My local pet barn. The store is always clean, well-stocked and the staff are genuinely friendly. They have good specials and a great loyalty programme. On weekends there can be a queue at the dog baths. There is always ample parking.

We visited at the start of the year for my son to select some fish to his aquarium. The gentlemen who helped us was a wealth of knowledge and patiently answered all our questions. He explained to my son which fish will or won't go well with what we currently had, as well as what will go well together in a new tank. The process of cycling the water was well explained and the option of getting tank water tested in-store is brilliant! We visited again recently to upgrade our tank to a larger one and while this store had non in stock, they called their sister store 500m up the road to organise collection from there. The service has always been great and the staff helpful.

The lovely Gen served my 12 year old son who is a fish enthusiast. She was warm and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make the purchase of his fish memorable. When we hopped in the car he said “wow, she’s the nicest Pet Barn lady ever, this is my happy place.” Thank you Gen. We blew out the budget but totally worth it!

Great staff. My doggie gets groomed here and she always comes home looking awesome which is difficult with a Border Collie x Samoyed/Golden Retriever.

Love this place alot of different cat and dog food and ather stuff as well at good prices customer service is awesome always frendly and willing to help.

2 staff on a Sunday, checkout queue is horrendous and lady at check out moves at snails pace. Other staff member is having a lengthy conversation with someone whilst ignoring a bunch of customers including myself waiting 20 minutes. Decided to leave and go somewhere with decent service.

Dog grooming

It is hard to get to, as the lift isn't working, when you are walking and have a disability. The prices for many items, are cheaper than in vets. There is a huge range to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Way to expensive on everything

The groomers here are amazing! Took my puppy for his first grooming and they took such amazing care of him and made his first experience great, he didn’t want to leave!

Been to many Petbarns before and been very satisfied but never going back to this one. My dog is the happiest dog ever and always gets excited to go to the groomers. But when I picked her up this time after her full grooming session she was traumatized. I wish I saw what they did behind there other than walking in and a lady was working on someone else's dog and kept pulling on a dog's paw because it obviously didn't like her trimming it and yelling at it to stop! When I picked my dog up she was in a cage ready for pick up and when I arrived she got yanked out of the cage with such little care. To top it off, the grooming was shocking. Not evenly cut at all, I had to fix it at home, she had gaps everywhere and instead of blending 2 different lengths it's just random straight lines everywhere on her neck and face, 2 of her paw's nails wasn't even clipped and the other 2 that was, may as well have been left as well because you can hardly see a difference in length from when I took her in. Also, tell me why is she limping?? She's been limping and not acting like herself at all! What did you people do to her?!? Shocking!!

I wash my two dogs at Petbarn once a month and by doing it myself I’m saving hundreds of $, thank you for the self service option Petbarn. I always order online at Petbarn and pick it up at City Farmers close to me, it’s so convenient and the pricing is always fair. The young gentleman at the counter was the best worker in the shop, he didn't know everything but he did everything he could to help me out. He was one of the most polite employees.

My nearly 1 yr old maltese was severely matted due to lack of grooming as I have been very unwell. The groomer made a nasty cut on Charlie's hind leg. He has been quite timid after the experience and not like his usual self.

A product I was looking for wasn't available. A member of the staff suggested an alternative and showed me where to find it. She also explained that, if my pets didn't like the product, I can return it for refund.

We purchased a small dog harness and wanted to exchange it for the next size up. We lost the original receipt but produced the credit card transaction. Pet Barn couldn't be bothered to look up the the details on their accounting software. They refused the exchange. This is very poor form. We wont be shopping at the store again and recommending to friends to shop elsewhere.

i was in the store a couple of weeks ago and a big puddle of animal urine was left with out a wet sign or wasnt delt with immediately due to being a safety hazard. A worker with a melot looking hair walked straight past it and ignored some people wanting help.

Booked my dog Fred in to petbarn innaloo, The usual groomers always do a fabulous job. When i dropped fred off, there was a new groomer in the salon, i think she may have done fred this time. After i specifically told the groomers not to shave to short on his groin as he can rash really bad and can get quite upset, we request a longer blade under the groin. Then find when we got home hes been shaved too short, and have become irritated. unfortunately if this didnt happen this wouldve been a 5 star review. In the future maybe ill request one of the regular groomers, as i am very happy with petbarn.

Great dog washing facilities and huge selection of pet paraphernalia

Awesome service by the team here. Had an issue with a light purchased 7 months ago and have lost the receipt. The lady looked up the receipt and replaced the light for me straight away. The beautiful kitties in there for adoption also kept us smiling for a little bit until we had to leave.

Good shop for pet stuff nice variety and value

I got my dog groomed here and I will never be going back. He’s a groodle and had bad matting around his neck and upper chest so we expected him to come back clipped short. All we asked was that the groomer save his tail and his ears. Thankfully his ears are fine however the fur on his face has been trimmed far too much and his tail is now a feather duster. They have clipped it extremely short at the bottom third of his tail, and the top two thirds are fluffy - he looks ridiculous and we are not pleased. I’ve attached pictures, one from the groom and one from a month ago. To be clear we love pet barn innaloo, just not their groomers.
