Initial arriving experience was terrible. 4 reception staff at the front and not one acknowledged my presence, nor look me in the eye, nor said " won't be a minute" The stars are only for Dr Ben Ansell because he was so informative,thorough and engaging. I felt truly cared for. I highly recommend Dr Ben Ansell but call ahead to check if he is running to time. I would have liked to give more stars but the reception was cold and uninviting.

Drs are great, however the receptionists not so great. Snappy and unempathic, rude and abrasive are all words that come to mind. I have worked in simular roles all of my life and can't understand how such a reputable clinic could have this sort of behaviour condoned. I have been a patient there for many years and today was the final straw for me, having complained to not only the Dr but the practice manager who has done nothing to fix this problem.

Long wait times, no apology for waiting over 1.5 hours in the car park. I was told to get there a certain time, contact reception and was instructed a Doctor would be out to see me within the next 15 minutes. 1.5 hours later I was told the Doctor was still with the same patient. Years ago this surgery was perfect, its has really fallen into the mud.

We have seen Dr. Kerry McIntosh, she is very unknowledgeable, my baby had infection in his eyes, she couldn’t even tell us that is infection!His eyes got so sore, itchy and we didn’t have any proscription to treat it. she was so impatient with us, unkind, rude and we were so uncomfortable with her. She even refused to provide me a carer leave certificate for my work. She said I should see you and charge you to give you a certificate. This was the worst experience seeing GP in my entire life.

I've been going here for over 10 years since my teens and hardly had major issues. Unexpected long wait times are expected at any medical centres and dental clinics so I usually call before i leave home to check whether they're running on time and they're always honest with me. Hit and miss with the doctors but i highly recommend Dr Ansell, Dr Lin and Dr McIntosh in no particular order - all really friendly and knowledgeable. Never had an issue with the receptionists. One time I accidentally left without paying and they called me politely and was having a laugh with me.

My experience was a breeze The wait time was very short despite me being a new patient. Dr Jing Lin was very informative and thorough. Had all my tests done the same day. Will recommend Dr Jing and this clinic to any first time pregnant mothers looking around for a long term gp :)

An extremely unorganised clinic with poor customer service. Would not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Dr O"Mahony is the best Doctor Eva!! I thank him for finding difficult issues & his compassion for his patients can't be measured! Amazing Doctor & not in it for the money! Dedecated & extremely professional!

I have been at this clinic since 1998. I have seen it significantly decline in service and community care to the commercial machine it is today. I was misdiagnosed by a Doctor at this practice and when I called to ask if I should admit myself to hospital because the pain had become so great, I was served a $65 dollar invoice for that question. There are plenty of clinics that will care for you, I feel like this just isn't one of those practises anymore.

Excellent clinic with a range of great doctors. Dr Ansell is amazing with the kids, my son didn't cry when he had his head stitched as Dr Ansell was distracting him so well. Dr Lin is my regular doctor however and wonderful. She is empathetic and caring. You can't teach that.

I have had occasion to contact the reception on numerous times and have always been met with courteous staff, more than willing to help me. They go above and beyond and if my enquiry cannot be answered immediately the response time has been prompt. Being a rural patient this is very much appreciated. My medical care has improved markedly since I have been under the capable hands of Dr Jing Lin and I could not recommend her any higher.

Waited 1/2heure at 8:30am so been one of the first patients and when I went out just for 2 minutes to take a phone call, it was my turn but took the next patient. The receptionists knew I was there as I had to fill a form, but they said nothing. So Dr Bowen was 1/2 hour late and wouldn’t wait 1 minutes. Not nice!

If you need health-care I really couldn't recommend this place any less. They also lie completely about document processes that are performed by ANY other clinic to avoid doing Bull Billed work. Do your well being a favor and choose one of the many, nearby, reputable facilities. There's a reason their rating is so low

Dr O'Mahony @ This Medical Center Is A Fantastic Doctor. He Listens To His Clients, He Is Not Afraid Of Asking Questions. The Nurses @ This Medic Center Are Fantastic - When They Give You A Needle You Normally Can Not Even Tell They Have Done The Injection 99% Of The Time As They Are Extremely Gentle. The Reception Staff and Management Are Extremely Friendly and Professional.

All I can say is 'what a uncoordinated mess'

I finally find a GP I can trust and get half way through blood tests and dva forms for him to leave. I don't understand how this happens. Disgusting. Some people take a long time to find a doctor and to not even offer me a final appointment is a joke. This practice clearly doesn't care about it patients. Do not recommend

I have been a patient at Southern Clinic for over 50 years. While the clinic has become busier, I have always found the staff to be professional and courteous. I have moved several times but still come to Southern Clinic regardless of my location in the metropolitan area.
