Very disappointed with the service and experience of this hospital. I took my son in for ongoing fevers and deteriorating condition after advice by our GP to go straight to emergency for bloods and further testing. After waiting in what looked like a shed, for over 3 hours, no bloods, and basic vital signs (pulse rate) was not even conducted on initial assessment. After 6 hours we were told to go back to GP if symptoms persist. With no answers, we are just back at the beginning and with a very sick child. My concerns were completely dismissed and diminished as a parent. As well as this, no basic empathy, compassion or bed side manner was conducted by nurses or doctors towards my child in the Emergency department, which was shocking to me. This is a hospital for children, if you do not like working with them, why are you there? The doctor did not do a thorough investigation to determine the cause of his symptoms. I actually cannot believe I had this experience and really hope some changes are implemented as soon as possible. I really hope my child does not need emergency treatment at this hospital before then, I have no confidence in the health care system for children in Perth.

Perth Children’s Hospital Emergency should change its name to Perth Children’s waiting Area. Seen one of the worse place in rest of the Country. Wait there from 0700pm to 1130pm for emergency doctor to attend my son with breathing problem with infection and its heart rate is high and fever 139. Even my wife requested to one of nurse to give medicine for fever to my son. She know its high fever but not agree to give him panadol. Then after long waiting on uncomfortable chairs. When we checked with nurse how long we have to wait more. Then she reply its 6 ambulance came in between your waiting time so now still 6 patients in front of you at 1130 pm. Its really disappointed. Its our request to management. Our kids are our future of our country.

Appalling wait times. Over four hours and counting. At least 3 hours every other time I’ve had to bring my children here—hardly anything has changed over the years. Families deserve better than the dismal state of this department where nothing seems to be treated as an emergency at all.

I arrived as a visitor showing support for my son with the intent to get to ICU where my grandson was on life support. All visitors were led to a que and were vetted before going to the next station for a RATS test. In the vetting process, I was told my grandson already had two visitors (ie the maximum allowed without an exemption). I was told my son could request the exemption from the ICU manager. However, apparently there is no waiting room in ICU so I went back to the car park while my son had his visit. Although it appear that the process was highly inconvenient for me, I was impressed and relieved at how serious the hospital was taking their COVID protocols.

The worst ED ever for kids. I was sitting with my son for 2.5h in the waiting room. He had a temperature of 39° they didn't even bother to give him Nurofen as promised on arrival. I went to one of the nurses and asked can someone just give him Nurofen and his respond was that someone will attend soon. Nobody came. One hour before we walked out nurse showed up to take more details and prepare for doctor. She said we will wait one more hour. Waiting room was almost empty. It was terrible experience. My son was lying down with temperature and they were attending not emergency patients chating and having a giggle. Despite saying and having on they small tv screens in waiting rooms that the child who feels the most sick will be attended first. The nurses are very unprofessional and very discriminating. If your child is having a flu or cold and you can avoid going to ED PCH and take your child to the GP it is much better and quicker.

100% exceptional service and commitment from the emergency staff of every domain. Special thanks to Collin (emergency specialist) and ED doctors/ nurses and all the other staff members who were on call in the afternoon shift. Can't be more happy about the invaluable service the emergency team is providing at PCH. THANK YOU!!

Waited 6+ hours with a covid positive child who had smashed her teeth in while jumping off the bed. I didn't actually mind waiting that long as I know staff are under the pump and I understand they had to prioritise sicker kids. However, when we were finally seen by the dr my daughter who is unable to eat or speak and barely drink was so quickly dismissed it's negligent. The doctor took a photo of her mouth to "show the dentist" Then came back and told me to take her to a dentist and quickly discharged 🤦 keeping in mind she has covid we can't see a dentist anyway ? My issue is that my child will become sicker soon due to not being able to keep up with adequate food or fluid intake on top of COVID and her teeth being busted. After we've recovered from wasting our time at your hospital, I will be taking her to another hospital who actually give a hoot!!

I went to the hospital last night with my 3 year old son because I was very concerned. He was vomiting and not tolerating fluids for more than 48 hours and the triage nurse scored me zero. My son had not had a wet nappy since the night before, but that wasn't reason enough to at least score a two. We all understand the shortages and pressure that the staff are under, but please do not make hospitals a scary place to visit! I shouldn't have to justify myself why my child needs medial attention!

What's wonderful state of the art facility for kids in Perth. With wonderful staff and a great design. If we have to take our child to hospital we are glad it's this one. As 'frequent flyers' we have always received the best of care for our child.

Took my son who’s just under 2 years old had a bleeding from an injury, waited over 3 hours and no one called us. They said they were busy while the waiting room was totally empty!! Absolutely the worst experience I had in my life.

This review isn't a reflection of the staff because the nurse and doctors are doing such a great job. Went to ER to get my 21 month old daughter checked due to lingering high fever and most of the time was spent on waiting and it was very stressful for my daughter. It is very obvious that the hospital is understaffed and I do hope that the management will add more manpower to reduce the loads on staff and hopefully it will lead to a less stressful situation from patient's sides.

Thank you to the ladies at PCH especially Ebony who works on ward 3B in the NIC Unit we couldn't have gotten through the past week without all of your help, kindness and generosity we appreciate everything that you and all the other ladies do for us who have sick kids. The food hall is to die for! Sooo much food, lots of options, friendly service and absolutely delicious food🤤

The hospital is new, clean. However, apart from that not much I can say. I have never ever in my life waited so long in a hospital’s ED! Took at least 3-4 hours before you say the doctor. Something needs to be done to make this process bit quicker. Not acceptable at all.

Not impressed with PCH!! If you want to work in Pediatrics, you need to show kindness, compassion and empathy to little ones. Last visit to this hospital left us very upset by the way a particular nurse was talking to my child. Change career lady if kids annoy you so much!!

I have taken my daughter to the Hospital for appointments and have had first class care from all the departments we visited. Just want to thank all the staff at the hospital for all their help and professionalism and their caring attitude. I was impressed by how promptly we got seen to by each department (thanks Amy for all your support). My daughter has needle phobia, the hospital provided a phobia specialist to support her. Chelsea stayed past her shift to comfort and assist my daughter and my wife and I really appreciated all her help. Thanks again PCH...

Excellent staff and facilities, no surprise that most of the 1 star reviews are by terrible parents who wait days and days before taking their children to see a medical professional. The staff are working round the clock doing the best they can with the resources they have, to suggest otherwise is pure ignorance and I would love to see some of the 1 star commenters say some of the things they've written to the nurses and doctors face

Having visited Perth Children's Hospital with my 6-month-old, I must express my disappointment with the excessively long wait time, which exceeded 4-5 hours in total. Despite our GP's urgent recommendation to visit the children's emergency department, the situation did not improve significantly. This is especially concerning, considering the recent incident with Ashwarya at the hospital and yet no improvement. Furthermore, the lack of a feeding room added to the inconvenience during our wait. It's disheartening to see that the WA government reportedly wasted over 500 million on Covid kits that ultimately ended up in bins, yet there is a shortage of doctors. It raises serious concerns about prioritizing essential healthcare needs.

6 HOUR WAIT! Before we gave up. Absolute joke of an emergency department. Waited in the waiting area for 4 hours with my 2 year old son unwell with a high fever. Got called through thinking we were about to see a doctor but instead but waited in the room a further 2 hours with no visit at all from doctors or nurse. When I confronted the nurse about the wait they stated "they were under the pump" meanwhile they had been chin wagging all night gathering around computers watching God knows what with no urgency what so ever. If that's the case maybe they need to hire more actual doctors instead of nurses who are only concerned with ticking their boxes on paper. Packed it in and gave up at 3:30am due to being awake for 24 hours and the risk of falling asleep at the wheel driving my family home.

Absolutely disgusted. Discharged after 10 days no better than when my daughter was admitted (continuous vomiting for a month). Head doctor admitted they had no idea what was wrong with her but didn’t plan to do any more investigations to find out, ceased treatment and discharged her without any kind of plan or support. Gross breach in duty of care. You don’t just get to discharge patients because the case is difficult. If this is the best Perth has, we are in SERIOUS trouble.

Great hospital with lots of thought and planning when setting this up for staff, patient and carers. Only negatives are the shocking parking charges that are run by a private company. More parking bays should have been designed as this is very frequently maxed out.

I'm a professional in the medical field and was horrified by our experience. Almost four hours without seeing a single nurse. The students nurse didn't take my son's vitals. Two medical students took his history. They will both make very good doctors some day, I'm sure. The RMO - not sure what level he was, couldn't get blood. He looked fatigued and tired. After asking a child with viral pnemonia to walk to the X-ray department, a child with a temperature above 39 degrees, who hadn't been offered a drink of water or paracetamol even though we requested them, I wasn't too impressed. Finally, our time had run out, due to the four hour rule. We were offered a script for antibiotics, even though the pneumonia was viral. Bad showing, PCH. Will be taking my son to FSH children's in future.

Emergency department is shocking , wait times are extremely excessive 5+ hours to be seen by a doctor! And that’s with a very sick baby ! The staff come across rude and like they don’t care ! Doctors , nurses and admin staff walking around doing nothing! Talking about their weekends, Christmas shopping and social life whilst huge numbers of sick children and worried parents desperately wait , there was no urgency in providing patients with care, it was really shocking to witness that this is the health system provided to our children of Perth, We witnessed several parents walking out with there sick children to get medical attention elsewhere ( staff didn’t care about this either) .

First class treatment, our little girl was sick on a very hot perth day. Staff could not be more helpful. We stayed for 3 hours. Not rushed. Cleaners do a great job. Nurses like airline hostesses. Doctor who loves her job. Just keep up the great work. Thank you.

I took my 4 year old daughter into the A&E dept this evening, with a suspected fracture. I can’t rate the staff more highly from the covid screeners, security and reception staff to the nurses, radiologists and doctors. Each and every one of them went over and above to ensure my child and I were well looked after and I observed the same behaviour towards all the families. In what is a very demanding department I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all the wonderful staff.

So, so, so disappointed. Referred as urgent, call to find out when my child's appointment will be, told should get back to me in a few days with an appointment. Referring hospital told me I would be seen with 2-3 day from the referral.. guess not. This system does not fill me with confidence or comfort that any care is actually given for our children even once diagnosed as urgent.

We went to PCH and was admitted in the ED around 6:35pm on the day. 8:30 pm I went to the desk and asked are we anyway closer to be seen? The nurse was friendly and told us we need to wait for at least another three hours. This just told me that my son’s condition is not critical so I discharged him and went to an after hour GP. 20 mins after we arrived the GP, we got our meds and arrived home. All I need is someone told me “ your son’s condition is not critical, should you want to try an after hour GP that will be faster. No one told me.

We’ve been here twice with our toddler in the past year and the first time was absolutely horrendous. Rude, dismissive staff, they misdiagnosed my son & wouldn’t listen when I questioned their diagnosis (they eventually tested & sure enough, their diagnosis was wrong), and it’s so hard how there’s no food etc for parents. I’d be happy to pay, if only we could order and not have to leave our sick child! However, our most recent visit was a totally different experience. We were seen immediately, and staff were thorough and compassionate & really listened. I sincerely hope this means that there’s been a positive turnaround at PCH overall.

What a wonderful hospital and facility services; such a shame the drs didn't think or care about what they stole from us. The first -ever- tooth to be lost from my only child was thrown into medical waste when I PLEADED WITH THEM BEFORE SURGERY that I needed it for him. Tonight my little boy has no tooth under his pillow to be collected by the tooth fairy, you stole a first moment from us and I am seething. I'm NOT going to name people and I understand hospital policy but this act was HEARTLESS! while waiting in your waiting room I wrote a letter to hopefully quell my sons desire to be visited by the tooth fairy. I shouldn't have had to! So hurt by this and only dire circumstances will we back.

Great hospital facility with very poor service. We visited this hospital twice this year, and the service is the same. Waiting time is 4-6 hours in an emergency dept. This is ridiculous. Just a suggestion, if the patient is not in critical condition and can also be seen by GP in another time, maybe the nurse can decide if it’s better for families to see another doctor somewhere else or wait on longer hours. Seriously, you are dealing with kids here, not adult who can decide for themselves.

Our child doctor's appointment at Ear Nose Throat department of Perth Childrens Hospital was scheduled at 1:30pm. Its 3pm now and ...we 👪 are still waiting 😪 Definitely the timing management in this department needs some improvement!!! Additionaly the reception staff does not look to be helpful and at least a bit friendly at all 😒 We did not experience any issue when we visited the same Hospital over a year ago. The patients' service provided at that time (by different hospital department ) we found as very professional and friendly. It looks like some hospital staff in this hospital can do a great job 👍, whereas other (admin staff) can NOT unfortunately 👎

Great facility and amazing environment. But the biggest downside is wait time. I've been there 3 times in last 6 months and every time waited for at-least 4 hours.Last week when I asked nurse around 1:00 am that we're waiting for a doctor since 9:00 PM, she said "You can leave if you want, I can't tell you how long it's gonna take"

I understand the feeling of parents that commented below, I know how frustrated you were with the sick kid and had to wait that many hours because we have been through it. My 8.5month old baby is a hard sleeper and does not sleep at all at the hospital, and we had to wait so many hours then his operations got cancelled and rescheduled so many times because there was no HDU bed for him. It's not a one-time operation, we will need to go for further operations from now on, makes things even harder. But we know people there have tried their best to get him in asap. We really appreciate that. Thank you so much to Dr Phil from ENT and the ENT team for doing a great job on my son's 1st operation. Thanks to all the nurses and volunteers for helping us out when we were there. It's a hard job and you guys are amazing ❤

Honestly could not be happier with everyone at pch.. we were in for tonsils, grommets and adenoids and from start to finish my child and I have been looked after, made to feel so welcome and the care was above and beyond. From reception areas, nurses, doctors and even the volunteers.. Just as we were about to be discharged my daughter became unwell and we are still here being cared for so much by the amazing nurses on Ward 3C…just in case! Special mention to Vic & Lauren who have been amazing and gone above and beyond for my bossy 3 year old. Also can not fault the cafeteria area, good food, friendly staff & reasonable prices. And the overall vibrancy of the whole hospital..

Took my 7 week old son to emergency on Friday morning the staff were absolutely fantastic they ran every test possible for him kept him in until they were 100% positive that he was well enough to be home. Staff went above and beyond for us as parents and our son 💙 Couldn't have asked for a better team to care for him.

My sister in law is currently in PCH with her 7 month old baby, who has just had surgery for hip displasia. They are being held overnight for an MRI review in the morning, no bed has been offered to my sister in law to sleep in and no dinner meal is available for her. She's being forced to sleep in a chair, not a recliner chair just a normal chair. Millions and millions of dollars have spent on this hospital and they're not even able to offer a fold away bed or a hot meal for parents staying overnight with their children. It's just disgusting!

It is a great hospital with nice staff and facilities. We can only be thankful and consider ourselves lucky to have our children taken care off by PCH. I would suggest that they have a nurse or even a doctor to be at the entry door of the emergency department to great and assess patients quickly to determine their level of emergency. Currently they have a window where people sit in front of a nurse and answer questions. Others could be waiting for their turn not knowing if their child will make it through the next 5 minutes. This happened to us when my 3yo child had an asthma attack for the first time, he was breathing through a needle hole and could have died while we waited for the people in front of us to finish answering questions and getting answered by the nurse. The staff took care of our son immediately after they realised the seriousness of the situation and gave us a plan to follow. Parking is a major problem and for the emergency department they should have really taken this into consideration.

How can you not give this place 5 stars, they literally save childrens life's for free! Did you have to wait to long in emergency??? Probably because the doctors have to act quickly saving the life of another child, be glad that isn't your child having there chest cut open finding a problem! if your asked to wait, probably means you child will live!

A massive thanks to the nurses here. My little girl Theodora was very sick and we had to stay in for an entire week. They are extremely busy but the nurses all went out of thier way to make my baby feel special and cheer her up. The job they do here is full on and I think it takes a special kind of person to do. I can't remeber everyone's names, because there was so many people we interacted with but a special thanks to the lovely nurse who gave Theodora her spare clock to take home. She loves it and hasn't let it go.

We have been seeing the cardiology team Dr Andrews & cardiac nurse Kelly Holmes for almost 4 years. They are always so professional and get their job done with absolute compassion respect & professionalism. Sadly the nurse department are in great need of professional mature compassionate individuals especially at a children's Hospital. They definitely need to hire competent nurses who are willing to do with the job with compassion respect and dignity. Parents are already stressed and my last visit mentally destroyed me as I was violently verbally attacked at 10pm at night by a particular nurse after I politely asked her not to wake my daughter up as she was recovering from open heart surgery and we had been sharing a room with another family with bare minimum sleep. The nurse was hired from a different agency and was immediately removed from being my daughter's nurse as she become very aggressive and violent. It's not what you want to be dealing with whilst your sick child is in hospital.

We have been humbled by the professionalism and compassion of the staff here during our extended stay for my boys Type 1 diabetes diagnosis. We genuinely feel supported by the health care system. He has been very happy with the food (and selfish parents that complain about not getting waited on by the staff here need to get their priorities sorted and remember why they're here, there is plenty of affordable food options nearby), and the Starlight foundation do a wonderful job of creating a positive experience out of a negative one. The parking is a nightmare during the week, but otherwise the facilities are great. I have nothing but praise for our health care workers and my boy couldn't have been better looked after in the circumstances.

My son broke his arm last year and needed a pin inserted into his arm to help the healing process. Each time we visited all the staff, nurses and doctors were wonderful. They were clearly very busy but were always friendly and helpful and always put my son at ease. We had to go back for day surgery last week to remove the pin and again we had a great experience with the upbeat staff and a very lovely anaesthetist who made my son feel very relaxed with his terrible dad jokes. I can’t rave enough about the wonderful people who run this very busy hospital. Also peeps if you have private health insurance make sure you use it. Not only does it financially help the hospital you get a food voucher and free parking! Win win. Thanks PCH.

A late evening rush to the hospital after an injury during RL training is always a concern… We were greeted by a whole team of people doing their part to keep our hospital covid free and then taken in. Within two hours, my son had been given at RAT, seen by a friendly nurse, treated by the most patient and caring doctor and given five X-rays. The emergency was full of other patients waiting and the staff were all so busy but we were all treated with care. Thank you to everyone who works so tirelessly at our hospital.

Honestly, the worst!! My 1year old daughter had fever due to covid i had to wait for 2.5 hrs the doctors and nurses wont even tell you what to do next. The answer i was getting for all my questions was The Doctors will be with you shortly. My daughter was at her worst because she had covid and hand foot and mouth. One of the lady doctor came to check her temperature and my daughter was refusing to be touched. That doctor was so rude she literally snapped at us. Please its humble request if you are a doctor or nurse please have some empathy towards a sick child. This was quite a while ago but i had to write it.

I wish, I could give you 0 star as you truly deserve it! Emergency Department is so disappointing! Waiting times are ridiculous! 5 hours to be seen by a doctor! I had to leave the hospital before seeing by a doctor, that’s what they want!!!

So lucky to have such a great hospital with friendly nurses, friendly doctors, friendly staff and great charities that make the hospital stay or visit so special. The only downside is the carpark ( high fees, never working ticket machines and line to get out ).

I had a really lovely experience at the Food Court here, I was served by Lianne whose kindness made my day (can't remember the name of the shop they were serving sushi). I was coming in for an interview but had an incredibly stressful week where my role at another org was unexpectedly made redundant, the night before the interview I lost thousands of dollars to an unknown scammer and now my banking card was deactivated. I was shy a few dollars for lunch and a drink but because Lianne understood my situation she charged me the staff rate, which meant I didn't need to go into the interview with an empty stomach. I just wanted to express that Lianne's act of kindness that day was so deeply appreciated.

Many thanks to our fabulous ER team and special mention to nurse David for our visit today (Dec 16, 2019). David treated my son with humour, empathy, kindness and skill. Teaching him how to self manage his broken arm in the process. We left with confidence and a smile.

Travelled 4hours for 5minute appointment with ENT. To then speak to a so called specialist who sounds like they have there degree from a cereal box. Nurses and other staff amazing but I would rather see a private ENT.

Been to the ED twice with my newborn and found the staff to be caring, attentive, efficient and just overall wonderful. I really appreciate how they take the time to listen to a mothers concerns and give balanced answers. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to give a better review. The facility and Nurses are great. There's clearly some improvements required from administration to ensure there's enough doctors on shift. 4 hour wait times are not acceptable on a regular basis. If it was a once off then sure, maybe there was just an influx of abnormal patients. Looking at other reviews, excessive wait times seem to be regular occurrences. It's an unfair reflection on the nurses, they are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They are sadly let down by the lack of doctors on shift.

The diabetes educators acted like they cared when my 14 year old was diagnosed with type one diabetes last year. It's been nearly one year now since my child was diagnosed. I have had no help from the educators regarding the concerns for his diabetes management at school. Empty promises, lack of care or concern. As long as they tick there boxes they couldn't care less. Do yourself a favour and get your own private doctor to help manage your childs diabetes. Absolutely disgusted .

Clean facilities and brightly coloured and decorated place for sick young children to visit when they are unwell. Only thing is parking is expensive there. They have a nice retail food hall that serves delicious chips. Good place to get food when you are hungry while visiting

Walked in on a Monday evening with my daughter after she fell off a trampoline at a friend's house and she was in pain. The triage saw us right away and we were directed in a waiting area. The registrar saw us very quickly. We explained the situation how it happened and the doctor was kind and caring. My daughter didn't show any symptoms of fractures in her arm, but after talking with his consultant they decided to do an x-ray. The doctors organized the x-ray and the radiologist saw us right away too. About 10 minutes later the registrar came back with the bad news of a fractured humerus as per x-ray. We were constantly informed of the procedures and they organized a sling and a followup. We found the staff at PCH were professional, pleasant and very efficient and well organized. It's important for the medical staff to work well with each other as this cuts down on patient waiting times. From the time we walked in to PCH to the time we went home it was less than an hour. Great staff are an asset for this hospital and made our experience a little more pleasant. Thank you

Visited the ED for the first time and both my son and I had a really good experience. My son has autism so hospital visits can be very stressful. The nurse we had was so kind and patient we managed to get through everything without any tears. Thanks PCH

Ground floor circus full of staff and smiley volunteers do not reflect what goes on once admitted. I was left 24/7 for 2 weeks straight without brought food, tea, water, nothing for the parent. I rang the bell, nothing happened, after 20 minutes I said please is there anyone available to help me? Because I'd been sitting in her vomit for 3.5 hours and needed desperately to use the bathroom. I was told no there isn't anyone available. I said what about hiring me an AIN to hold the baby for me, they said no, it's up to hospital management. I was told other parents get rfds'd here and the parent abandons their babies to go get drunk and hit the casinos, and that that's where all staff go to help, and I said but I am the one sat here alone unable to leave my baby alone and you won't offer me support? Food? Fresh air? no. Nothing. I was nothing to them. There's clearly NOT ENOUGH STAFF. RN's agreed with me, that this hospital is greatly understaffed. In the middle of one night a new graduate nurse was reading a manual about how to operate one of the pumps! The food for my baby was the same lunch and same dinner and breakfast every single day. Unhealthy, sugared fake pureed fruit, and hard lump potato that my baby born with a condition was actually going to cause her to choke. The prescription we got sent home with was for a baby we had never heard of!the nurses didn't get her pain relief on time and were 45 mins late the baby was almost in cardiac arrest by that point I was clearing the room propping for a code blue! The TV wouldn't work and noone came for 3 and a half days to fix it, the blind broken again noone from that department came for days. I know in my heart nothing has improved since poor ashwaris death here, but employed graduates. The hospital is dangerous and understaffed in every single area, from engineers to catering, to nurses to AINS

I took my daughter here today and I cannot fault the service. Every person we interacted with from the gentleman verifying COVID sign in, to the triage nurses and especially the doctor was amazing, polite and caring in their service. The facility was easy to navigate and nice to see creative interactive options for the kids. Thank you

Perth Children’s hospital is an absolute joke. Spent 6 hours here having my son seen for a broken leg. Was fitted with a temporary cast that was attempted twice as it wasn’t done correctly at first. Within a few hours the temporary cast was cracking. Had to wait until Monday to speak to someone and outpatient services will not see us within 1 week of ED visit so we’re now waiting again at ‘fast track reception’ two and a half hours later and only seen a nurse who’s suggested X-rays will be likely be requested again. Sitting in an overcrowded area surrounded with children holding vomit bags and coughing everywhere. This is not at all good enough.

Really grateful to the paramedics, nurses and doctor who attended to our 3 year old late last night. They were attentive, caring and spoke to him in a tone that helped to comfort him in his distress especially as he gets very anxious around new people and enviroments. It also helped calm us down knowing that he was in good hands.

Has its ups and downs I stayed in ward 5a a few times last year and luckily I had a good psychiatrist and treating team who really helped me. Some of the nurses were a bit off but there were also some nice nurses. Definitely better than Bentley Adolescent Unit EMyU avoid that place at all costs.

So I went to get my sons cast off from a broken bone in his leg which was the main bone. They toke the cast off and refused to re scan the leg to see if it was fixed or not and now we are having to get it re x rayed 2 weeks later and the docs where not that great they treated us like we shouldn’t be there and they didn’t care. But the nurses were awesome on point with everything and went above and beyond.

Amazing doctors and nurses.. excellent professionals and the service provided is top notch. Is a very busy place and the wait times may sometimes be too long. But if it's an emergency you will be immediately looked after for sure.

Will give credit where credit is due - no wait time as we’re there very early and prioritised due to a medically complex child. Understaffed, horrific communication, having to remind doctors/nurses that a child’s medication is due. Not once was the call button acknowledged or attended to. Being told every hour for 6 hours that we will be going to the ward in 20 minutes.

I took my child to there ED mind its a 2 hour drive from my house we stayed there for 19 days. It was the most horrific experience, i bought up concerns about my daughters health & care they completely dismissed these so i had to end up calling aswiras care call. Just to find out once i was home they called dcp on me and made completley unfound and faulse accusations i would never recommend this hospital to anybody 😁

came in with a tumour, came out without one. + notice all low star reviews are from 8 months-a year ago. even that can't be used as an excuse, however, because I was admitted around two years ago, and little to none of those issues were there.
