Lots of great food, fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, spices, dried fruit and nuts, clothing, cosmetics and soaps, accessories, arts and crafts, odds-and-ends, toys and memorabilia stalls and a good variety of ice-cream, coffee, tea eateries including a Crepes outlet. The market has a great atmosphere and is definitely worth a visit.

Great beach to enjoy with the kids. We find the mornings to be the best. And there is a kiosk to grab a quick snack afterwards.

Incredible Autumn weather for a start. There are two very fun playgrounds. One on the north side and one on the south side. The north side playground is full of fun things to do. Three different slides, water play, balance beams, rocks to climb over. There are picnic shelters near both playgrounds or heaps of lush green grass to picnic or play on. With the view of the ocean too. And then if you have time and energy after playgrounds then head down to the beach!!

Love this beach. Great Park with a playground. Coffee shop, pub, fish and chips and breakfast kiosk across the road. Restaurant and kiosk at the beach. Surf is not high but can be rough and foamy. Swimmers went out beyond the breakers. Outdoor and indoor showers with toilets too.

Lovely sandy beach onto which the Indian Ocean waves crash. Lie in the sun until the wind rises and sandblasts you , have a swim or ride the waves , then plenty of places for a snack.

It's a natural beauty, clean, even when busy it's never too overcrowded. It has toilet/shower facilities, it's close to cafes, bar, fish n chip restaurant so options to eat then beach are there. Lifeguards on duty during peak season. A day spent there is like being on holiday bur only 20 mins from home.

Beautiful golden sand beach to walking, with lifeguard and 🏳 flags for swimmers directly at the entrance from the carpark. Footpath is great for strolling along and cafe connected to lifeguards building along the beach has nice ☕ coffee. Have to say Perth has the best beaches in Australia

Mullaloo beach and foreshore is my local goto place. There are a range of coffee shops and eateries. You can choose from a takeaway where you can take your drink of choice together with a sweet or savoury snack and wander down to the beach, or you can sit down in a choice of restaurants and tuck into something a bit more substantial. Alternatively, if you want to pull all the stops out there is always the hotel restaurant for awesome sunset views whilst sipping cocktails. The beach itself is clean, safe and dog free making it the perfect spot for families. Life guards are on duty at weekends, public holidays and other busy periods. The fine white sand that Western Australia is so famous for is regularly raked and cleaned and stretches for miles in both directions. The crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean make swimming or just chilling in the breaking waves an absolute delight. The foreshore has everything for the family day out. Two playgrounds aimed at different age ranges, A couple of basket ball hoops encourage you to exercise off some of the delicious food that you've cooked on the electric bbqs that are free to use and that are scattered around the vast grass area. You can either bring your picnic rug, table and chairs or use one of the many sheltered picnic stations that adorn the area. There is plenty of free parking available and whilst dogs are not permitted there is a animal exercise beach a few kilometres south. A dual use (bike & Pedestrian) pathway runs through the park and continues into the dunes in both directions giving you a perfect opportunity to take a leisurely stroll during your stay. There are public amenities which include toilets, showers and changing rooms. I struggle to think of a more perfect beach destination.

It's a good beach for sunbathing or little kids, useless if you want to surf or if you do any wave sports as the waves break directly onto the sand (especially when the swell is quite big)

Freo markets are always a cool place to wander around and chill. I like the atmosphere. Bit of music, good coffee, sushi, different food. It's and enjoyable afternoon out.

  • 4/5 Susen S. 3 years ago on Google
I wish they have more seating in the food court area. I know it's already a tight fit, but surely they could come up with something. Apart from that, I like all the small shops in there, feels great to support the local businesses.

After not having visited for many years we went twice in two months. We were after a particular brand of tea that we liked a lot. This was the first day of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in the wake of a five-day lockdown and I think people were glad to get out and about. There have been changes in stallholders over the years but there are still many familiar favourites. We had a nice lunch of ban mi made with roasted belly pork, a variation on the usual ones found elsewhere. Very yummy. The markets are always good for an occasional outing. I used public transport to get there. Disabled access is possible if a little difficult because of the crowds.

  • 5/5 Kim W. 3 years ago on Google
very interesting, diverse offerings. Got some native tea blends. Can't wait to try them.

  • 5/5 Simon M. 3 years ago on Google
Quaint markets in the centre of Freo with a fresh food section, some food stalls and a gifts, crafts, touristy area. Some very interesting stalls selling unusual items so great for a wander around. Parking is all around but can be tricky to find a spot when busy. We'll worth a visit.

  • 5/5 Tammy B. 3 years ago on Google
It seems they have a bit of most everything. We loved the didgeridoo musician and the pianist. My son was very happy with the coffee from the bean place and I love the lolly shop as they have so many products that I used to have back in Canada and have a hard time finding here.

  • 5/5 Greer Family :. 3 years ago on Google
A M A Z I N G!!!! Great market, lots of variety. There are flower shops, clothing, and more!! I recommend you check out the popcorn area, has tons of strange varirties including my favourite, salt and vinegar. Near the popcorn stand you can find a UK lolly shop and KND cupcakes. All opposite the fruit area ☺️ (sorry for terrible description)

(Translated by Google) Aussie Opals Direct. The worst experience I've ever had and customer service I've ever seen. On their web site, it says full refund for returns of any purchase within 30 days with receipt. But they won't let you do return or exchange. Be aware. If you're looking for authentic solid opal, buy it somewhere else. This store misled the customer that they won't tell you they're selling artificial “doublet” or “triplet” opal. More importantly, the lady in the store is very mean and a racist. They treat asians as stupid one-time buyer (traveller). Don't let it change. The attitude is extremely bad. I suggest you go to the Fremantle Opal store outside the market. The goods are clearly marked and the store is friendly. (Original) Aussie Opals Direct. A place where you can still find one-off unique items not available in big centres. We got handmade jigsaws for children, alternate health care, imported lollies, non-franchised food stalls, handicrafts, clothing and vegies. A pleasant day out. Public transport best idea. Even if you drive close to Freo then get bus/train as parking a nightmare. Don't let the multistorey carpark deceive you. It took us 1 hour from getting in the queue to pay parking fee ticket to arguing at the exit gate why we shouldnt have to pay extra to get out because of the traffic gridlock to exit. Spolt our pleasant afternoon at the market.

Fremantle Markets is a historical feature of Fremantle, Western Australia and much loved by locals and tourists for its rich culture of food, drinks, handmade products and fresh produce. A great place to spend an hour or three wandering through the various stalls, eating cuisines from round the world and savoring the cultural diversities. Freo Markets isn't exactly the greatest of places for those with mobility issues as the pathways are uneven, crowded and some stalls are up stairs. An ever changing scene happens inside these markets and the rich aromas always draw the hungry in. The outside is comical for buskers and musicians alike. Freo Markets are the place to be from Thursday to Sunday and Public Holidays. Parking is available nearby in the FOMO Secured Carpark on Henderson Street for $3.80 per hour or there part of.

Lovely beach, clean white sand, nice nearby facilities for changing, showering, toilets, etc. Close enough to grab a coffee, icecream, drink or snack. Grassed area has shelters and barbeques (free, public BBQ)on the beach the waves aren't big and it has a gentle slope and is patrolled in season and on public holidays.

  • 5/5 Ann L. 2 years ago on Google
Grass very green, good for kids to play lawn games while parents are at the bbqs available. Or play at 2 playgrounds. Can sit at bench with pagolas too or bring picnic rugs. Bring bikes to ride or walk along the beach. Beach accessible from bbq and lawn, carpark right at lawn picnic area. Beach toilets have multiple showers too. Beach itself is very nice, loads of people on Good Fri when we went recently.
