Amazing Korean food. Probably one of the best venues to get Korean food in Perth. The food is authentic, affordable and well portioned. The restaurant space has quite a few seats but they are usually understaffed so there can be a bit of a wait for food. The wait is always worth it though! Of special note is their kimchi pancake and their stews which are best in class!! Pay a visit if you’re in the area!

I’m glad that Phill Bean is located close to where I’m staying as the food is absolutely amazing! Clean and healthy and it certainly fills you up. This is going to my all time favourite Korean restaurant in Perth. If you’re a fan of JaJeungMien (black bean noodles with ground meat), be sure to order this at Phill Bean. Make sure you get the soup as well, we’ve ordered pork bone soup and it tasted really refreshing and it warmed us up especially on a rainy day. In terms of drinks, be sure to order the Honey+red dates tea, it’ll definitely soothe your throat. In overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here, will be coming here again real soon!

맛있어요 Delicious korean restaurant patronised also by Koreans. We had bulgogi beef, seafood pancake and jajeongmyeon. The main n side dishes are good except the jajeongmyeon which is a little watery.

Oh, lucky am I? Served by a friendly and polite young lady who spoke with an Aussie accent. This restaurant started about 5 years ago. The dishes we ordered were Tokbokki, beef bibimbap, spicy squid, and kimchi pancake. The sauces for all dishes gave a balanced taste, not salty and not sweet. The flavours were just nice. All dishes were tasty. More like home cook type, and we didn't feel thirsty after the meal. By the way, the kimchi pancake is not the crispy type but a bit soft that may meet your choice. This restaurant is also suitable for family gathering. There are enough free car parking bays around the Shelly Hub. Cheers!

Came here for lunch on Sunday. It was a really packed time and I was glad that we made a reservation first. The service was great and quick given that it was full. Ordered a jajangmyeon and it was the best so far. The noodles were al-dente, not too soft nor too firm. There's also lots of pork and vege bits in the black bean sauce. The black bean sauce was rich and umami and the accompanying pickle worked well with it.

Had lunch with a friend at this Korean restaurant. Place was quite packed. Frequented by Koreans which is usually a good sign. Server was not exactly ecstatic to be at work. No smile and kept to himself at the till. Food was great. My Bibimbap and the spicy seafood soup were delicious. Japchae was just ok. Side dishes were given just like you would get Korean restaurant. Plenty of parking and it was a pleasant lunch overall.

Went in late on a Monday night (we arrived around 8.40pm and the kitchen was about to close even tho the closing time from Google was 9.30pm) we have been greeted from the friendly waitress and been told that she would squeeze us in, after having a look at the menu we were a bit disoriented but she was able to guide us through the selection of the dishes, we picked the vegetables bulgogi the beef short ribs and the egg and tofu soup, our favorite was the ribs, was sweet full of flavour and super tender, everything was delicious so we made sure to don't leave anything in the plates. The ambience is cute, really simple and functional, I believe it was some sort of dance school, it's one of the shop in a small neighbourhood shopping center, perfect for families and friends low budget dinner. The food was delicious well presented and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. 5 stars all the way Thanks.

It's my first time at Phil bean. My friend has been there many time. She recommended me to order set menu. We chose Jupiter set so you get 2 starters, 2 soup 1 sizzling and 1 noodle dish to share. It was good value for $25/person so you can try a bit of everything. My pork bone soup was delicious and the spicy pork bulgogi was yummy too. It was busy today lucky we got the table but I'd recommend for anyone to make a booking

Easily one of the best, most underrated hidden gems for Korean food in Perth. Delicious food and a menu that ventures past the go to dishes, makes this place very exciting. The set menu options are so fantastic.

Amazing spot. Sitting inside, enjoying the soup, it feels like I’m in Korea Bossam was lovely. Small serving but it was a nice starter. Spicy Pork Soup was amazing. Big bones though, so not a lot of meat, but the broth itself was delish, with just enough spiciness to keep you excited. Chuck some rice in there and you’re sorted! Also ordered the Galbi-jjim (beef ribs stew) and it was equally amazing. Slightly on the sweeter note but it was so enjoyable to eat and has lots of veggies to fill you up. The side dishes were nice too. We would’ve ordered the set menus as it’s such a good value, but it will probably be too much for us to eat. The place opens at 9.30am as per Google, which was great because it’s such a homey breakfast, perfect for this winter days. Already planning on our return soon! Update: On separate day I have ordered the Galbi Soup and that was really comforting too. Tobokki was great. Bibimbap was amazing!

Fresh ingredients, place can be abit squeezy for large tables/crowds especially when you're getting hotpot, overall great experience everyone loved the food. Only quim was they only gave us a serve of their kimchee and condiments for a group of 7 with 3 x 2 pax set meals.

Most authentic Korean restaurant in Perth. Amazing value and service. The place to go for temporary trip overseas as a meal.

Venue is tired but the food is okay. Had the spicy seafood / tofu soup which is slightly seafoody but very little actual seafood; my partner had the beef with sweet potato noodles and again the meat was there, somewhere, we think, but it tasted okay. With so many Korean options around Willetton we won't be rushing back.

Nice homemade style korean dishes. Only open for lunch though which can be a bit inconvenient but it's tasty food. Tteokbokki is a bit watered down but the soups are legit and the stirfrys hit the spot to satisfy my korean cravings.

We enjoyed the food and service was pleasant. We particularly liked the noodles, beef bulgogi and the spicy pork soup. Will likely visit again to try other dishes including their set menu which looks rather interesting.
