A beautiful place to visit at any time of year. The trail is an easy 5km loop, which is sealed, so it's ideal for walking or cycling. On the western side is a lookout for the lake. Parking available on the eastern side. Unfortunately there are no public toilets.

Great walking trails. Both concrete paths and bush track closer to the lake. An abundance of various birdlife, especially if you are there late afternoon/early evening. Walk, jog, or ride your bike. Dog friendly on leash.

Love walking, cycling, running, would be nice to have a cafe near the lake w a playground or a picnic spot. Great spot.

No toilet facilities.

Nice to walk/ run/ ride around. Just be careful of the snakes and spiders.

pretty lake with a good quality walk/cycle path around it. some of the houses around the lake are really nice!

Our daily work spot

A really nice (bitumen) walk track around this lake, which is almost exactly a 5km circuit; runs alongside Hepburn avenue for a couple hundred metres, and at times next to quiet suburban streets, but otherwise a nice escape from suburbia. There's plenty of wildlife to see if you are willing to look for it. Some nice vantage points to sit and enjoy the scenery. Friendly people too and generally not too many cyclists or powered skateboards (which can be very annoying!)
