Asian Golden Wok

Restaurant Malaysian restaurant

👍👍 A little hidden gem that services tasty Chinese/Malaysian food North of the River. Place is not big but still nicely spaced out with tables & seatings. Very friendly owner/staff. Food were tasty and had good wok fried flavour but the ho fun egg sauce I found slightly too salty & overpowering with so... People often mention fried, good, Malaysian, chicken, ordered, staff, dish,

One of my favourite places in Perth for oodle fried noodles. I usually get either the fried kolo mee or fried kway teow. Portions are huge, prices are cheap and the flavours are authentic. Other dishes we've tried and are worth mentioning are the kolo mee, hainan chicken rice, laksa and nasi lemak.

A little hidden gem that services tasty Chinese/Malaysian food North of the River. Place is not big but still nicely spaced out with tables & seatings. Very friendly owner/staff. Food were tasty and had good wok fried flavour but the ho fun egg sauce I found slightly too salty & overpowering with soy sauce. My husband has never been a fan of fried kuay teow but he ordered it since I wanted the ho fun egg sauce and we didn’t want to order the same dish, he really enjoyed it and finished the whole plate. We also ordered the curry puffs (3 for $7) but we were way too full to eat any. Size is approx 2/3 of the standard curry puff size but they did look tasty and flakey. Definitely will return if we feel like Chinese/Malaysian food without travelling far.

One of the better Malaysian restaurants in the area where there aren't that many. Overall food quality is decent from its authentic Malaysian menu at very reasonable prices. It's pretty convenient if you're in the area to get some comforting food. The lady who seemed like the owner was friendly.

My goto in Perth for my favourite Malaysian dish - Curry Chicken. Small venue with a hawker vibe. Super fresh ingredients with top traditional flavours at prices everyone can afford.

I've had Nasi Lemak all over Perth and I can confidently say Golden Wok in Innaloo has the best Nasi Lemak in Perth, great value at $13.80

My wife and I went for lunch here. She ordered Hofun Egg Sauce and I ordered Nasi Lemak (Rice in coconut milk and Curry chicken) Mine tasted good. Had a taste of my wife's dish and it tasted good as well. Each dish was about 12 dollars

unfortunately we had the disappointing experience here, as the food itself was reasonably good. ordered and paid, then had the staff come back and check our orders (and others) about 15 mins later. mistakes happen, we understand. then get a dish 20 mins later, then the next dish (only ordered two) another 20 mins later after asking a couple of times. many other customers had a long wait despite it not being too busy... hopefully it's better for others...

Ordered Kolo mee, fried rice and fried kway teow. They were all delicious and came in generous servings. The owners were very polite and helpful. Definitely worth revisiting!

Very good, consistent fresh food with friendly and efficient staff. Full buffet self-service as well as prepared meals, and cheap packed meals at end of day. Their Laksa is great, along with Hainanese Chicken Rice. Not to be confused with "Asian Golden Wok" which is a sit-down restaurant outside the mall, a hundred metres or so away to the south.

Kolo Mee that highly recommended by CC's nephew and indeed it was very flavorful and delicious. CC ordered Singapore Fried MeeHoon and it was overcooked (with bitter / burnt food taste) and they recook a new one for her after we informed the staff.

Love the tomato kuay tiew. Nasi lemak with curry chicken came with two tiny pieces of chicken. This place charges $0.30 for cards payment unlike the usually % fee. They don't offer tap water.

Nice place, friendly staff, yummy food, and affordable prices. We choose beef brisket noodles and malay curry chicken rice. I attached the photos, I am not an expert one of Asian Golden Wok, but I reckon it is nice. Thanks

Amazing hidden gem!! The fried kolo noodles was the best I’ve had in perth, I dare say almost as good if not better than in Malaysia and I grew up there. Huge portion, very value for money. Fantastic homely service too. Will return.

Don’t go here cause I don’t want it crowded when I go back next time. Excellent food place. Eaten here multiple times. Always great food and prices.

We came here for a quick lunch and had the Beef Brisket Rice and Beef Brisket Noodles. We were impressed not only by the texture and low fat beef brisket that melts in your mouth straight away, but the generous portion size. Will definitely come back here to try their other dishes out!

The Asian food and especially fried noodles at this place is yummy and very Malaysian (East Malaysian) Especially the fried Kolo mee and the Foochow mee. The normal Kolo mee is also wonderful comparable to the one in Perth City. I've gotta say that this place is probably one of the few good tasting and above average Asian places around this neighbourhood..... hopefully more will come over..

Just an all round bad experience, way too spicy, when I asked them to fix it they just added more rice still too spicy, then they said there is nothing else they can do

The best Malaysian place north of the river, very good quality. The golden trio is: fried kway teow, hainanese chicken rice and ho fun in egg sauce! Delicious! Unfortunately moved away from the area but we still visit just for their amazing food.

Went here before a movie and was worried I wouldn't finish my meal in time - it was handed out extremely quickly and the only reason I didn't finish was because the portion was so large, not to mention affordable and very tasty. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu

Ordered takeaway, thinking the food will be cold when we reached home, but to our surprise it was still very warm and ready to eat. The Fried Kolo Mee is very good and tasted amazing with the sambal. Very Impressed with the Fried Keow Teow, tasted very authentic and similar to Penang style as it comes with the Chinese sausage.

Had Hainanese chicken and laksa. The flavor of laksa isn’t quite what I remembered and expected.
