Honestly, i wanted to love this.. i wanted to enjoy the night so much, however I ended up leaving early. When arriving at the venue, it really is beautiful.. the atmosphere is great and the sight of burgers will make anyone's mouth water.. We ordered food at Huxtaburger and while waiting decided to grab seats. The beanbags were so uncomfortable.. you kinda feel embarrassed even fiddling with it because the people next to you will feel every movement since they're so close. Our burgers were ready about 30 minutes later and boy was that a disappointment. The meat had no flavour, it had a weird taste of old grease (that fish and chips smell, but you can taste it) and the chips were not that great either. Making peace with the tasteless burger, we decided to fill up in popcorn and tried to get comfortable. There was just no way, no matter how much we tried, you either had to hold your head up or lay on your back constantly feeling like you're sliding off.You try to get into the movie however you are constantly aware of how you're sitting? Not to mention people infront of you are eating so they're sitting up right and you have a view of their heads on the screen the entire time. (See photos attached) So we left, half an hour into the movie.. decided to go home and get it on box office from the comfort of our couch. All in all the concept if great, but the execution needs improvement.

Perfect idea for a relaxed date night. Get cosy with your significant other and settle in for an enjoyable night! Plenty of space and the bean bags are comfortable. Blankets are available for hire. Definitely bring warm clothes, it gets windy and a bit chilly. Sound is clear and loud enough. Food is delicious but get in quick as wait times blow out the closer you get to movie start time. Plenty of choices for drinks, alcoholic and non.

Excellent set up. Food is great, atmosphere is great, even whilst you are waiting for the movie to start. The music is up to date and the at a good volume. Everyone serves you with a smile.... it really is great. Are the premium lounge tickets worth it? Absolutely. Free pop corn and a free ice cream. The food portion sizes are perfect, and the prices are not ridiculous either. They could gouge your fur money because you’re trapped... but they don’t... we’ll be back for sure.

Great venue! I loved the ambience last night, highly recommend that everyone check it out :) They should totally open up one of these things where the starry night is much clearer, that would be so cool!

The place ... to watch a classic movie. Amazing setup, big beansbag... come early and enjoy the sun set over the city ! Good sounds, friendly staff ... grab a beer à the bar on top and a pizza ! You re ready to spend a bloody awesome time under the stars ! Have to mention, gluten free base and vegan pizza are amazing !

Great cinema, my first time here and my first time at an open-air cinema. It's definitely an experience I'll be repeating. The sound was good, and the screen was also good. Bean bags or deck chairs for seating. My preference is the reclining deck chairs. We saw Hocus Pocus, one of my favourite movies.

The 2023/24 Opening night was fantastic, everything ran as smooth as silk and there was a really good vibe. The sound has much improved! A Haunting in Venice was enjoyable, we were on the roof with Monsieur Poirot and his marrows! There have been some decor changes. Looks great! Clean toilets and Benedict's Burgerbuns are tasty and have gf options. Sadly their hot chips share the fryer. But you can bring your own food and The Old Shanghai is just downstairs. All in all a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.

What fun! Great location with easy parking, but make sure you get there early to secure a beanbag or pre bookeda deck chair. And don't forget to bring a rug, it gets chilly once the sun is gone! Highly recommend for a fun night out at the movies

Such a great night out! Excellent view from the roof top of the city, the perfect backdrop to sit back in a bean bag and enjoy a movie! Plenty of food and drinks available, parking is available literally in the same building

It's a great night out on the roof with a glass of wine or bottle. However, the foods not great and the movie sound is terrible.

A great experience. We booked the premium seats - mainly so we knew we had guarenteed seats together. It definitely fills up so you need to arrive early if you are on the normal bean bags. On the premium seats you can arrive early to get your pick but all seats would be equally as good I reckon. The popcorn was good. We just had snacks and not the burgers. Movie is easy to hear, bean bag is super comfy, views are good, all in all a great experience.

Good location, beanbags could use a few more beans. Food and drinks are amazing. You can even hire a blanket if it gets cold

What a Perth secret. Still a secret in 2024 Roof top movies. Get there at 6pm when gates open, as bean bags go fast. Bring some blankets to save your bags before heading for food and drinks. The burgers were flying off the grill, to big smile and some woohoo's as people walked away. The Heat Ledger Chicken Burger was excellent. Only negative - the serve of chips are a little on the small size for the price. The bar has a good selection at reasonable prices. You can byo dinner and sweets.

It really is such a beautiful city. The warm air of Summer drifts across the night. The sounds of Northbridge below form the backdrop of the night. You're tucked up cosy on your rooftop beanbag with a cold beverage & a snack to top it off. Loved it. We'll be back for sure!

I have always longed to come watch a movie since the first moment I came to perth and finally did tonight. Had a splendid movie night here. What a cozy and chill place this is! It's such a huge shame it's finishing the end of the month. Gonna make a second visit on the last day. Don't forget to bring your ID but to leave any alcohol at home cuz it's not allowed. Food is okay.

Great view with affordable food. Great selection of snacks and the beanbags are super comfortable. Highly recommend going with a group of friends!!

We had a 10/10 time here. Awesome atmosphere, good food with a decent range of alcohol and snacks to choose from. The sunset experience was fantastic.

Really enjoyed Rooftop Movies!! It's such a chill vibe up there & all the staff are lovely.. Awsome family night out, kids loved it! Parking is right underneath & only $5 for the night. We had Huxta Burgers & they were yummy! Love how u can take your own food in too! Beanbags were comfy& clean. Can't wait to go back 🖤
