First time visited this place last Sunday night, overall the environment and the staffs are very nice and friendly. My partner and I shared a spaghetti marinara, Contadina pizza, and a pork ribs. The meat on the pork ribs falling apart and well seasoned, the pizza was great with a lovely pizza base. But we both a bit confused about the spaghetti marinara... For 34 dollars, we couldn't actually found much of the seafood in it and the spaghetti itself was over cooked and broke into a very short piece easily. To me, it is more like a ... Stew. Thank god, before we lost our interest in this place. The desserts saved everything, we ordered tiramisu and warm donuts. I have to say the caramel sauce for the donuts is the best caramel ever! And the donuts were fresh made, we would come back again just for the pizza and the desserts :)

Fantastic food and wonderful service Walked past about 4.30 and asked if they were dog friendly for future reference. We were promptly greeted by a friendly member of staff and owner/manager who said of course so we decided to book in for hour later. We later found out the manager was also scared of dogs so much appreciated that he still accommodated. We sat down at 5.30 after being greeted by all the friendly staff and asked if we wanted a drink which included a free antipasto if ordered before 6pm which was a fantastic touch We ordered the porchetta, ribs, fillet steak and Pepperoni pizza which once the starters arrived we fast realised was too much food after seeing the generous portion sizes Every item of food was sublime couldn't fault a dish and the meat was cooked exceptionally- so tender. We dealt with 4 or 5 staff members all who were wonderfully down to earth and friendly. Was such a pleasure to eat in a place so well taken care off that accommodated the dog, gave us great service and had food to match. The waitress at the end advised that the restaurant name means neighbourhood local and we can 100% agree its going to be a new local favourite restaurant for excellent fine dining Italian food

Enjoyed a wonderful night at Locale sharing tapas and wine (Chianti) with friends. The meatballs and salted cod croquettes were my favourites, and the deserts were amazing and very generous in portions. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Service was prompt and friendly. I look forward to taking other friends back soon. Bellissimo

It was an amazing experience from service to food. I would give them 6 stars if I could. The service was excellent, servers were extremely attentive, friendly and warm. Service staff being warm is very important which many restaurants lack, this will bring customers back. Food was heavenly, everything was so good and eating the pizza brought me so much joy - I waved at the chef and gestured two thumbs up and he smiled. Ordered chips with aioli, hot tapas which was an octopus with artichoke sauce (amazing!! if you like octopus), Primo Amore pizza (absolutely delicious), mushroom pasta (can’t recall the name of the dish, so good), the lychee cocktail is excellent. Finally the desserts - freshly fried donuts with salted caramel and mango panna cotta was really the highlight to end off the meal. They were insanely good especially the donuts. Well done and I will be coming back for more :)

We had finished playing music at The Guildford (7pm) and decided to get something to eat as we were famished. We were able to get a table seeing as though we hadn’t booked, ordered a couple of delicious red wines and both of us had spaghetti marinara. It wasn’t the best that we have had but nonetheless we were hungry. Went to pay and the friendly staff member that greeted us kindly asked , “how was everything “, so we answered her question. We felt that the meal was too salty and lacked spice. We were happy to pay for what we had and go ( not looking for a discount at all), however the employee showed empathy and decided she would talk to management/supervisor to see what could be arranged. We encountered a rude and blunt manager ( I think). She said “ well I just cleared your table and you’ve clearly finished your meals” ( which at that stage we reiterated that we were asked how our meals were and we were simply giving our feedback). The manger then spoke to the employee explaining that nothing could be done. We paid the bill and left and we will never be back!! We have worked in hospitality for a long time ourselves and this certainly could have been dealt with in a totally different manner which would/could have resulted in us returning. Something to think about for future reference. We have since been contacted by management in which the situation was handled professionally and promptly and was very much appreciated

We called last minute to ask for a table of 6 and Alessio, I presume the manager, was so kind to accommodate us during a busy Saturday night. Service was excellent, our waiter Vincenzo, was fabulous, attentive and helped us to tailored the food for our needs. We ordered limoncello Spritz that was balanced very well and the bottle of wine from Italy well worth for. The entrees were divine and superb from a wide range we got my 3 favorite were: octopus, the salumi board and the baccalà fritto. After the amazing tapas experience, some of our mains were not good as the entrees unfortunately. We didn’t find much flavor in the marinara pasta and the pork belly wasn’t balanced enough with the apple sauce. Pizza was great though. At the end we enjoyed the experience overall and definitely will be back!

The staff were so friendly but I wasn't fully satisfied with the flavour of the dishes. I ordered the cheese pizza from the kids menu along with the seafood marinara pasta. I didn't realise that my friend order margherita pizza which is basically the cheese pizza!!! The portion of the pasta was good but not much special about the flavour. The taste was like some frozen seafood marinara mix tossed in white wine with spaghetti. I reckon this place was a bit overrated. I cannot believe I paid $18 for the dessert and the ice cream for $14. Overpriced!

This restaurant is like a slice of home. The waitstaff are all so friendly and chatty, even happy to converse in Italian. I've been twice now with my father and even with how chatty he is, they always have the time to carry a conversation and make his night. In terms of the food, everything was cooked to perfection. All of the seasoning was spot on and came in very good portions. Maybe it's a bit pricey, but that doesn't mean it's overpriced, I think you definitely get what you're paying for. Amazing hospitality is part of what you're paying for, as it heightens the meal by so much along with the authenticity. The experience, the food and the drinks all come together to form a perfect night out at Locale Mio. I'd love to come again, I think it's a great place for birthday dinners, anniversaries or even just after work drinks. If i could give it more than 5 stars, I would 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Just....... WOW! Drive past this restaurant all the time and it is always bustling. Thought we’d give it a try last night and ordered some takeaway. BEST spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried many). So full of flavour and loved the zucchini patties. The lady who took our order over the phone was friendly and efficient. Overall, a fantastic, satisfying and enjoyable experience. Will definitely be back for more.

Food is very good. Pizza Suprema and Risotto Marinara were great. Agnello tender and juicy with a touch of gameyness. Wait staff were rather focused preparing for dinner reservations, not so much on diners already present. But overall service is good.

Great food and amazing atmosphere. The Locale Mio is an amazing restraunt. The Arancini Balls were perfect. They were nice and crunchy, light and not stodgy. The cheese (White stuff inside) went perfectly with the mushroom and the rice. The Scallops were cooked to perfection, the toppings went nicely with the scallops as well. The squid was amazing. The sauce went well with the squid as well as the vegetables. The Spaghetti e Polpette was amazing. The sauce and the meatballs tasted amazing. Mushroom Pappadella was excellent, the sauce was excellent on this one as well. The pizza was amazing. We got the one with potato, BBQ sauce, chicken and tomato sauce. The base was sort of floppy so the toppings did fall off, however, the crust and the pizza overall was amazing. O highly recommend you visit Locale Mio.

Prompt service and very good customer service. They will explain whats in the menu. Reservation is a must, they are always fully booked. Food is amazing. We order Suprema Pizza, Rigattoni and Arancini (must try). Menu are mostly pasta, tapas (options:hot,cold & fried). Kids menu available. The place has no playground. Desserts: heaps of option and my son order Affogato (without alcohol) and he loves it. Drinks:Cocktails,mocktails beer and wines. Coffee available. Free Parking

Three of us had dinner at Locale Mio last night, and it was a great experience! Very welcoming and very attentive. We ordered a few tapas to share, and it was well-seasoned with decent portion. Will definitely return! :)

1st visit here. We chose 3 main dishes, the pork ribs, pizza and seafood marinara then tiramisu and the little donuts for dessert. The biggest let down was the seafood marinara, unfortunately it's something I would expect from a frozen meal. I would travel to a place in South Perth next time for that. Everything else was great no complaints what so ever. The only reason for 4 stars. EDIT 25/05/2022 - For $35 I would have expeced more.

Amazing food, great ambiance, lovely staff and friendly service, interesting lift to toilet. Do make a reservation before heading there to avoid disappointment. The fish is fantastic, risotto is really good too, my friends love the lamb racks, but we all agree that the pizza was a little disappointing.

Locale Mio was booked on a whim to try a new restaurant. We were greeted warmly showed our seat promptly. All the staff were excellent with their own personal touch. The food was all handmade and absolutely incredible. Truffle pasta the winner. Can't wait to go back and bring a big group, the staff would cater well here.

My fiancé and I enjoyed a lovely impromptu dinner date here last friday night, this was our first ever visit to Locale Mio and it most definitely wont be our last. From the Mango Daquiris to the out of this world Dessert Donuts there is absolutely nothing that we didn't enjoy. We were served by the most pleasant waitress and noticed that all wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Locale Mio has a gorgeous bar and simple décor that creates a relaxed ambience, the tables are nicely separated and they have the most comfy chairs which really makes going out for a meal extra enjoyable. The Fritto Misto was a stand out entrée for us. We then tried items from the excellent 'Hot Tapas' Menu, the Eggplant Parmigiana was the best I've ever had, the Mussels (Cozze) were so super fresh and tasty, along with the soft and juicy Pork Ribs (Costine di Maiale), just amazing! We finished our experience with the most delicious and decadent Tiramisu and the Zeppola Caramello (Warm donuts served with salted caramel sauce), I would come back for these alone! Heavenly.

I've been to 'My Local' a few times now, and each time its been excellent. The service is friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the restaurant itself is cutely decked out. The food is always delicious. Their sliced steak tastes like my nonna in Italy used to cook for me when I was little. The best food always evokes fond memories. Great work guys, keep it up. :)

Food here is really good. We went for valentines day with a set menu, everything was superbly prepared with fresh quality ingredients. Will be back again.

It was our first take away dinner from Locale Mio and the first time since lockdown that this amazing place had been opened. The guys haven’t missed a beat! Amazing atmosphere and welcoming staff make you feel like you’re walking into Nona and Nono’s home. I can’t wait to come back and actually have a table service dinner. The pizza (Capricciosa) is legitimately one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten outside of Italy. Fresh and tasty Gnocchi is always a win too. Grazie staff and welcome back! We’ve missed you. Definitely our new Locale Mio, more than 5 stars worthy.

I didn’t love this place, prices are expensive and food is average. $24 for a small bowl of pasta that was nice but nothing special. Don’t get the squid it’s deep fried black (I’m not sure what the batter was) looked terrible and tasted poor. Service was ok and venue nice with lots of parking.

We were six people, and ordered their $50 per person taster plate, which came had both a vegetarian and a meaty incarnation. I think you got to try about 10 tapas and starters and pizza etc. Awesome food! The owner, Salvatore, has assembled cooks that really understand Italian food. I will be going back for more!

Stopped in on the way back from the Swan Valley. Very pleasantly surprised by this Italian located behind the Guilford Hotel. Staff were super helpful and the food was really good. Prices were very reasonable so 5 stars given.
