We had mee goreng, ckt and mee with ketchup... Msg and salt seems to be free, coz the use is way way over excessive. The 3 stars is because i didn't get to try the laksa... so, assume laksa will be good. Very very disappointed especially when the menu is so limited. πŸ˜’πŸ˜’

Had the char kway teow, Sarawak laksa and tomato noodles. The food was amazing. Best of all was the char kway teow which had amazing β€œwok hei” breath of wok. Really good standard of food and did not disappoint. Well done

3.5 - 4 stars Came here for dinner at 6pm on Tuesday. Less busier than lunch hours. So served dishes very fast. - Laksa, $16: quite authentic serve. Good presentation and taste, pretty delicated. Three prawns (normal size and good quality) were well cooked. Good portions of well- shredded chicken and well-cooked egg strips. Soup was slight spicy, not thick, and less coconut milk one. --- 7.6/10 - Chicken Rice, $17.5: only served with one house chili sauce. Chicken was well cooked, glossy and succulent. Rice was full of fragrance. Chicken broth with more chopped spring onions, was better in portion and texture than other shops. --- 7.8/10 ------ ------ -------- 6/2022 Environment: simple modern decor. Packed. Open kitchen. Not comfortable seatings. Hear the sound stir- frying with wok, so having a strong feeling of street food stall setting. Clean & tidy. --- 7/10 Service: very busy as 3-4 staff in house during lunch hours. Probably wait for a while but acceptable. Polite staff. Provide a bottle of tap water when seated.--- 6.9/10 Food: normal presentation. Price is ok. Portion is normal. No wow feeling. Limited choices. No today's special when visit. Unfortunately, Laksa also wasn't available. - Char Kueh Tiaw, $16: There 3 prawns (normal size), some chicken meat, Chinese sausage slices, egg, spring onion and a lot of crunchy bean shoots. --- 7.2/10 - Chicken Curry & Rice, $17: crispy potato chips on top. A big stewed potato was soft. Well with the curry sauce. Chicken was succulent. --- 7.3/10 - Iced Black Coffee, $5.5: normal

Best Sarawak laksa in Aus. If you are in the know about sarawak laksa and are looking for a bowl as good as one back home you must try this place. Broth is full strength and perfectly balanced with generous egg, chicken and perfectly cooked prawns, they even have the little round limes like Kuching does. Friendly staff, what more could you ask for? We will be back for more thanks

Love the food we had the Char Kueh Tiaw, Kolo Mee, Chicken Rice and the Crispy Satay Chicken (clockwise). They put a unique spin on authentic flavours and would definitely come back. The fried chicken is amazing too tender, juicy and crisp.

Had a great lunch there today, chicken rice was probably one of the best I’ve had for a long time, the chicken was moist and succulent, rice was almost moist not dry like a lot of places, good serving, well priced. The rest of the food was delicious.

This is the best char kwe tiaw I've had so far! The aroma of the wok is amazing, and the dish itself is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of saltiness and abundance of sambal (chef's kiss emoji). The deep-fried chickpeas are also bursting with flavor. The service is impeccable, and the small team in the busy kitchen completes the overall experience. I would love to come back and will definitely make a booking a day beforehand.

Had the chicken rice, was absolutely worth it. Chicken was very succulent and paired with the chilli it was a party. The main star however was the rice, I felt like I could just eat that alone and leave satisfied. 🍚πŸ₯’ The meat rolls were slightly too greasy for my liking though. Initially I ordered food for takeaway, but they were kind enough to let me sit down and dine in.

The is definitely the best kch laksa that i ever had as im really a picky guy on kuching laksa, i just fall for their kch laksa so much especially the gravy that rich, and savoury, with just the right balance of spice and coconut milk, guaranteed to tickle your tastebuds! The prawns served are just very fresh and its best combination eating with their sambal that really lifts up the laksa to another level!! Their staffs are also very friendly and professional that im gonna give them a 5 stars rating on their professionalism!! Love it!!!

Everything we tried was excellent - from the Sarawak laksa to Ngo Hiang to the Mamak Mee Goreng and Beef + Black Bean Hor Fun. Very rarely do you get so many dishes that just click. Highly recommended place. Have had friends who say they are on the more expensive side - but what should NOT be discounted is the size of their servings AND the quality of ingredients. Will definitely be back.

I have been having lots of Malaysian food lately. This is another Malaysian restaurant offering great food. They do not have many dishes on their menu but they have weekend special almost every week. Check their Facebook for updates. My favourites are nasi lemak, car kue teow, laksa and mee goreng.

A small and very busy restaurant. The staff were friendly and the place is clean and neat. We ordered tomato noodle, chicken rice and Sarawak laksa and all very tasty and with decent serving size. Make sure to book as it gets very busy during peak hours. (We were turned away first time as they couldn’t accommodate us)

KCH is a modern and cosy Malaysian restaurant that does hawker-style good very well. We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice, Grandma's Meat Roll and the Char Kway Teow. All of which were delicious! Good service and highly recommend. Make sure to book ahead if planning to eat in as they can get quite busy!

Always a pleasure to eat at a place that consistently gets better with every visit. The special menu hainanese curry rice and buttermilk chicken were the best yet. I am thoroughly excited to what else will come out of KCH.

Nice food but feeling awkward while eating and seeing people queuing with empty tables inside the restaurant. Not sure why they allow reservations for cheap fast food type restaurant, should be first come first serve.

This restaurant is the most authentic Malaysian restaurant I've been to in Perth. The food is really flavorful and the shop is cute. Definitely recommend

Tried the fried kuay teow today and I love their smell of the wok! You can choose how spicy you want, mild was just nice for people if you’re looking for tasting spicy but not that spocy. The specialty of the ketchup with mee is they used the deep fried noodles which won’t make you feel like too greasy. The teh goreng is soooo good! The tea taste of it is on point.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Incredible food. Condensed menu, but covers a wide range of tastes. Pictured are The CKT (Char Kueh Tiaw) and Duck Rendang (Sunday Special).

This blissful dip in mercury and the weekend’s cocktail consumption called for takeaway for KCH 🍜🍜 We ordered Char Kway Teow, the weekend special Ding Bian Hu, Baba’s Rice NoodlesΒ and KCH Laksa. Absolute perfection!

Ordered a laksa and fried chicken wings, Laksa is a little bit too spicy for me but love the mi fan noodle, fried chicken wings is well marinated. The lemon tea is quite small in size I reckon. Would come back for another dishes!

Finally, we managed to get in!! Tried the Laksa which was very nice. Hubby had the CKT... it looked delicious. Both the meals were lovely and fresh - with enough crunchy bean shoots... your KFriedChicken and Ngoh Hiang were excellent.... well done and congratulations... "The lady with the yellow cardi"

Wow this is a hidden gem not a huge menu but tasty delights await. The menu is small but exceptional service is friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable. Totally 19/19

Delicious food, with huge serving sizes and great prices! There were four of us, we ordered 4 different mains and everyone was extremely happy with their food. The only "issue" was that the portion was so big that some of us struggled to finish. But you could just as easily just get it for takeaway and get an extra meal out of it. Overall great service (very accommodating to menu change requests), nice cozy place and tasty food Added to my favourites
