Great beach! Lots of grass areas for games, yoga, reading, whatever. Many outdoor showers, lots of shops nearby for a nice breakfast, lunch, or dinner! So much space that it doesn’t seem to get over crowded. Everyone I’ve met has been very friendly. Amphitheatre that is covered but from the wind coming off the ocean expect to still get a little wet from the rain. There is a local heated pool right next to the beach that is affordable! Sometimes there is little events with pop up stands and food carts/trucks! A great area to visit when in Perth. Oh yeah be sure to check the coles close by too for affordable snacks for the beach!

The recent redevelopment of the foreshore and surrounding areas are amazing. Now featuring a host of amenities for locals and tourists including the Amphitheater, Skateboard Park, Swimming Pool, Basketball Court, new green areas, better public toilets/showers and a large playground plus much more. Scarborough Beach is one of Australia's most beautiful beaches. Clean and patrolled by the amazing "SLS" it's also one of Australia's safest, however due to the strong "rips" I encourage everyone to swim between the flags and do not swim at un-patrolled beaches. Public transport is the best method of reaching Scarborough during holidays and the summer due to limited parking. Remember to be sun smart and as always have fun.

You can go to the beautiful beach in Perth via Public transport. Just took the bus 990 (price 2-4$) per round depend on your route. There are Sunset market on Saturday in Winter (May-October) and on Thursday in Summer (Nov-Apr). If you want to take photo the sunshine, recommend coming in Monday, but it was nice at Evening as well. Good for surfing.

Beautiful clean beach, parking can be an issue sometimes but it’s worth it. Lost of nice restaurants and pubs in the local area, Peter’s by the sea does a really good kebab in this area too. Occasionally has some food trucks too which are really great with different cuisines offered every time we have been to visit.

The beach is awesome and the sea too. If there's no wind is good to take sun and have a perfect natural pool in front of you, if you will find the wind you should start learning surf

(Translated by Google) Scarborough was very, until a few years ago I heard that security was bad. But now the town is being improved, The town is neatly arranged in front of the sea. Skateboard park, playground, etc. Children can have fun There are also spots. Every Thursday, a night market is also held, It is full of many people. There are trees I have never seen on the beach It is interesting. Summer Perth is not good for surfing. However, the weather is very good. It hardly rains and the temperature is high. This may be the best season for sightseeing.

No parking it's a big problem, the City of Stirling need to do something about it, you have to get there early in the morning to get a parking spot.

Brand new to the Scarborough Beach landscape is the Scarborough Beach Pool, a geo-thermally heated open-air public pool and world-class recreation facility. It’s your go-to fitness centre and your new local eatery - the perfect place to visit all year round. Scarborough Beach also features an outdoor amphitheatre which in summer hosts all kinds of events including beach cricket. There’s plenty of accommodation along this stretch of coast, making Scarborough Beach an ideal place for a summer holiday.

Scarborough Beach is the most famous beach for Perth residents. It has a very happening vibe. Always busy with so many cafeterias around and plenty of options. During weekends parking can be tough to find and you may have to park long way from your choice of destination. However, take this as advantage as you get to walk alongside the most picturesque coastline.

Scarborough beach is probably my most favourite place to hang whether it’s using the seemingly endless walking & bicycle tracks or chilling at one of the many bars and cafes. Scarborough is family friendly with a very chilax atmosphere, there are substantial play grounds and parks for the kids. The surreal views are an added bonus and I’ll give ya the red hot tip, if you’re in Perth for a visit and you haven’t been to Scarborough to watch the sunset you’re missing out!!!i

A great surfer beach right in front of the Cafe strip/hotels. The area is done up with a beautiful mound grass area to picnic on and play are for the kids. The views are fantastic and the sea breeze is cooling on a warm day. Parking can be a pain...it's a popular location, but if you love the beach it's a must go place 😉

Beautiful beach for all ages. We went in late August, and the water was still a beautiful 18 degrees. There’s a nice playground at the entrance, a small skate park, some toilets and external wash down facilities. Several nearby restaurants and hotels. There’s plenty of timed parking, and paid parking. The beach itself is accessed via stairs. A really nice beach.

A super lovely beach with an incredible community feel. The rec facilities are amazing, the Latino community is super strong here and has dances on Sunday nights, and it's just all round a great time. Parking is rough as though, so try and come outside of peak times or park on a nearby street instead.

Spectacular spot to relax at the end of a big day, solo, or with friends and family. The grassy knoll is a fantastic spot for this occasion, being beautifully manicured and irrigated, soft turf. Nearby bars and cafes are perfect for a bite to eat or afternoon session. This is a must do if in the area. My first time watching the spectacular sunset over the Indian Ocean. AAA +++

Every Thursday there’s the Summer Market where you can find lots of food tracks, handcrafted products stands and a DJ playing music.. very highly recommended! Sunset is a must seen!
