view was incredible and I like that is not packed and not too loud as you can actually chat to people. Then we had friends over from NZ and took them there for sunset drinks, everyone loved it. And last night we got our team together there, once again, not disappointed! Service is great, Dani and Mari thank you for having us!!! I’ll be back soon

Fabulous cafe/restaurant with such a chilled vibe and warm positive service. The seafood is to die for we had the snapper, a bari-burger, lemon pepper fried squid and the fish'nchipsfirkiddies! Just sitting here on one of the most beautiful beaches with good food...for a while the world is a better place. Thank you

I've been to Brazilian night there and that was wonderful. I had a meat platter and yuca fries, both were delicious! The live music was contagious, so exciting. Please keep these specials! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and an amazing ocean view, I definitely recommend

This place is LOUD, so as a restaurant, it’s almost impossible to have a reasonable meal. The food is reasonably priced and ok, but honestly this is a bar for the younger set, and people looking for a nice meal would be better served looking elsewhere. Seemed to be a very lively bar though!

It is a pity that from the street-side you too easily don’t see how nice this location is when you are upstairs. It is in front of the beach and the atmosphere, drinks and view are marvelous. Especially when you are served by Marilina who gives you always the feeling that you are special 👍🏻👍🏽👍🏿

Couldn't speak highly enough about this place! Went for lunch today, the staff were all so lovely and attentive! Ordered the seafood platter for lunch, took a little while to come out (and even that wasn't too long a wait considering how busy they were!) so the staff brought us out a complimentary bowl of chips while we were waiting. The seafood platter was amazing, one of the best we have ever had and such good value for money! With amazing views to boot, this will be our go-to place in Scarborough every time now!

Ok...... let's get the elephant in the room out of the way....... This seems to be a place that always responds to customer feedback, but can be a love it, or loath it experience, so maybe a staff training around the 'Culture' and what is expected of everybody who works here, should get everybody on the same page around the Customer experience. Now..... having said that. We visited for the first time tonight and loved the quirky and fun entrance to the bar. Staff were friendly whilst doing the neccessary covid checks. We were 15 mins too early for happy hour, but that was ok, because we had not known about happy hour from 5pm to 6pm anyway. Good drink selection, although once again, as in the trendier pubs...... no dark ales or stout. The food menu looked pretty decent, but was too early for us to have dinner, so we opted for a bowl full of hot chips and a side of aoili. Nice, hot, crispy chips and lots of them for just $5 bucks. Hoping to have nice view from the balcony was what drew us to here and that was wonderful over the vibrant Scarborough foreshore and beach. Bumping into some friends topped off the visit beautifully and I can honestly say, our customer experience here tonight was 5 star. Thank you to the owners, managers and staff...... oh and to the DJ for some lit mixing.

A lovely meal of lobster linguine and choc brownie dessert. My eyes were definitely too big for my stomach, but I didn't regret it at all. With 2x SSB house wines. Order at bar but great service and friendly staff. A rainy day and a little chill next to windows but still lovely.

I ordered the pulled pork tacos about 6 months ago, they were TO DIE FOR, I went back this evening and sat for the same meal, while the bar service was on point the meal was not what I had expected to enjoy again. The sauce used in the pulled pork was different this time and was spicy and really not as enjoyable. Had to feed them to the hubby and order another meal.

Had brunch today with my friend and 2 kids. I had the seafood linguine which was so fresh and tasty. All the others had fish and chips which they said was really nice-even my 4 year old just about cleared the plate. Ice cream for the kids that they both said was delicious. The two servers (possibly french?) were so polite and welcoming. Toilets are really clean and fresh smelling. And fab view to top it all off. Will definitely be back

Staff were friendly, view was great but felt let down by the fish and chips. Too oily and just too much on the plate. Batter was big and cooked too long. Salad had too much dressing. Sorry, but for the price I would expect better.

I had the most delicious salad bowl made vegan and some tasty olives for dinner and my friend had the pizza. Great views, friendly and fast service. Will definitely be back for another visit

Great place to eat at; comes with an amazing view! Meals are prepped fresh yet timely. I enjoyed my stay with friends while watching the sunset. Schedule a visit and try it out yourself!

One of our favourite places. Food is always great, staff are friendly and the cocktails are fab! Highly recommend.
