I've been visiting this gym for just on a year now during my lunch breaks. It's very well equipped, spacious and super clean. The staff there are really nice and helpful. I'm glad i left this review a week as during a visit last week, an older gentleman had a fall and hit the back of his head. The staff were right on top of it, they addressed his wound, calmed him down, made him comfortable and called and ambulance. Truly caring people. Great gym.

This is a great Gym available 24/7. No lock in contract/fees and easy to join, good equipment with an Exercise Physiologist available for private coaching. Easy convenient location with parking at the front door. Very helpful friendly staff who leave you to do what you want or to help if you need. I highly recommend this gym to anyone starting out or those who are 'old hands'. Thanks Genesis Fitness Belmont for making my first Gym experience not so daunting!

Belmont Genesis , is an awesome gym , with some of the best equipment and the staff/trainers are very good and have knowledge in all things fitness.

Quite a few shortfalls in this gym...but staff are friendly. Does not have an abdominal crunch machine?? Which is standard in any gym.? Needs another set of cable flys....only one set...?..always waiting to use this item however upstairs there is another single set if making the trek often used by classes. Needs another Smith machine....only 1 small one? but there is an over supply of free standing squat racks...remove one and add a Smith I think. Also has two racks of barbells but none are ez bar style. Both full sets are straight...One rack of straight and one of ez would be best plus they are all standing vertically making them hard to put back especially for the ladies. Bad set up. If all these things were rectified it would then be much more user friendly, without having to wait for equipment either. Hopefully improves in the next 6 months. Is clean but nobody puts their weights back and nobody seems to care .....very messy gym.

Great environment to train in, the Genesis Belmont Team are very welcoming and supportive in what ever your fitness needs are. The Gym is full of members who share a common goal of wellness, which makes it more comfortable and motivating to train in. Great gym for levels of fitness!

Genesis in Belmont is a wonderful gym filled with wonderful people and staff. It was an amazing first experience being at a gym. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I've been training here for almost a year now and love it. The trainers have managed to keep me motivated (not always an easy feat!) and the atmosphere is great. The classes are a good mix of fun but still with plenty of encouragement to work hard. I love the smaller class sizes and the fact that the trainers take time to work on my technique to reduce my risk of injury. Also, great that they incorporate rolling and stretching into the class time to ensure we look after ourselves. I highly rate Genesis, both the facilities and the staff.

Recently moved and struggled to find a good yet affordable gym. I got a free trial, no join-up fees or lock ins and flexible payment options. They have ample space and equipment available and the staff are friendly, informed and helpful. Would recommend to anyone struggling to find somewhere enjoyable to work out.

I joined Genesis Belmont 6 months ago, the gym has excellent equipment, is well set out and the staff very friendly and approachable. I never have to wait to use a piece of equipment because they have so much, all amenities are clean, lots of storage for your gear and I really enjoy my workouts there.

Just finished the 5 day trial, staff were friendly and helpful. There is no joining fee, free key access card/fob, no lock in contracts. 24/7 access. Plenty of equipment and space. Plenty parking available. Now that my trial is over will be signing up !!

My schedule means that I can't get to the gym within normal hours. Genesis allows me to work out on my time and the equipment is really good. Haven't had the chance to try everything yet because there is so many options but I look forward to coming in everyday. Thanks to Team at Genesis Belmont

I have been training since I was 18 years old, I have gone to multiple kinds of gyms. Therefore, I can confirm that genesis is the gym that you would like to sign up, the staff is super friendly, the equipment is well maintained, the gym has multiple rooms for all different kinds of training, prices are excellent and you can find various activities and courses to join.

I’ve been trained in many different gyms, but this is the best by far! The equipment is amazing and you can find everything you need for any type of workout!! But to be honest, the best thing for me was the super welcoming smile that the staff given to me! Very professional and helpful! Highly recommend!

Really good variety of equipment (everything you could possibly need!!) and it’s all super clean and organised whenever I go. Josh and Jared always make you feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello.

From the first day i felt welcome from Genesis at Belmont, the program was great and the push, motivation from each trainer is amazing ! Unfortunately I could not continue my training with them since I have to do some special exercises for an injury that I had caused a while ago, but once again I recover I hope to return to Genesis fitness group.

I wanted to join a Gym that was near to home and after organising an appointment with Josh (who was so helpful) I arrived and as soon as I walked in and was shown around by him I was very impressed. The Gym is very clean and modern with new equipment. The ladies bathrooms are spacious and clean with lovely showers. There is drinks machines and water fountains available on the ground floor. Fellow Gym goers male/female are friendly and inviting and they range from in their 20's to 50's+.There is an opportunity to attend fitness classes upstairs that are tailored to everybody's needs. If you are nervous about getting back into fitness like I was, don't be as Josh and Jared will put you at your ease and help you to achieve your goals.

Genesis Belmont is the only gym I’ve ever actually enjoyed going to. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The trainers really want you to achieve your goals. Would highly recommend :)

I’m a beginner who has never been to a gym or any group classes. The staff here are super friendly, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. The equipment variety is awesome and all well maintained. It’s an extremely clean and well presented gym and very inviting for beginners. I would recommend to anyone.

Walked in looking at potentially signing up and knew I'd be joining straight away. Was greeted almost immediately and explained the process. Now that I have been using the gym, it is impressively clean, modern equipment, nice facilities including showers if needed. Aside from the standard membership, they offer lots of other services such as tailored coaching and personal training, challenges etc.

This place is very welcoming and has a postive attitude to change and improvement (generally the reason people join a gym). Jared, Josh and the rest of the team are always willing to help, they have great attitudes and never allow you to doubt yourself. Ive been with this gym about 15 months now (the longest ive stuck with it) and i would stay the team is what keeps me coming back and never giving up.

As a young person, I really appreciate how safe this gym is. There's ample space for your belongings and loads of free parking right outside making it extremely easy to pop in and out without worrying for your safety. The staff are also extremely approachable and friendly as well as helpful. The equipment is easy to use and you never have to wait as they have got plenty to go around, inclusive of many spaces for you to workout in. With an easy sign-up process and no lock-in contracts, I would definitely recommend this gym to any young person looking for an affordable, convenient and, most importantly, safe space to work out.

I have not had the best experience with gyms. As soon as I met Josh he made me feel at ease. He listened to my concerns and guided me in the right direction. I’m even going to use the exercise physiologist. I did my first workout the day I signed up. Felt at ease. I knew this was the right decision. I am recovering from a knee replacement and I’m never heard and more damage to my knee. I can’t wait for this new chapter to begin
