I'M REGRETTING FOR NOT READING THE REVIEW COMMENTS PRIOR TO VISITING THE MEDICAL CENTRE. Had an extreme stomach-ache and went for a consultation with Dr Catherine Liu. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE. Not sure what is she rushing for. Not to expect she know the root cause straight away but at least do more testing please instead of just giving pain killers. Any mild symptoms might bring a big issue afterwards!

It was a hopeless visit with Dr Catherine Liu and pretty sure I am not the only one mentioning her here. I was looking for a asthma management plan and she told me ‘ I don’t have time to do this’ and referred me to somewhere else.Just a 30 seconds visit and they want to charge me 79bucks.I was lucky enough to have my company paying for it. 10mins later found out she was rushing to leave work. Come on? Why didn’t you just get me another doctor at the first place?

We usually comes and see Dr Koh(who by the way is amazing doctor) but he wasn’t available. Mum had rash developing and we were worried it’ll be shingles. So we booked Dr Catherine Liu who was only available that day and I do not recommend her to ANYONE. She was not friendly at all, made a WRONG diagnose which led to make mum’s rash worse and turns out it was shingles. It now is too far for her to take any medication she only can take the painkillers. I do understand sometimes people make mistakes but her description said she studied dermatology? Wasted money and time.

Very unhelpful experience. Saw Dr Catherine Liu. No examination or look at the symptoms, told to rest up even tho the injury has already lasted 6 weeks without improvement, told to come back another time. Did a blood test and besides now being on the labs spamlist with email and phone number, never was contacted for a result. When I called told I needed another appointment with the doctor even though likely all results in normal range. As per practice policy, the results cannot be shared without appointments - another $85. What a scam. Looking at other reviews here - I should have known better. Other GPs call you once results are in, let you know if all normal or follow up required - and only charge if follow up is needed.

Worst gp ever!! Went with My mom last Saturday she Had an appointment with dr Catherine Liu, my mom has an issue with her stomach, she asked my mom to just do the urine test without telling anything and what actually happened, we asked her several questions because my mom is in pain but she doesn’t really explain , she’s super rush doesn’t listen to my mom! she told us to just wait for the results in 3 days arrogantly It’s been 2 days and my mom’s condition isn’t getting better at all, the prescription she gave is useless we paid $95 for nothing It’s disgusting If you are a professional , at least make an effort to diagnose or treat your patient If you can't do it, refer to someone who can

Don’t trust anything on their website. And the doctor (catherine liu) wouldn’t even come tell us herself, instead hid in her office behind the receptionist. But after reading the reviews I’m so glad she didn’t examine our child, i could not possibly trust her medical advice with such bad reviews. Actually surprised she is still employed here.

Worst GP ever. My appointment lasted less than 5 min (literally), the GP (Yoon Low) didn’t even ask any question, he just sent me to do an endoscopy saying that ‘he couldn’t tell what was happening’ (he didn’t even check) He was rude and I could feel I was just a number for him. $85 for a 5 min appointment that was not helpful at all. After that I went to other GP in another place, and was totally different and professional, and told me that the endoscopy was not even necessary to know what was happening. I Don’t recommend this place at all.

Would not go again. Dr Chui was rude and impatient. Felt very rushed. The doctor growled questions barely allowing me to finish before interrupting with the next, all while typing and not even looking at me. It took my partner to suggest taking my temperature for her to even do that - she took my temperature and sarcastically barked "SEE. Normal!" before kicking us out of the room with a rude stare. Do not recommend. Go elsewhere if you actually want to be spoken to and properly seen.

Doctors and nurses are good here. Receptionists are helpful and friendly. But waiting time at waiting area took much longer than I expected today. I arrived 11:45am for my 12 noon appointment with my GP. The receptionist on the right welcomed me and checked my name and DOB with me. Then I took a seat near the TV and waited for GP to call my name. At 12:19pm, I received a phonecall from Northbridge medical Centre. I walked up to the counter with my mobile phone in my hand and asked the receptionist who served me before"why are you calling me? Now, I just had a missed call from you." She did not say anything. I had many ??? question marks over my head. As I was going to sit down on a chair near the entrance, the same receptionist called my name. She checked my name and asked for my date of birth again. ?????? Why did I get a call from the medical centre at 12:19pm while I was sitting and waiting to be called by doctor inside the medical centre? I suppose the receptionist thought I didn't turn up for the appointment. Mistake by the receptionist? I waited until 12:45pm until my GP called my name. This is the longest one hour waiting time I have ever had in this clinic. Late for my next appointment. I hope this doesn't happen often here in this clinic, one hour waiting time is too long .

I had a medical issue right before Christmas and I could not get in to see my regular GP. I found Northbridge Medical which had an appointment that day and was seen within 5 minutes of my arrival. Doctor Liu was very good and attentive and I received the care I needed. I was asked to book a follow-up if not resolved, but so far I don't think I'm going to need it. Pricing was cheaper than my regular GP so I was happy about that. Thank you Dr Liu.

$85 for 5 minutes consultation!!! I Did not receive a proper answer for my condition. Dr Liu just made an assumption without performing any test. She seemed unsure. I felt rushed. She only asked me generic questions which I already answered when I made my booking. If my condition worsen or turned out to be serious, I am suing the clinic.

Well I should read the reviews before I make the appointment with Dr Catherine Liu. She seems like doesn't have the patience to explain the questions from the patient, she was a bit rude. There are so many negative reviews about her, I don't know why the clinic still keeps her there.

Worse GP ever met Dr Catherine Liu. She doesn’t even read your reports properly and very rude as well. Went to her last year regarding my side pain. Had blood tests, ultrasound, CT Scan and even colonoscopy. She said there’s nothing to worry about, all reports are normal except a tiny scar on my right kidney, which shouldn’t cause any pain. So, went back to her again early this year since I was still getting the side pains. She checked my last year’s report and said there’s nothing other than a tiny scar. I was so dumb not to know about patient portal on Perth Radiology website. Recently created one and I found out that I had 3 cysts on my right kidney which was causing me the pain. I’m never going back to her again, ever!

ZERO STARS! I had a phone consultation and when I spoke with the receptionist she was extremely rude! She spoke to me like I was a child and when I couldn’t understand her properly, she then yelled through the phone. I had to pull my phone away from my ear and it sounded like she was on speaker phone, which to clarify she wasn’t! I am very annoyed and do not recommend this place at all! I went to GP on Beaufort instead the next day and the girls there were lovely! Northbridge Medical Centre reception girls could learn a LOT from them.

The team at Northbridge Medical went above and beyond to help with our travel vaccinations. They were flexible in finding and changing appointments and everyone from the front counter, doctors and nurses were great to deal with. When we needed help to continue with a course of rabies vaccinations that had been started overseas, they spent over an hour working with Dept Health to ensure I got the right dose on the right day. They even stayed back late so I could stay on the right schedule. Just as importantly, after many injections here and overseas, the vaccinations at Northbridge Medical were the most pain free and as comfortable as can be expected. I’d highly recommend the team here and will be back for any future travel vaccinations.

DO NOT RECOMMEND DOCTOR CATHERINE LIU- YINGXIN LIU Just waste of $85 for 2 minutes consultation and it was nothing. I not have free time and money to through that way, please be take time listen to your patients, Doctors?

I am writing this on behalf of my wife who for 8 months has suffered the loss of her sense of smell and headaches associated with a sinus infection. Having seen doctors in China and here in Perth she had not resolved the problem. Dr Alex Koe communicated in Mandarin and provided a diagnosis and recommended a course of treatment that has within two weeks dramatically restored her sense of smell and almost cleared the infected sinuses, The treatment at the surgery was quick and professional and we can strongly recommend this practice.

This medical centre it's the best drs and nurses are friendly people you can eve find in Australia. They are very communication good and if you do not have money just talk to them and they will help you through your consultation. Friendly people I recommend very one if traveling to visit this medical centre for your vacation 👍👍👍👍😘😘😘😘

My partner went to a medical appointment with doctor YingXin (Catherine) Liu. She received the worst attention, the doctor's attitude was mediocre and without interest in her problem. She did not let her talk about the medication that she was taking. Doctor YingXin does not have customer service at all.

I was sceptical based on the reviews, but it seems all the negative reviews are associated with a particular practitioner. Dr Tongjia Liu was very friendly and professional, solving all my issues.

Visiting Perth from Ireland and required a medical appointment asap on Saturday. Booked with Dr. Catherine liu and couldn't be more pleased. A true professional and knowledgeable,,I was unsure booking at first after reading so many negative reviews but as it was a Saturday and northbridge medical was only place available I booked in and glad I did. Yes she is direct and assertive but I left happy and pain was managed and above all with peace of mind. I would have no issues attending Dr Liu again and also the receptionist on duty was extremely helpful and polite contrary to previous reviews. Overall I received nothing but excellent service and attention.

85$ for a 2 minute appointment with dr Liu. Not helpful at all, barely speaks english. Feels like they just want your money. Don‘t go here!

Went and saw Dr Catherine Liu the other day. She quickly diagnosed what was wrong and prescribed me on a treatment. I was sick for about a week and three days after started feeling much better. Very happy with the service.

I had to do a lab test. But they told me i need to comeback the next day since the lab was closed. I wanted to just see the gp and do the test on the same day. The receptionist said since the appointment is in less of 3 hours cancellation they will charged me $40 and paid again for another $80 appointment for the next day My appointment was late for an hour. Just to see a gp for 2 minutes. Waste of money, time. But doctor Low is amazing. He's one of the best i ever had

Got my appointment last month. One month after I realized they didn’t send me any emails about my treatment and receipt. So I called today for my documents, the receptionist said they don’t have my name in their system. I paid $120 and they don’t have my name, what a joke!

Called up and explained to reception that I probably needed stitches for a deeply cut finger. Arrived and filled out all the forms, sat around then explained again to the Doctor who said sorry we dont have a nurse and cannot help and advised going to hospital. Still charged the full $80 even after asking why reception couldn’t tell me over the phone there was no nurse to do stitches

I wished the doctor was more thorough. Not wanting to order the test as standard protocol was concerning. I had to ask for ultrasound/xray, she did but and she kept on saying it won’t change the management anyway, this is absolutely concerning for me! Won’t see this doctor again!

We had a wonderful doctor who sadly left. However have continued to go there. The 2 doctors l have seen are great. I'm always happy to go there before anywhere else

The doctor was very informative and polite regarding what vaccinations I would need for my international travels. The nurse who provided the vaccinations was very clear about what side effects I may experience and information for further support if needed. Overall, the team at this clinic were very professional and most importantly kind to me as a patient.

They charge more than everywhere else ($90 for an standard appointment) and don't want to spend more than 2 minutes on each paitient. I took my soon on a Saturday early afternoon as I had the fear that he might have sore throat and he might need an antibiotics. The doctor looked at his throat for less than a second and told me he is fine and doesn't need antibiotics. 2 hours later my son had high fever and refused to eat food as if he has sore throat.

I've been seeing Dr Koh for about 7 years for complex medical issues. He's always friendly, professional, knowledgeable and to the point. I feel like I have someone backing me through this journey; something that chronic illness sufferers don't always have. The Reception staff are also lovely.

Dr Koh is a very caring professional, my wife has dementia and he used to take care of her needs.

Pretty good set up. Staff can speak English and Mandarin. They have in-house pathology which is extremely convenient. Co payment is probably getting a little bit high. Very good all in all

I recently had to get an implant removed from my arm which I was extremely nervous about but the nurse was very friendly and made me feel at ease and comfortable. Dr Low did the procedure and was also very friendly and made me at ease. It ended up being a bit tricky as it was stuck but Dr Low spoke to me through out and even had me laughing at times. Great experience and I would highly recommend them. Also the receptionists were lovely

I have been attending Northbridge Medical Centre since they opened and always see Dr Alex Koh. He is a brilliant and outstanding Doctor and never guesses anything, plus will always refer you to a specialist if he sees the need to do so. The consultations are thorough and you never leave without your problems being thoroughly addressed and investigated. The practicing nurse is also fabulous and interested in making sure that your are comfortable and ensures the you know what injection or vaccinations are to be administered. They are a delightful practice and have recommend friends and family to the practice. Thank you for being our families health care provider.

Despite the fact we were there for travel vaccinations, it was a very pleasant experience! Dr Koh was thorough in his explanations and nurse Sophia very kind and friendly. Receptionists also helpful. Highly recommend this practice.

My first consultation because of high blood pressure. Dr. Jackie Mak has been thorough on my medical history and taken time to explain to me about high blood pressure and course of diagnosis and treatment. Definitely will come for a follow up consultation.

We are here on holiday’s from QLD & my daughter who has a medical condition needed to see a Doctor, they got her an appointment at short notice & it was a very busy Monday. The Doctor we saw was lovely & the reception staff were very friendly & helpful 😀Thanks for fitting us in 😊

Due to injuries to my foot and knee I had to go to the clinic for two weeks to have my bandages checked and changed. The doctor and nurse treated me very well, I am now completely recovered. I also got some vaccinations since I am going to take a trip to India. Super recommended!

Don't recommend this clinic at all. My first visit I paid 50$ more (125$) because it was longer that 25min. There is no information about this. Rip off. My 3rd visit was waiting more than 40min for the visit. My parking ticket expired and then lady told me there is free one for 45min next to. 3rd visit 🙁 there is no information about parking as well. I'm going to change my doctor. And don't recommend this place at all!

I went to get my Pfezzer shot on the 10th of July. There was a lady doctor asian she was very sweet and talkative to me and i didnt even feel the injection. After i finished the receptionist told me to wait for 15 minutes to be on the safe side. Very sweet doctors and very honest about their thoughts. I would definitely recommend them.

The doctors are knowledgable, kind, professional, and considerate. Wait times can vary, but 9 times out of 10 I'm seen within 10 mins of my allocated appointment. I never have any problems getting an appointment in a timely manner. The clinic is clean and staff are friendly. I've been coming here for years and will do for years to come.

Such a great medical centre with great staff members, such as the receptionists, the nurses, Dr's such as Dr Koh, Dr Singh, Dr Ananda and Dr Low and most of all the practice manager.

Very professional service. From the friendly greeting from reception staff, awesome nurses right through to the professionalism of the doctors, I am more than happy to use this clinic as my local doctor.

Go and get vaccinated. Can the doctor explain it to me in Chinese? That woman speaks English all the way and replied to me very unfriendlyly. This is Australia. Why did you come if you don't understand English? And she didn't give me any caveats and asked me to check off all the questions I didn't understand or answer before I signed and she was impatient, or did I ask her to wait outside for 15 minutes?

Dr Low was professional doctor, who was patient and nice. He can speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. If you are waiting for Lab results , staffs would sent a message let you know, no need to waste time on missed call. The clinic was 40 kilometres away from my home which worth the time to see the doctor. The front desk staffs were friendly and helpful.

Dr Tongjia Liu is one of the best GP's I have ever come across. He is considerate and kindhearted, conducts thorough testing and provides detailed explanations in a manner that can be easily understood. I appreciate his professionalism.

Dr Yoon Low, extremely incompetent! Couldn't even write out a simple imaging request to Perth radiology clinic! No where near satisfactory!

Not sure why this practice offers telehealth until late when they will cancel on you , even when it has been booked for urgent care for a child. Perhaps don't offer the service if you can't manage. Thanks for wasting an my time when I could have found another practice, ended up in PCH for advice that any GP could have offered.

I took my mother to see Doctor YingXin (Catherine) Liu. The doctor was very rude and didn't have any human skills when dealing with a patient that is going through psychological problems. On top of that, my mother is going back to Brazil and we're requesting the medical records from the clinic so she can present them to the doctors overseas so they can have the context needed to keep her treatment. The clinic and the doctor are refusing to send the medical records. This is a privacy right my mother has and they have by law to comply and refuse to do so.

One of the worst experiences in my life when it comes to medical practice. Had my family here to get vaccines for international travel for over an hour backing and forthing with chemist, only to be told there was 3/4 of the vaccines unavailable only to be smacked with a HUGE BILL 🤷‍♂️ Unwelcoming, cold, unorganised and unprofessional. Never again.

For $85 the doctor there are a joke ! 😂.. one in particular (Dr. Dominic)! Writing DIFFLAM on a piece of paper ON A SCRAP PAPER!, Instead of prescribe me something for the pain on my Jaw, left ear and throat. Ha!

They muddled up my appointment Put me with the wrong doctor I'm a male they put me with a female dr liu for a body check when the doctor approached me I was in shock so I refused to go in the room I have a very important issue and I'm fifo and I fly out the next day all I got is she is now refusing to see me and we have no appointments available even tho when I call the reception yesterday I told the lady on the phone only one of of my previous doctors incompetent staff Not only did they book me for the wrong doctor they couldn't resolve the issue they doctor has bad attitude and isn't understanding

Very revolving door GP... I had been sick for about a week, paid $85 to list off symptoms. Rather then getting down to brass tacks and seeing what was causing the problem, she just mindlessly agrees then throws a bunch of medication at the wall and see what sticks. Have some awful mouth ulcers that have been keeping me from eating, prescribes me an over the counter mouthwash Aspirin I can get anywhere which was no where near quick enough. Had to buy a gel version which worked way quicker and provided with me huge relief, effectively doing her job as a Doctor better... Also had a bad cough (not COVID) that would not stop, clearly affecting my sanity. She prescribed me some specific cough syrup which was discontinued in Australia, so I had no choice but to get the standard one because of how sick I was, some antibiotics and fingers crossed... no follow up. Going to another clinic for a second opinion. My job makes it difficult to book a morning appointment, I should have read the reviews. Isn't the Hippocratic Oath a thing?

My frequent visits to this medical center are always a positive experience. The staff are exceptionally lovely and polite, consistently providing a very personalised service. Their attention to detail and genuine care make each visit comfortable and reassuring. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-quality medical care.

I basically needed my ears to be syringed 2-3hours before a Work Medical because I had previously failed my hearing test due to my ears being heavily blocked. I used the health Engine app, found this practice on the app booked me an appointment. He was so considerate to get one of his nurses on demand to come in and syringe my ears out and unblock my ears, 🙏😊 she used some fancy tech new machine to do it and it wasn't like every other place that blows and pumps cold water into your ears to get it unblocked with there oldskool ear ringing gadgets. 😄 After getting my ears unblocked I got to have a great chat to doctor Yoon, he's so caring kind and just the best! Had a mini counselling session as well due to mental health reasons and being a fifo worker oh so helpful, nothing but good vibes and felt very positive about life after leaving! Ty Dr Yoon! Also want to add the receptionists we're all so lovely too to not turn me away! If your reading this thank you so much for your help! Sorry for the novel.. This is now my new GP Dr Yoon your the best bro keep up the great work! Also to your helpful staff as well.. Definitely recommend this practice 5stars! I also got the Job too after completing my hearing testing again Thank you so much guys! 😊🙏😊
