Nice beach , great option for food and drinks. Enough parking . Playgrounds for kids and good area for picnics. Toilettes and change rooms are there as well. Easy to reach from Perth busport

My favourite beach, day and night. The new eateries and amenities are fantastic. I miss the old little kiosk where i used to get my kids ice cream and lollies years ago. BBQ facilities super too.

Have been going there for a while. It can be peaceful but not really when there is a lot of people. (Obviously). Overall it is a great beach with great views.

Nice restaurant by the City Beach. Food were terrific with a nice sea view, fine white sand, and busking in the sunshine.

I went to visit city beach and spent couple of hours there. It is a very busy spot for summer barbecues and surfing, with its fine sand and strong waves. Heaps of people were enjoying BBQs, kids playgrounds, people of beach and heaps of people were surfing. Open-air cafes and there are quite few points that allow you to overlook the Indian Ocean from a striking modern complex centred on the landmark, ship-shaped City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club. Remember if you are going with kids, it’s quite hot place and you need heaps of water with sun protection. Overall 5 star experience.

Great Place for amazig sunsets, bit/ and not only the sunset can brings you relax and joy. Waves crushes the rocks, and the most beautiful panorama of the Indian Ocean with a view on the Scarborough beach and of course on the famouse Rottnest Island❤. Ah, and Eh, what a lifestyle! There is nothing like, Western Australia

Lovely beach, great facilities

Wonderful beach with beautiful soft sand. A gentle breeze and the warm sun glowing down on the body as we ate fish and chips. A lovely spot to eat food and drink to the hearts content. A wonderful occasion to celebrate those around you or having a quiet moment to oneself. Great restaurants around too and an hourly bus that runs on the hour every hour.

Rough sea if one is not a strong swimmer, but ideal for surfers. Great family picnic area... and easy parking.

Nice place to visit late in the afternoon, parking is a bit hard to come by but managed to get to get one. The tower lights were helpful getting later into the afternoon and early evening.

This beach has so many to offer! white soft sand beach, clear water, good view with some people playing some water sports, outdoor shower, fountain water, toilets, playing ground, restaurants. It is also located near the bold park where you can have a 5 km bush walk.

It is utterly exquisite. Famed for its sunsets and rightly so. Half of Perth seemed to be there that evening but still all the space and time in the world.

City beach is straight up the best metro beach in Perth, and if Cott was overwhelmingly voted the best metro beach in Australia in a Guardian poll a couple of years ago, even though it was the only metro beach from Perth on the list, then by default City Beach is the best metro beach in Australia 🙌

Great beach...

I liked the dual prospect of the City Beach. First, the long beautiful sandy beach is a fantastic place to amble down or to relax. It's a perfect place for those who simply love to bask in the sun with their loved ones over a cup of drink. Secondly, it is also a perfect beach for those who love to ski or surf in the sea. The lush green turf along the coastal pathway was also an attraction for me.

This is one of the best seashore in Australia, within city, less than 40 min drive. Cool, calm, pleasant and decent. You always have your own space here for peace, love, fun, food, surf....

If you're looking for uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean, then this is an ideal beach. Great for young kids. I was surprised how quickly I could find parking on a Saturday peak summer lunchtime.
