We have always wanted to try GYG on our trip to Australia. I had heard they make food without additives, and still have fresh, great tasting Mexican food. I can, seriously, eat this every day ! The service here at Belmont was exceptional. We were seated and served quickly, even inspite of the restaurant being busy with take away orders. The Food, the ambiance and the vibe is all very good.

Staff here were very accommodating to our special dietary requirements and went out of their way to do what they could for us. Store/restaurant was very clean and tidy and prompt service. You can either sit inside or outside with both having tables and chairs or breakfast bar style with bar stools. Also plenty of staff there so no long waits.

Spice level is never consistent. One day it’s mild, the next time it’s too hot. Ingredients are just slopped on, no care taken by staff. However, when it’s good, the food is tasty and fresh.

Everytime I order from here the service is quick. The customer service is amazing. The food is always prepared so we'll. It's always so tasty and fresh. I think I phone the restaurant everytime I order to say how good it was. Keep doing what your doing.

I can’t believe it. Customer service is good but food is 0/10. Ordered nachos and gave me almost nothing in my order. Little bit of chips small serving of beef even a kid won’t get full on that. Not sure if the owner is trying to save money or what. I definitely will email head office and send them the pictures. Day light robbery.

Made my first visit just now for a quick bite and it turned out to be fairly good :) Service was reasonably nice, the food was also of a good quality, and the surroundings were tidy and beautiful. Regular-sized cheese fries were only $6 so I'd say it was quite inexpensive. Be careful if you're never a fan of coriander cuz I accidently had it in my fries without notice. Other than that, everything was fine. Cheers.

Food is great, nice to takeaway. Dined in once, and a mouse started eyeing off our food. Some poor girl had to come and take it away. They were nice enough to give our friends a discount and a food voucher for next time.

Terrible. Ordered quesadillas and nachos, ordered with the lot, ordered both fresh at the store. Arrive home, both cold, no sour cream or cheese on nachos, little sauce. How bad is it that you have to add your own sour cream and cheese at home? Most disappointing food experience of anywhere yet. Will definitely never ever be ordering from here again! Feels like a slap in the face after paying good money. These people just don't know how to make decent food.

Waited 20 minutes for a burrito and nachos whist the 7 staff talked instead if cooked. Opened up my food when i got home and was pleased to see my mini nachos was half full. Not to mention 3 other people ordered after me and got their food before me? I didnt pay almost $30 for a 20 minute wait and bad food

The food has been pretty good,however lately there plain chips are extremely salty thus ruining the whole meal. I have ordered nacho fries 3 consecutive times at different day, and they have all been disappointing.

The service I received today at 5:00pm 3/11 made me smile so big! The ladies here this afternoon were so lovely and let me try both frozen cocktails in one- both were so yummy on a hot day and a good combo! But more importantly, an older gentleman came in that was clearly having a hard time or didn’t have a way to pay and the lovely employee spoke in a quiet, discreet manner to him and gave him some chips anyways. Honestly it was such a special thing to watch and I think management should be so proud to have such kind hearted people working here. :-) There’s always something we can do for each other to help someone out and you never realize the impacts it can have on someone’s day.

Awesome Staff… Girl at counter was sweet, friendly and charming.Looks like she enjoys her job. Was my first visit but not last. Kudos to team and keep this charm in your business. However, I was missing guacamole from vegetarian bowl. Without Guacamole I can’t imagine my Bowl. Only this was the reason i bought GYG.Checked at home so Couldn’t back drive to store as its 15 minutes drive. I ended eating up without enjoying it.

A beautiful establishment! Me and a special friend came in for a quick meal and was delicious, we were super well looked after, especially by the lovely lady who served us. Playlist also had us tappin our feet under the table! Will definitely back soon!

Our server was amazing it was the young lady with glasses at 3:40 on Monday the 7th of November. She was amazing at helping out with my father who made it super challenging. Super happy

Tried to order on line, but app said they were closed and it wasn't even 21.00 has. When I arrived at the shop, I told Mihir about the app malfunction and he was pleased that I told him...which showed by the way he gave me my extra coriander in 2 large containers. Thank you Mihir and GYG

First time I tried GYG. The service staff at the counter was excellent. The food arrived very quick as well. But then began all our disappointments. We had ordered 3 x tacos plus Burrito large meals, totalling $40 for 2 people. The portion sizes were so tiny for everything. Large fries were just a cup full. Tacos were tiny, snack sizes. Burrito size wasn't bad but it was just filled with rice. For a $14 burrito the amount of chicken in it was abysmal. Mexican flavours were nice, so overall no complaints with taste, service or quality. But the portion sizes left us hungry for more and disappointed. Felt like a rip off, especially if you know how to make some mexican food at home, this will absolutely feel like a super expensive failed experiment.

Had a Bowl with fries and a pop. Food was ok. A bit colorless. Would have loved some lettuce, cucumber or something fresh. It was rice, meat, beans and cheese and a few tomatoes. Fries were too salty, pop was small. Expected a bit more for the price. Atmosphere was nice, music a bit too loud for my taste, but a nice location and friendly staff. If you are into mexican food, I would recommend this place.

Quite disappointed with the cheese quesadilla, the main thing which upset me is the WORST customer service, i came, ordered and paid when there was no other customers in store, another person who came and ordered after a while got his food before I did. I only received my order when i asked + ridiculous and unfriendly attitude from the staff.

I ordered chicken nachos as it’s clearly labelled and got beef instead. Apparently, there’s not much difference in beef and chicken anymore. I planned to go somewhere else, and my friend convinced me to go to Gyg. But thanks for reminding me why I haven’t been there in a while. Edit: I had already emailed the same day (9/10) on the mentioned email, but yet to receive a response.

Constantly getting our orders wrong, food is just chucked together. Their microphone doesn't work properly, but even when we confirm the order at the window, they still get things completely wrong. I ordered a nacho fries with no meat (because they got rid of the shredded mushrooms) and they forgot the sour cream, so I basically got an overpriced queso fries with guacamole. And found a bone in it. I usually love GYG, but this particular one is absolutely terrible. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

It's a bit of a roll of the dice eating here, depending on who makes your food sometimes it's really generous portion and sometimes quite sparse. Would rate this over the Ascot location. Some of the staff are a bit brain dead but most are friendly.

Worst food quality, worst service. I ordered 3 piece chicken tender, a large chips with sauce. When I open the pack at home, found only 2 chicken tender ( size smaller than my 10 years old daughter's pinky fi ger) and no sauce. After waiting long time, this kind of service is unexpected.

I don’t like to write a bad review but this is my honest opinion. I ordered a burrito and a bowl with a meal. They didn’t gave a chips by mistake and the quantity was very less in bowl and burrito. Quantity was even less than half.

One of the best places I have visited. The food was fresh, tasty and just overall incredible. The customer service was top shelf service. Thanks Gemma!. Lots of choices from burritos, tacos to bowls. I enjoyed the seared barramundi bowl and was impressed. All fresh ingredients and presented beautifully for take away. The chips have the tastiest seasoning and were so crunchy. The chips and drink combo is good value. The customer service was super impressive. Gemma is a natural. Very warm and welcoming. Gemma was super efficient and handled the huge lines like an absolute professional. The best customer service I've ever experienced. I will be back to this place. Great food and amazing customer service.

I don't know her name. But there is a young woman there who is extremely bubbly and knows how to cater to her customers. I remember she once said she lives a forty minute drive from this establishment, so I hope managers can identify her through that detail! It had been my first time visiting. She was extremely kind to my friends and I. This lady knows how to talk to people. The other employees are nice... Although one girl wasn't exactly employee of the month. She came off as bored and annoyed?? It made me feel worthless standing in front of her. But I'll put that aside. Because the lady I was describing earlier really made this outlet a great experience for me. I don't think she remembers my face though, I've come in a couple of times and she hasn't seemed to recognise me. But that's fine! It's hard to remember faces sometimes haha. I work in hospitality and will not remember a customer even if I've served them three times in the past. Regarding food, it is always flawless. And prices are amazing too. I will forever come back to this establishment. It is much better than Zambreos!! One hundred times better. Thank you for the experiences I've had there.

Always used to visit this place for great food, but today serving was pretty bad. Charged for regular sized Nachos but serving size was even less than the small size. Really disappointed and will probably try another outlet but not this one

I just ordered 3 hard shell tacos, beef, barramundi and chicken. They were the WORST tacos I've ever eaten in my life!! And I love Mexican.. Poor grade meat, ridiculously over salted, slapped together with a scrap of lettuce and flavourless cheese. Gross.

Great food and clean restaurant

We don't go out very often so we're very careful with the places we go to. We decided to come here and give it a go. I ordered the burrito bowl with spicy chicken with the Guac and sour cream. My wife ordered the enchilada with ground beef. Sat at our table. Table was dirty. When the food got delivered the waitress didn't even offer to clean it. Food came to our table in reasonable time (15min) as there were only a couple of people in the restaurant. Mine came out. I checked it. No Guac. No sour cream. Had to go up to the counter and ask for it. My wife started eating hers and realised it was pulled meat. Asked the waitress what's going on. She says. "Oh they didn't have ground beef". Ahh ok. So they didn't even ask if that was ok. Just served it and hoped we wouldn't notice or mind. She asked my wife if she wanted something else but at this point we were like, nah, we just want to eat together and not have to wait another 15 min. Come on. Honestly. How do you get so much wrong with hardly anyone in the restaurant? Food was ok but we won't be going back!

Ordered brown rice, was given white rice even though I asked again if it was brown rice when it was handed to us. Considering the restaurant was empty it shouldn't have been too hard.

I always get tacos from here for lunch. Absolutely delicious.

Good food, but not a good experience ordering. The staff continually tried to cut me off and charge me for my order before I'd finished placing my order. The menu above the counter doesn't list the salsas and the staff don't ask what salsas you want. I struggle to see why they have a seperate kitchen instead of doing it like other burrito places do where they make it in front of you and let you pick what you want as they assemble it.

Guzzy gomez Belmont is great. The staff are friendly and they provide some of the only take away food I can eat on my strict and healthy diet. I'm always happy ordering from here 😊
