We have moved to this area 2 years ago where everyone was talking positively about beatty park. My boys have been attending the classes since. I have found the classes very disorganized as an example instructors do not have any name tags and you will get confused where you belong specially if you are new to that class and level. And if you ask the front desk or just the instructors that are in the pool, they look at you like you are from another planet! My younger son had done almost 10 sessions without anyone assessing him until we asked why it is not happenning!!! And when he passed the class we have been told there is no availabilities on the new level and we was offered to stay on the previous level until who knows when a class become available?!! I just don't get this pool and the way it is running and I don't also get all of these 5 star reviews. I have been using another government pool and they were totally the opposite. They had very nice and friendly staff and very well organized! It is a shame that we are not close to that pool anymore!:(((

Beatty Park facilities are fantastic and exceptionally clean….. There is one concern that there are adult females that are deliberately expectorating sputum with huge amounts of efforts to cough sputum from their lungs and spit it into the showers whilst washing. This is a huge concern when we are all making efforts to eliminate the spread of germs. As a Intensive care nurse I find this very alarming and would encourage the exposure of visual signage clearly demonstrating that this is not tolerated. There are significant amounts of various organisms that can be transmitted through sputum and consideration for other members of the public should be respected.

SUPER DISAPPOINTED to the adult swimming school First of all, very poor communication. No flexibility with the class booking at all. No customer care at all. Second, there are so many payment issues with the adult swimming class, a few payments were deducted from my account without me starting a class properly. Third, it took so long to withdraw(still struggling with it). I certainly will not recommend any adults to join the swimming classes here.

Clean and good size pools for all ages just long queue for grab something from the cafe inside. More food/snack varieties and more staff on pick hours will make this place a better place to hangout. Cheers

Trainer and both manager are so discriminatory by action. Approached to manager for reason why my kids is not allowed to swim? Looking like Betty park is only reserved for members alike. Not not for public if they display and booked all for training purposes. I am truly not impressed and I will not recommend to any one, who doesn’t have membership tickets. I was loyal customer for past few months visiting, drinking coffee twice - thrice a week and today will my last day visiting this unwelcoming leisure Beast Water park.

This place offers one-stop leisure for kids, young modern people, mummies, daddies and elderly. One indoor pool and perhaps 3 outdoor swimming pools. Recently built saunas including silent sauna for those who needs some quiet time. Not forget to mention spa pool. Aerobic classes are fantastic, some classes are very popular that required you to book in advance. All the staffs are friendly. Need to notice that during the swimming lessons, the reception queue might take a bit longer than usual. It won’t be a problem for the members because you can just tap your membership to enter. Professional staffs at the creche that will take care of your child during your time for exercise.

Everything is awesome except the cafe. It’s been years since I’d been here and most of it is still fab but the cafe used to be brimming with lovely food choices and burgers and sandwiches and now it’s more like a coffee van’s food offering with chips. What a shame. Really fond memories of great food and service and had planned to buy kids lunches here but had to settle for hot chips and ice cream. Please bring back the lovely, healthy, fresh offerings of the old Beatty Park cafe!

We enrolled our son Daniel at Beatty park swim school very young age. Unfortunately with him needing surgery and then covid plus the renovation closures he didn’t get to attend many sessions. We recently commenced classes again and him being a toddler didn’t want to let go of daddy. Danielle was able to win his trust and he absolutely loves her and would not enter the water if she is jot there. This is amazing and clearly shows her lever of experience dealing with children so thank you Danielle. Our son depending on he has its challenges too and today i faced one which is why i am writing this review. We came in for our session and she was absent which is understandable considering the current environment. Lovely gentlemen was covering her class but he refused to go in. A young lady sarah with a black uniform noticed the struggle and offered to help. She went in with him knowing he will trust a female instructor and stayed with him almost towards the end and only left when my son had warmed up to the instructor. Honestly speaking she didn’t have to do that but went over and above to ensure he dose not miss out on his lesson which we really appreciate You can find a swimming pool i. Every suburb but even tough we have moved south of the river we still drive up every week and that only because of your amazing staff Thank you to all the team at this place and in particular Danielle and Sarah, you are simply the best

Incredible space to go with the young kids for a swim! Either during winter or on a scorching summers day, the water temperature is always pleasant. There is a small slide for the toddlers, and water splashes everywhere. A bigger slide is coming up soon!

An excellent sports centre and swimming pool. The indoor pool they keep at 31, a higher temperature than others in the area which is great if you're wanting to do rehab/walking or even a slower paced swim. The flexible memberships are great, though the constant patrolling of the spa/sauna area for wristbands does seem silly. They just need to put in a swipe card access or something similar.

Excellent facilities! Clean, helpful staff. Gym is very clean, staff, on ongoing basis are cleaning as users use. State-of-the-art gym equipment . Change rooms are always clean. They offer many classes in a variety of activities. This is top facility in WA. Prices are reasonable. There is something for everybody and every age. Love the mid-century vibe of the very cool cafe.

Fantastic - we had a brilliant day with our 6yr old granddaughter. The new slides are brilliant - lots of fun without being intimidating to younger kids. Same with the bucket - these buckets like Adventure World or Cockburn Arc are very loud, huge dump of water & can be scary to the younger ones but the smaller bucket at Beatty Park is fun & a great balance. The extra few degrees for the water is also a great attraction. Cafe was a little lack lustre just ok (maybe hot chips not done at right temp? powdery & odd tasting coffee), but enough for a snack & didn't overshadow the venue as a whole.

Great complex, good swimming pool and fitness centre facilities! Re Gym, classes. Good location close to public transport and car parking available around the complex and on the street. Staff are friendly, informed and helpful. Small swim and gym shop, and Cafe available. Competitive pricing. Good open hours.

Always lovely to come here for the kids swimming pool, i like to take the kids for swim in the afternoon and Beatty Park is the best as it is undercover swimming pool with lots of special slice and toys for kids. The cafe just right next to the swimming pool so convenience for the parent to stay dry and watch kids swimming. Parking also very easy and the entry is reasonable price

Every single thing is very nice. Indoor and outdoor spaces are great places for people who love water playing:) Only one thing I can’t love is that there are under the renovation for two outdoor pools among three of them.

I've been going to this swimming pool since I was a teenager- which is a few decades let me tell you. It's still one of my faves - clean and spacious with very friendly staff. One of the few places with a steam room as well as a sauna and spa. I recently was absent for a few weeks and the centre emailed me to ensure all was well and when they found out I had to quarantine due to interstate travel they offered me an extension on my membership- back dated! Great gym and fitness classes and a physio service also. One stop shop for health. Recommended. 👍

Love this pool, I could not say enough good things about it, outdoors, geothermal heated in winter, 10 - 50 meter lanes, 3 saunas and a steam room. Staff are friendly and you can tell they have pride in their facility and it’s history in Perth. Only thing I would love to see added is a ice cold pool for after the sauna.

Massive to say the least. So many different lanes inside the leisure centre for kids and adults alike. Water polo also available along with a well equipped gymnasium. Small food court but remains busy all time around. Very nice place to bring your kids around and play in water and slides.

Beauty Park is full of action for a public pool of Perth. There are quite a few with 3 outdoor pools. Plenty of nostalgia being surrounded with the old stadium seating. Lots of lounge chairs available although grass is at a premium. We settled in for a good 3 hrs only limited by the parking restrictions even though our spot was a bit of a walk away. Good vibe with a fully diverse swimming crowd and good separation lapping and leisure. We will be back for sure. Very thankful the City of Vincent with free wifi were able to get this venue refurbished as it is so more enjoyable than the more clinical HBF Stadium.

Love all the updates that have been done since I was last here. The new slides are great and the big bucket that tips over is fantastic fun fir the kids!

Great venue, convenient location, spectacular appearance. Olympic size pool. Reasonably priced - only 10 times cheaper than any private splash park located a couple of light years away from the city, although not exactly the same…

Beatty Park Recreation Centre provides a decent environment for fitness enthusiasts, but there is room for improvement. The facility offers a range of amenities, including a gym and swimming pool, catering to various fitness preferences. However, it's worth noting that some areas could benefit from updates. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere of the center. However, a more proactive approach to updating and modernising equipment would significantly elevate the overall appeal of Beatty Park Recreation Centre. In summary, while Beatty Park Recreation Centre provides a satisfactory fitness environment, investing in updates and improvements would undoubtedly enhance the overall experience for patrons.

It was a great time for us and the kids. Loved the slides and the playground. The structure of it allowed both my 2 year old and 5 year old to get comfortable with the water and then try new skills. Definitely our new favourite swim place!

I’ve been long time coming to Beatty park… for a few decades now. And that’s IF you can find a car park. The parking situation, especially at peak times or on hot days is ridiculous for a complex this size. The pools are great and spacious but it’s just disappointing that you can’t even park. Second of all for my 3 star rating: the public gym. The layout does not allow for much cool down or stretch space. The gym has shoved the most tiniest area to grab a mat to cool down and it’s near impossible to do so. And instead, all huge weights equipment is taking up a huge empty space on the other side near the windows. I hope management reads this and takes this feedback into consideration. I won’t stop attending the gym, it just won’t be as often because of the above issues.

Great place! Great facilities and really fun playground. The staff are wonderful too, the girls at the front are always friendly and sweet to my little 3yo. It just makes the whole experience a joy from start to finish.

Great pool for young kids, plenty of space to swim around in. They have a little frog slide for the tiny kids and 2 larger slides for kids a bit older. Can get very busy

been swimming all my life across 6 countries and this center has probably the best pool facilities! main 50m pool is very spacious, even during busy times. sauna is excellent addition as well, very nice to finish practice session with the sauna visit. there is also a 30m pool, 12m pool and indoors 25m pool.. for those just wanting to chill there are few chairs or grassy area to tan. very cool place:)

Best Les Mills Body Attack gym that consistently has had classes approx. the same time over the past 10+ years. The gym is also renovated and looks immaculate. The downside is that it is getting incredibly hard to find parking during peak hours (5:30pm on a weekday).

Swimming water was not warm enough, not many life guards around or watching. The cafe is a joke. Over $17 for a "family size" chips and a "large coffee" 1, the chips were stale and disgusting. They had an empty container of chicken salt also which was more like regular salt. 2, the "large coffee" was more like the size of a small medium. How the cafe can get away with charging those ridiculous prices is beyond me. They do not even have their own page to make leave reviews on I am aware it is run externally. Will not reattend.

Just signed up to Beatty park and it is the best! So many classes and facilities to enjoy. Early morning classes in studio 2 are amazing, with the large windows showcasing the sunrise, it’s amazing! All the trainers are really professional and I would recommend joining in grit or throw down with trainer Colin
