First & absolutely foremost, the Dr's ive delt with here are magic! Very willing to help & super flexible. That said the reception staff are beyond a joke to downright rude. Ive called this place several times & will often get hung up on, I would understand if it happened once or twice maybe the connection died, but it happens almost every time I call at least once. Second is that unless you are in a flat panic or yelling at them they just don't care. I get you're busy, 100% do, but listen to the words not the tone. Im polite because I want to be but it doesn't mean the person I'm calling about is any less serious! Third is if it takes a bit of extra work they don't want to know. Good luck trying to set up after hours appointment with this place, I know its not their service directly but every other clinic can make a locum appointment when it's a patient of theirs but not this place apparently. Its like they actively want to fob you off & be unhelpful. Love the doctors but the reception is useless.

Receptionist can not answer simple question and get annoyed when ask for further info. Spoke to manager and it too difficult for him to phone patients for vaccination when its ready. I originally go to Odin medical center where they were very helpful to contact me when flu vaccine ready for me to get one. Never once feel like i am trouble when i need info . We choose to pay extra fee and not attend bulk bill clinic to see doctor that we been seeing for last 10 years. Also pay extra money for excellent service and care. Now we do not think this worth our money if the medical center can not give us 1 simple phone call be cause it all too much for them. Manager take comment on board but he think he done noting wr0ng and his medical center is perfect .So my feedback not get valued by his opinion because i am just one person that complains about it. Well your rating is 3 stars overall... NO I WILL NOT CHANGED REVIEW ONLY BECAUSE YOU ASK ME TO. Your receptionist was rude and not helpful . You do not need to call all the patients , simple as shortlisted for people who asking for it . If other practice can do it , why cant you . You not bulk bill clinic ! Use sms text system , you already have everyone numbers, easy and do not use much time at all. How hard could that be . I am PREGNANT and have legit reason why i need it ASAP . If you can not provide me time frame which i more than happy to pay $20 at chemist to get one myself . That was not the case , receptionist just have no clue when manager said everyone at clinic know this info . So don't just asking me to changed bloody review when you are hopeless. BE HELPFUL INSTEAD OF BEING RUDE . PS . Manager said he could not calls 100s of patients. So now you have 20000 patients . Big jump is int it . Also i am sure not everyone pregnant or asking for flu vac !

I wish I could give Zero stars if the system allows me. I used to be with the Odin Road Medical center. Ever since they merged with Stirling Lake, I can feel a huge difference about the level of customer service. The attitude of the receptionists, including the manager are horrible. The way they are talking was cold as ice like they care nothing about their customers at all. I have been an royal customer with Odin Road for over 5 years, now i decided to move to other place can provide a better service. The service they provided is really poor. The doctor saw me and my daughter, gave us a complete wrong medical certification information which means nothing to both of my work place and daughter's day care. The only service that i need from them is iron infusion, which the doctor forgot to gave the pathology form. I asked the form from the front desk today, they refuse to even to let the doctor know beside send him message. i asked when he will review the message as i am urgently need it to book the medical service. they told me the doctor just came back from holiday, and he got heaps of unread messages they don't know when. they already done whatever they can. For anyone who loves and cares about the family and friends, don't go there. No one there will care about you at all.

If only I cam give NO STAR rating for this centre I would have. Receptionist are rude, never helpful and one time while I was waiting to be seen by a Doctor, 2 receptionist backtalk about one of the caller which was put on hold. So unprofessional! Very hard to book an appointment on the phone and waiting time is INSANE!!!!.... I rang up after my surgery if I can see or talk to my Doctor, they have told me that they will let her know and will call me back. Have not heard for 3 days and when I rang again, they inform me that my Doctor is only available for few days that week. I ask to put my name if any cancellation and to please forward my message to my Doctor as she is aware about my surgery, but again have not heard from the centre. I rang in just about everyday and when I called the centre this morning, I been told that my Doctor is on leave until January 7th. Not happy at all.! I used to go to Odin Road medical centre for over 15 years and was so happy and content with their service. Receptionist are so lovely and welcoming. It truly is a family oriented centre. I was so sad when the second time I went back to this centre that the receptionist from Odin have left. :-( If you care about your health and the health of your family, DO NOT go to this centre.

Appalling wait times. Was there with an elderly client and waited well over 1 hour to be seen by Dr. Reception was nice about it but couldn't do anything to hurry it up. Dr was sitting in office with door open with no care in the world. Will be ensuring she finds a different centre.

Odin road medical centre staff and doctors are great. But other front staff / receptionists are not at all helpful. They cannot answer any questions. And it is not possible to make an appointment via phone. Quite disappointed

Dr Steve Dorevitch called and I explained the issue and he was very understanding. I have amended my review to reflect the excellent customer service Dr Dorevitch has provided. He is an asset to your practice.

Dr Joyce is the best doctor I have ever dealt with and have followed him from odin Rd medica centre. Sadly the staff on the desk here are so rude, incompetent and make you feel very unwelcome and can't even give you the correct email address or respond to most emails. Would be 5 if the old staff were on the desk still.

I have an excellent GP at this practice, unfortunately reception staff are rude and this has been an ongoing problem for years.

Odin Road medical/reception staff are lovely but the remaining reception staff are a disgrace to society. I never witnessed such rude and uncaring humans. It is a shame that Odin merged with such an unorganised and disrespectful business.

I had no other choice other than to leave after waiting for over an hour to see my Doctor today. Practice Management need to do a better job managing, allow more time for appointments, have a little bit more time in between appointments in case Doctors go over their time, but dont allow patients to book in at a time that was NEVER achievable! In this day and age no one has the luxury of an hour plus long wait in a Doctors surgery.

Rude receptionists. I love how long you have to wait to see a doctor even though youโ€™ve booked an appt but when youโ€™re 5-10 mins late theyโ€™ll refuse to see you.

I was transferred over to Stirling Lakes Medical Centre from Odin Rd Medical when the two practices amalgamated. Despite it being further away from my home, I was happy to follow my GP to Stirling Lakes Medical, but was rather apprehensive about the less-than-positive (and some scathing) reviews of the doctors, reception staff and practice management of Stirling Lakes Medical, and was prepared to be disappointed and potentially have to move elsewhere. To my surprise (and relief!), I have been very happy with my enforced move. Stirling Lakes Medical's waiting room is large, clean, bright and airy with comfortable chairs, and is never really crowded. Patients seem to flow through very quickly. There is a Clinipath pathology collection centre in the far corner which is really convenient for having blood samples taken on the spot. The treatment room where I had my COVID vaccinations and a recent ECG is similarly clean, bright, and well equipped, and staffed by helpful and knowledgeable nurses and trainees. The much-maligned reception staff are always busy and the phone never seems to stop ringing, but I've always found them to be polite and efficient, in particular the ever-helpful Gordana who has stepped in a few times to contact my GP on her days away from the practice to get an urgent referral for me or to email me test results in my GP's absence. She always goes the extra mile. Thanks, Gordana! For the tech-savvy, the online booking portal is great. You can make and cancel your appointments online at any time of the day or night, so no need to phone the practice and add to the load of the over-worked reception staff. Give it a try - it's so easy to use. Stirling Lakes Medical is also in a great location adjacent to the Roselea shopping centre and opposite Waldecks, so it's easy to combine your trip to your doctor with picking up the groceries or a new plant for the garden. So, all up, the move to this practice has been a positive one although I have further to drive now to see my GP. Yes, as part of a large medical group, IPN, it is a different culture, especially compared to that of the small doctor-owned Odin Rd Medical, but there are some definite advantages to being in a larger practice, such as Clinipath on site and enhanced facilities. Be grateful, people - I've been to far worse!
