Great spot to view the city lights at night and grab some food and drinks.

We were in the area since we stopped by Gelare for an afternoon sugar pick me up. We ended dup walking around the foreshore area as well since the giant animal like shelter caught my eye. There are a few of these interesting animal statues scattered around the area. The frilled neck lizard is also visible from the other side of the river and fairly easy to spot. It is well worth the visit to to try and spot these things. There is also a nice grassy area nearby to relax on as well as a small playground. It also has nice views of the city.

A beautiful spot with open and wide green area , playground, cafes, walking and cycling tracks, jetty to the city. The lovely art works on the shore are the bonus.

Now officially named Mindeerup Piazza. Inviting riverside space with heaps of seating, a great view of the city, and various sized sculptures of animals. Will no doubt be a popular meeting place, selfie location, and a great spot to enjoy a lunch or coffee break. A very nice gateway to South Perth and the zoo from the ferry. Wish it had a little more shade for hot summer days though.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been too South Perth Foreshore & was taken by the upgrade & new installations. Especially all the lights.

Nice place for a walk to enjoy the perfect city view.

I like the area with its decor and all, but god the number of smokers here are astonishingly many. Literally smoking next to the playground. Throwing cigarette butts into the river. No good.

Situated at CBD, on edge of swan 🦢 lake, it's a tourist attractions center and city' s family night out, sorounded by a lot of eating places hotels etc , beautiful landscape walking tracks lighting attracts tourists to visit this place repeatly

Beautiful view on the city from there. Has is a little playground and plenty of shade (both trees and sails). The spot is conveniently located next to a coffee place so you can enjoy a drink while the kids are having fun. Has two slides and two swings including one with a safety belt perfect for toddlers. Too bad the swings' area is not sheltered from the sun though.
