I have recently moved into the area and decided to find a nearby GP so I went to this practice. My first visit here, staff was so rude but the doctor was amazing. Staff at the reception and manager messed up with my appointments and blamed it on me. they canceled my appointment due to their system problems and resechuled and didn't let me know the time plus they didn't send me a message to confirm those appointment as they were really important to me. but I booked it again and missed one of the appointments accidentally as they didn't send me a message to confirm my appointment and got confused with days and booked it again and went to my appointment and they said I have missed more than 3 appointments whereas I only missed 1 appointment and they wanted to charge me. doctor is absolutely amazing but the staff and manager doesn't have good communication skills and blamed it on me especially when I wanted to see the GP badly. so I don't look forward to going here as I don't feel welcomed and don't no what to expect from staff.

My husband booked a 3:30 appointment for today for our daughter! No cold! No temperature! No flu like symptoms. My daughter has been vomiting with stomach pains. Was told by the receptionist just before her appointment was about to happen that her appointment is now canceled because due to her symptoms. Palmed off telling us they didn’t have a jab to stop her vomiting. Thank you to the pharmacy that could dispense ondansetron wafers to stop her vomiting prescribed by a Dr that would see a sick patient. The appointment wasn’t for me it was for my daughter, that is why you haven’t an appointment for me or have never seen me!

Dr Beshay is the best doctor that has ever treated me, no other doctor is like Dr Beshay, she is kind, caring, she listens, I would highly recommend her to all.

The practice is absolutely beautiful and staff so welcoming. Dr Beshay is always so through and ready to listen to any concerns we have and follows up with our requests. We have been on a public wait list for over 18months and still waiting thankfully Dr had us booked with a specialist with in a week. I can’t imagine where we’d be, if it wasn’t for her. Finally I found Dr Beshay and I haven’t looked back. Not only is Doctor Beshay the best Doctor out there, she is kind, professional and thorough. Lovely clean practice, friendly reception that actually turn the kids channel on for the kids! Greeted with smiles at front desk! Professional and supportive! Dr beshay is so good with kids! Very caring and takes time with you! My wife and family and grandchildren love this medical centre! Truly a gem in woodvale!

I have been going to Castlegate Family Practice and seeing Dr Beshay for a few years, the staff are always professional and very helpful. Dr Beshay is very thorough and you don’t feel like just just a number she takes the time to listen to your concerns. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing to see a doctor.

I could not recommend Castlegate Family Practice any higher! I started going here myself after my doctor went on maternity leave and never returned, I then fell pregnant with my son (there little Castlegate baby as they call him) so now my son, my sisters, my nieces, nephews and I all go to see Dr Beshay as she is very thorough and professional when it comes to her patients. Dr Beshay, Roxanne, Julia & Emma all make this place feel like home and very welcome whenever we attend. Not to mention how clean and spotless the practice is every-time we attend. If you are looking for a wonderful doctor and team I wouldn’t look any further as these ladies are your go too. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience every time we come and see you.

Both the Dr here and staff are absolutely lovely and incredibly professional. Always thorough and actually listen to your concerns without rushing you. The practice itself is beautifully set out and maintained to a very high standard!

I have been to Castlegate and the staff and Dr are amazing! I just had a baby and my own dr would not see me, as he was fully booked. The girls on the desk were brilliant! They were so kind, one of the staff offered to watch my baby while I filled out forms. They do tell you that if you miss an appointment there is a cancellation fee. This is everywhere. They also use health engine which sends you reminders and gives you an option to cancel. I wish people would stop being mean to healthcare workers! If you have an issue why not talk to the staff? They have supported so many women in the community. Please be kind! I love Castlegate and I love seeing Dr Magda I will always go to there. Cannot wait for my appt tomorrow! Nicole and Family! After visiting unfriendly, clinical, cold doctors surgeries for years I was blown away by the warmth of Castlegate Family Practice, not only due to the lovely decor but the very friendly staff on Reception who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Dr Beshay is lovely and took her time for my appointment, really feel so lucky to have such a great clinic so close to home 🙏 highly recommend.

I attended this practice 2 weeks ago. Dr Beshay was great! Very attentive and informative. Low rating is due to the lack of continuity of care and difficulty getting through to the practice on the phone. My appointment was on a Tuesday and I was advised that I would be contacted with my results late in the week/early the following week. It’s been 2 weeks and I have not received any form of contact. My contact details are definitely correct as the receptionist sent me a code to confirm on the day of my appointment. Unfortunately I live 1 hour away from this practice but justified the distance for what I thought would be a high quality of patient care. Currently on hold for the third time today without having spoken to any actual person. 30 minutes this time with me being the first in line so the operator says. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews - so much so that this is the first one I have ever left. However, I am extremely disappointed with this experience and frustrated that it has been impossible to verbalise this over the phone rather than in a review for all to see. For women’s health issues that require medical attention and can be unsettling when you are awaiting results, I will be looking for another practice.

My partner and I have had great experiences with all the staff, super friendly and helpful in every way. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a new medical clinic. Our new baby boy has even started going and again we have been over the moon with the services provided.

Lovely practice, very modern but didn't think that my sons limp was assessed well (the Dr didn't touch his foot/ leg) we were then sent for xrays and told the Dr would have the report and results within the hour. I tried calling a few times that day but the Dr never got back to me. Its been 4 days now and still haven't heard anything so I went and purchased the report from SKG and booked another doctors surgery. We won't be back unfortunately.

Dr Beshay has been amazing throughout all my prenatal care. She is very thorough and doesn’t rush the conversation. Not only this, but she is fantastic with kids too!

Dr. Beshay is hands down my favourite doctor! She LISTENS to her patients, finds the best solution to health issues by working WITH the patient, not making decisions for them but including them in this process which is very empowering and healing. And she does this with kindness and professionalism. The staff are all so friendly, helpful and welcoming, an absolute delight! All in all I would rate this practice 10 out of 5 if I could!

I have had several consultations with Dr Beshay, and she looks after the rest of my family as well. I have found her to be an excellent GP. I can highly recommend her to anyone. Also, the staff are lovely and always make us feel very welcome.
