In
January
of
this
year
I
went
to
Dr
Srujana
Sarikonda
as
I
was
presenting
some
health
issues
associated
with
IBS,
was
worried
about
my
thyroid
function
and
iron
levels.
I
told
her
that
my
brother
has
severe
hypothyroidism
and
that
I
had
shown
many
symptoms
for
low
iron
levels.
She
booked
me
in
for
a
blood
test,
in
which
I
asked
for
it
to
cover
thyroid
functions
to
which
she
confirmed.
She
also
told
me
that
my
stomach
issues
are
probably
just
stress
without
hearing
any
of
my
symptoms
and
highly
advised
against
me
getting
checked
by
a
specialist.
It
was
only
after
I
had
told
her
the
severity
of
my
stomach
issues
that
she
said
it
may
be
IBS
or
even
Crohns
disease
-
doesn't
sound
like
stress
to
me.
I
went
in
a
couple
weeks
later
and
she
said
that
my
blood
test
results
were
fine.
She
said
that
my
iron
levels
were
normal,
and
when
asked
about
my
thyroid
function
she
said
that
is
was
perfectly
healthy.
When
I
had
my
procedure
to
check
out
my
stomach
issues
a
couple
months
later
not
only
did
it
come
back
that
I
had
IBS
but
that
I
also
had
intestinal
inflammation
and
THREE
tumours
(luckily
all
benign
-
at
least
that's
what
she
told
me).
My
final
session
was
finding
out
if
the
tumours
were
benign
which
was
confirmed,
however
when
asked
how
I
can
help
my
IBS
she
gave
me
no
directions
and
said
that
it
should
be
fine.
Now,
around
this
time
I
had
another
blood
test
as
a
result
of
an
allergy
test
by
another
specialist.
He
diagnosed
me
with
a
couple
of
mast
cell
disorders
and
made
me
do
some
blood
tests
just
to
check
my
thyroid
levels
and
immunology.
In
August,
he
confirmed
that
I
presented
with
high
levels
of
thyroxiperoxidase
abs
and
slightly
high
anti
nuclear
abs.
These
results
indicated
that
my
thyroid
mayhaps
wasn't
perfectly
fine.
Instead
they
indicated
that
I
possibly
had
issues
of
Hashimotos
or
Lupus.
Today
(we
are
in
November
btw
to
help
with
understanding
the
timing)
I
was
looking
through
my
blood
test
results
on
the
My
Health
Record
website.
I
was
mainly
curious
to
see
what
the
first
round
of
blood
tests
showed
that
gave
drastically
different
results
about
my
health
than
the
test
taken
two
months
prior.
You
can
imagine
the
confusion
when
I
couldn't
find
any
thyroid
function
tests
administered
or
requested
by
Dr
Srujana
Sarikonda
back
in
January.
I
compared
the
tests
between
herself
and
the
specialist
only
to
discover
that
there
were
no
results
pertaining
to
my
thyroid
functions.
This
lead
me
to
the
horrific
conclusion
that
these
tests
were
never
actually
done
and
that
she
had
lied
to
me
about
my
thyroid
function.
If
I
could
give
negative
stars,
I
would.
If
you
are
AFAB,
a
young
person,
or
are
anxious
about
potential
autoimmune
issues
I
would
NOT
recommend
coming
here.
