Another patient extremely shocked and unhappy with the treatment recieved at North Perth Medical Centre, specially Dr Anjan Sharma. Today 25/5/21 at 4.30pm I had a booked appointment in order to get a referral letter for the gynecologist. I had some heavy concerns as I recently had a surgical procedure done. When I asked him to get me that referral he responded "but why do you want to spend so much money? I responded " I feel something is not right and I want to get properly checked. He insisted that I was ok dismissing my symptoms and concerns with out checking anything. He looked on his computer and found a female Dr (I never mentioned I had a problem with Dr's gender) once I got my referral I left the facility and called the gynecologist straightaway. When I talked to them they asked me why was I wanting to get an appointment with them if I wasn't pregnant as this referred female Dr is an obstetrician. Lucky I didn't go far so I went back to the North Perth Medical Centre and asked the receptionist if I could see Dr Anjan Sharma as he made me a wrong referral. She put me on the line again and waited. After waiting for a while the receptionist came back and said Dr Sharma would email my new referral to my email in the morning. I wanted to see him personally and needed the referral as soon as possible to make a quicker appointment. I finally got back to his consultation room. He closed the door and asked me in a very rude manner "what do you want? Why now" I answered him "because I need to make an appointment as soon as possible, tomorrow I might not be able, can you please just make it now?" He started raising his voice louder and louder asking me "why now, why do I have to make it now? What is the difference between now or tomorrow morning" I asked him if he could talk to me in a better manner as he was starting to shout and making me extremely uncomfortable. He then opened the door and shouted "get out, get out of here and never ever come back again" I obviously left the room, headed to reception an told the receptionist "I am very disappointed, there is a really bad service here" when Dr Sharma came out and shouted again "leave! Never comeback again" This just happened today, Dr Sharma reaction was unreasonable and way out of line, made me feel vulnerable, shocked and disappointed. I dont believe anyone should be treating others this way let alone a Doctor in a medical professional

Reception was so rude. I went to the pharmacy next door and they advised me to go the gp, explaining that this one takes walk-ins. I then went to the gp reception and asked if they take walk-ins and she very rudely told me no, even though it says they do on health engine?? She was very condescending and rude about it, making me feel embarrassed as there were a few people in the waiting room. Itโ€™s fine if they were full today but she didnโ€™t need to embarrass me.

This is the worst clinic in Perth. They delay your reports, they mess up your name and they donโ€™t call to confirm your appointments. My blood reports were delayed by 2 weeks and when I called to check in, they postponed the doctors appointment by another 2 weeks. So basically it would take you 1 month to get your reports and a consultation. PS - The female doctor was dismissive and rude. I felt like I was in an interrogation as opposed to a conversation.

I am surprised to see the reviews. After being tired of trying to find a decent doctor, (most of them were really unprofessional, not willing to help) my friend recommended me to visit Dr Jasmine. She is very professional, listens carefully and tries to help, she is fantastic! My inssurance is not covering 100% the services in this clinic, but I don't mind paying a little extra to get a good service, specially when talking about health issues. The girls at the reception were friendly!

I unfortunately had to make an appointment at this Clinic as I needed a medical certificate for work. It was also the closest bulk billing clinic, due to COVID19, paying $ for a GP appointment is not something I can afford. After having 2 days off work due to a migraine and nausea, and with my regular GP nearly an hour drive away (one of the best GP's I've been to and definitely not wanting to change GP's despite the distance), I am unable to drive for too long with a migraine, I also don't have any family or close friends that could have driven me, so I made an appointment at this clinic. It was not a great experience, the GP was only able to give me a medical certificate for 1 day as it was my first appointment there, my blood pressure was high and I explained that it would be due to my migraine, I didn't explain that I probably had a migraine due to extreme pressure and stress at work as I felt the GP was not interested, the appointment lasted less that 5 minutes, and I was still discussing my symptoms with the GP when I was walked out of the office and the appointment ended. I also now have the added stress of missing a days pay from work. I dont want to name who the GP is as I am fully aware the healthcare industry is inundated at the moment, people are stressed, GPs dont have enough time etc etc, I can acknowledge that, but I won't be returning again.

Please do yourself a favor and DONโ€™T! Go to this place. Itโ€™s an absolute nightmare. Front desk staff are rude. $70 for a 5min appointment is a joke. And they donโ€™t even care about there patients. Itโ€™s all about money!!! North Perth family GP should be closed down. Only positive I can take away from my experience. Is the blood test part of the clinic is good. It shows how bad this place is one of the family members/staff. Had to write a 5 star review so the place gets customers. Please donโ€™t go here!!

I saw Dr Sharma today and I am taken a back by the response I had. I needed to get a medical certificate but as I have been suffering from extremely painful periods for the last 6-8 months and I never use to, I (and my boyfriend) thought it was necessary to bring up as a precaution, which I thought was the responsible thing to do instead of ignoring the issue completely. After Dr Shama printed the medical certificate I explained the pain that I had been going through - just like if I had a sore throat I would explain my symptoms. To me, he was dismissive & responded with a few things I found problematic. "take anti-inflammatories" not "have you tried anti-inflammatories?" "Just because someone has a headache, doesn't mean they have a brain tumour" "You need to go to a female doctor" This interests me even more as I see there is another review from a female about wanting a referal to a gyno from Dr Shama but sounds this may be a pattern with this doctor. If you have a uterus you must see a female doctor (lol). What I also think is problematic is the comment he made "Just because someone has a headache, doesn't mean they have a brain tumour". If a male walked in and had monthly stomach pain that hurt so much he couldn't go to work and wanted to make sure it was nothing serious, I dont think he would receive the comment: "Just because someone has a headache, doesn't mean they have a brain tumour". It seems to me Dr Shama is systematically sexist and incapable of treating a woman or person with a uterus, which I think huh, thats not really the kind of Doctor I want to trust with my health, anyway.

I haven't seen the doctor yet but I just had a rude exchange with the receptionist who didn't even bother to greet me but instead asked if I had a mask, which I replied with "no" and said I was sorry, I didn't realise I needed one. She then said "do you want one?" And I said "well sure, if I have to for sure" and then she puts one in front of me and says "well they're a dollar, we don't just get them for free you know". Terrible attitude. No people skills.

Dr Sharma has been helpful with our family. Reading all the reviews, I suspect that many of us are entitled and racist to a great extend towards people of other background. It is a bulkbilled service. Take it or leave it. As simple as that.

Just went to an appointment with Jasmine Pradhan. Itโ€™s the worst appointment Iโ€™ve ever been to. I think she was having a bad day. She spoke very rude to me with a belittling tone. When I walked out the door, she said out loud โ€œJesusโ€.

So glad we found this GP. We have seen two of the doctors there now and both have been exceptional. We're new to the area and it's daunting to choose a GP. These guys will be our family doctor from now on. They were great with my little boy. Keep up the good work ๐Ÿ˜Š

Dr Sharma is a great GP, thorough, has good bedside manner and made sure all my questions were answered. Nurse who was working 15 Feb at lunchtime (didn't catch her name) was amazing. I was very nervous about the procedure but she was gentle and made sure I was comfortable.

Held back on writing this as I had given the practice the benefit of the doubt that my experience was due to a rare bad day on their part, but having read other bad experiences in the reviews here, apparently not. Have been here twice months ago; once to get a radiology referral for an injury and a second time to receive the scans. First time was fine, standard practice but the second time, I received my scans but my injury was still debilitating and I needed further assistance. This conversation was shut down immediately though, I felt like instead of the next course of action being taken, I just was being herded out of the door just to let the next patient in. I received the scans, but feel like I didn't receive adequate care. The entire appointment, which had a 30+ minute wait time attached to it, was less than two minutes and I was still sporting an untreated injury. Disappointing experience.

Worst reception desk service you may experience in your life. Very rude staff and poor communication. Money seekers and this business is not recommended if you really want a real service from a MEDICAL centre.

I have recently starting going to this practice and have been seeing Dr Jyotsana Pradhan and Dr Jasmine Pradhan and I cannot praise them enough! Both are patient with my questions and take the time to explain things to me properly without rushing through my appointment. Definitely recommend this practice.

Incredible care by the GPs here. I am also shocked to see the reviews as the whole experience I have had is nothing but incredible. Especially compared to other GP clinics in the area.

Waste of time, I went for a general screen. Called back in a few days later for test results and was told I had to come back in for blood tests (not necessary) They hadn't bothered running the test I asked for specifically. Ive used this GP for about a year or more and every appointment I have booked has always been 20min wait past scheduled time! Will be finding somewhere else.

I am visiting this clinic for more than a year now and the service I am receiving is very good. All GPโ€™s are good and professional and I recommend Dr. Anjan Sharma as I am seeing him since the beginning and I am really happy.

Awful experiences with Dr. Anjan Sharma, Dr. Jyotsana Pradhan and Dr. Jasmine Pradhan. All bear no skill in dealing with mental illness. When I detailed my extensive and painful 10+ years history of poor mental health to renew a script for my anti depressants Dr. Sharma proceeded to ask me whether I go to sleep early and eat well? He went on to patronise me for 5 minutes by monologuing AT me about lifestyle as if I was to blame for my poor mental health which is unfortunately genetic and something I have had to live with and manage for over 15 years. Dr. Jyotsana and Dr. Jasmine were the same - rude, dismissive, blunt, mean, cold and made it very clear from their mannerisms that they didn't value my experiences as a patient. I remained at this practise for two years out of convenience because of it's location but after last appointment I will never go back. Reception staff are lovely but these doctors need further mental health training. It is obvious they hold unhealthy rhetorics around mental illness and it's offensive and embarrassing for health professionals to act this way.

Worst doctors surgery Iโ€™ve ever been to. Doctors are rude and ill equipped to treat patients as you can see from other reviews. My treatment here has been appalling. Doctors yell at patients and do nothing to treat them. Unsure how theyโ€™re allowed to practise.

Dr Jyotsana Pradhan asked me a question about my child before I could even begin to phrase the question she took the first few words as the whole answer and proceeded to lecture me in front of my wife with a belittling tone and condescending manner. Wont be going back won't recommend. Oh and Jyotsana you might wanto listen to your patients as you are a doctor after all :) kind regards

The lady on reception this afternoon needs to dial down her rudeness and poor attitude. Or better yet, not work in the service industry as you are clearly not fit to deal with human beings. Most of the doctors are fine though. Two notable errors with two different docs so read into that what you will...

It is never a good experience when visiting this GP. I use it as a last resort only. This is usually a waste of time as I have to visit a proper clinic in the days to follow. Don't waste your time.

My heart felt gratitude to North Perth Family GP and Dr Anjan Sharma in particular who stitched up my 5 year olds chin after he fell onto a plant pot yesterday! Thank you sir! He was so scared and kept insisting he just needed a Band-Aid and a lie down. Luckily he knew you from a previous appointment and so trusted you to give him the anaesthetic needed despite being so frightened. This also meant we avoided waiting hours in PCH with a very frightened boy and could get home quickly (not to mention reduced pressure on the emergency department). We are very thankful

Dr Niva Shrestha is a lovely , caring GP. Very generous with her time . Because my visit was a workers-compensation related visit , things got a little bit complicated/ awkward at reception when leaving , but that wasnโ€™t their fault . I fully recommend Nth. Pth. Family GP.
