I have been to Smales three times now, the first time i went there the experience was simply magical. I came there without a appointment but Rosina treated me very well and to my delightful surprise Smales had Rolex models to show me. I tried on a Submariner i saw on display and then Rosina brought out a Daytona everose gold chocolate dial and i was stunned to see a Daytona in real life especially with the chocolate dial, my eyes couldn't look away as i was in disbelief, i even thought it was a dream at one point, when i put it on it fit perfectly and i jokingly said when it fits you must buy it but sadly the watch was already spoken for, after seeing the Daytona, i thought nothing next i could see would come close but then Rosina took out a yacht master 40 platinum dial and i was looking at it for awhile because before coming to the store i did some research to get a idea of what Rolex watch i would want. I looked at all the category of watches besides the yacht master because i saw the yacht master 2 and it didn't look like something i would wear so i didn't even bother clicking that was my mistake after that i left the store to think. A month later was the second time that i went to the store. I came at a later time and unfortunately Rosina wasn't there but i came back the next day to put my name down for a yacht master 40 everose gold chocolate dial. Its all thanks to Rosina that i found out about the yacht master, i love everything about it from the two tone everose gold, chocolate dial to the red writing of yacht master (red is my favourite colour) so now its time to cross my fingers and wait patiently for the call to get my dream watch.

What can I say.....Dina. you did everything in your power to make my rings custom to me. You were patient when I came In to have my 2 bands custom made. My now wonderful husband did an amazing job in choosing the engagement ring from Smales Karratha but I was fussy with the bands. After much discussion Dina designed the 2 bands (was meant to get married in Perth and Bali), had to change to December 2020 due to COVID but yay still got 2 bands. Love your work Dina and thank you again.

First off, this is an email address from when I made contemporary jewellery.. I don’t think it makes me superior, I just think that from all of my experience from working with the public outside of my jewellery making life, I might have some insight… Seemingly Smales is the place to go for high end watches, which is fantastic, but for anything other than diamonds or your most generic of precious stones, don’t expect a wide range of product knowledge from some of the staff. I felt as though someone from accounting came and served me as no one else was available. Admittedly I was after an on sale ring which had probably been sold long before the website was updated, but a simple phone call would have put me out of my anticipatory misery and saved my from speaking with rather inept staff lacking a clue. I’m now looking elsewhere.

Bought a Rolex, took it overseas to verify and found out it's a faulty product. The removed links had a screw missing. And upon removing the links, the original bracelet was being tighten so hard, the bracelet could hardly bend smoothly. Disgusting service with pushy sales staff. Worst AD to recommend.

After having visited three other prominent jewellers to repair a very precious bracelet they assured me to come and get it assessed. They said they could repair it. The assistant wasn’t at all convincing, she was so unprofessional i literally ran out of the premises never to return

Dropped off a ring into Smales today to get re-sized; it was about 6 sizes too big and had engravement smack bang in the middle inside so this was a bit of a tricky job. The team at Smales were super friendly and extremely prompt, they managed to not mess up the engravement and get this all done for me before lunch time on the same day! So grateful and happy with the end result. There's nothing worse than waiting for a piece of jewelry to arrive to you and then waiting again if there's something that needs to be done to it. The mark of a business is how they deal with customers when things don’t quite go as planned. I quickly found a fault on a purchased item, it wasn’t noticed at the time of purchase. I returned to the store as soon as I could. The staff were excellent and solved my problem in a few minutes, walking out with a new replacement item. No argument or drama. I would not hesitate to purchase again from Smales. Great service.

I walked into Smales about 3 weeks ago and was greeted by Rosina. I was enquiring on a Swiss watch which I always wanted for the last decade but was waiting for the right time but hey, it’s always a right time to own a Swiss legendary premium watch. I have heard about Grand Seiko but never really got into any details and Rosina was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant and showed me all the different Grand Seiko. We spent about 2 hours talking about how it works, the history etc. I left without purchasing anything as I felt I need to do further research on it. It’s a watch which will be staying with me forever and I will need to know every detail and history behind it. Rosina wasn’t pushy at all and said ‘I will definitely see you soon because everyone who went away to do their research came back to purchase the Grand Seiko’. Every night since that day, I have been googling, comparing and reading all their history and their premium workmanship. If you love watches, a spring drive is something you must have! Yesterday, I went to Smales, Rosina had a big smile on her face and said ‘i knew you would come back’ - that shows her professionalism and certainly a true salesperson as she would have met many customers since than but she remembered me!! I have acquired a new Rolex Sub from overseas AD and wanted the bracelet to be adjusted. I called Smales yest Monday if they can do it for me since they are an official Rolex AD. This guy answered and he said cant do it today but FRIDAY! Its only Monday and I have to wait 5days just for bracelet adjustment! LOL Called Kennedys instead and did it for me on the same day with FREE DRINKS! Smales is a joke! Maybe I should report them to Rolex!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Rosina at Smales. I purchased a Rolex for my husband's 40th birthday which he had always wanted. Rosina and I arranged between us that if i got him into the store she would get him to try it on, thinking that it had already been sold, and then got him to read the name on the tag of who it was sold to ... at which point he realised it was his!!!!
