We had such a fun day out in the Swan Valley winery region. There were only 5 of us on the tour and they were a great bunch of people. Tim was so friendly and very knowledgeable about Perth and the Swan Valley. The wineries were different and interesting and the lunch and wine tasting spot was a highlight with such a great view. One of the best tours I have ever been on. Myself and my friend Bec decided to do a winery tour last minute. It ended up only being the two of us and it was fantastic! Tim was such an awesome tour guide and even acted as our own personal photographer, what more can I ask for! The day was an absolute success, from tours through the wineries, to cheese platters, to a gourmet lunch to photos through the vineyards.. there was nothing I could fault. We were treated like VIP guests at each winery and were made to feel important and special. I highly recommend booking through Best of Perth Tours rather than the big group coaches. We had done a few Swan Valley tours before but this one definitely stands out. Tim was so knowledgeable on the region, his passion for the history of Swan Valley made the tour really special. We got tours of the wine making process and got to see the best of Swan Valley. We had a great day and definitely recommend this tour.

This was a great tour visiting several Swan Valley wineries. Tim, our guide, went a little out of his way to pick us up and drop us off at our motel. He was very friendly, but also professional, and managed to keep us cool on an extremely hot day! He filled us in on the history of Perth and the Swan Valley, and was happy to answer any questions we had during the day. All the wineries were different, and provided interesting and generous tastings. Our lunch was lovely and the visit to the Chocolate Factory at the end was great. There was plenty of opportunity for souvenir shopping during the day, and it was great to be in a small group, where there was opportunity to interact with fellow guests. Highly recommended.

This small group tour is one of the best day tour Ive taken. Not only was I picked up right from the hotel door Tim the owner of the company actually guides and escorts his own tours. He does this to ensure 100% quality and ensure everyone is well informed and looked after. Being a small group we were able to visit and experience some of the oldest wineries and meet the generations of families that have run these smaller wineries that the big groups can’t access. The wine, tastings, cheese platter and lunch was way more than expected topped of with a visit to an amazing chocolate tasting extravaganza. The tour was such a personal experience and Tim was a fantastic guide I would recommend this tour to everyone.

We had a fabulous day in the Swan Valley. Tim was a brilliant guide - knowledgeable but personable and down to earth, made everyone feel welcome. The wineries were well curated mixing bigger wineries with small family owned cellars but never feeling touristy. We left with far more knowledge than we had going in, and having had a wonderful day in the Swan Valley. Tim’s passion and attention to detail comes through and we would wholeheartedly recommend this tour.

I had an amazing time on my tour around Perth (Kings Park, a wildlife park, wine tasting in Swan Valley and lunch, and the beach). This tour is a great sample platter of everything Perth has to offer. I didn’t have much time to see the city and was so thankful to find the Best of Perth Tours, which offered a personal experience. It was fun to get to know the small group of people in my tour over the day. For everything that is included the value is phenomenal. I originally looked at doing some of these activities on my own but the cost and time (via public transit or Uber) involved would have made it impossible to do in one day. I felt the timing of each activity was just right and I never felt rushed. My guide —Tim— was awesome, considerate, and very knowledgeable. I think my favourite part of the tour is a tossup between meeting the koalas and kangaroos or the lunch and wine tasting. Just a perfect day. I highly recommend to anybody visiting Perth.

It’s our first time in Perth and we booked the one day Swan Valley Winery tour and it was amazing! Tim was super nice and welcoming, also of course knows all the wineries and everything about wines! It was a great pleasure to travel with him! Will definitely recommend this to whoever visiting in the future ☺️

I recently did the VIP Swan Valley Wine Tour. The whole day was a lovely experience. Being in a small group enabled me to interact with all participants throughout the day and share experiences. Nothing was rushed. We had plenty of opportunity to speak with the wine makers at all venues. Tim was a fantastic guide. He took us to smaller wineries that larger groups can’t get access to. I’m a big fan of the boutique, family-based wineries – you could feel their love and passion for what they do, and they all provided a very personal service. You don’t often get this at the larger, more commercially focussed wineries. I plan to do this tour again next time I’m in Perth.

We were so lucky to be able to join the Swan Valley winery tour of Best of Perth Tours. The tour was ideal because the company gives its tour only in a small group, and Tim, our great host, was good at creating friendly atmosphere letting us feel well-taken-care-of. Though I am not a big wine drinker, the four wineries had different features, lunch was great and Swan Valley was a beautiful place to drive along, so time passed surprisingly quickly. Thank you, Tim, for the lovely memory of Perth.

Awesome tour!!! Enjoyed the sightseeing at Kings Park and the tasty snack prepared by our tour guide Tim. Though this was not a VIP wine tour but we sure felt like VIPs given the small group size of 5 😊 We did the Very Best of Perth Tour - Caversham Wildlife Park and City Sightseeing Tour on 25 Oct 2019. The wine tasting at Carilley Estate was superb and my favourite part of the tour. My favourite was the Rosé 2015 and Chenin Viognier 2013 (if you have a sweet tooth like me). Tim was just as knowledgeable as the guy over the counter in wine tasting and quality of the wine. The lunch was fantastic and the pairing of my wine with my main course was classic. Thanks to friendly staff at Carilley for their advice on what type of wine to pair with my main course 😊 Another favourite part of the tour for me was the feeding of the kangaroos at Caversham. Tim was knowledgable about the animals at Caversham Wildlife Park as well. He knew most of their habits and knew how what makes them tick. Do join this tour if you are looking for a really personal tour and a knowledgeable guide who knows about animals at the wildlife park!! 😉 A must-go-to tour if you are looking for a similar VIP experience on other tours and trust me it cannot get any personal as this. Recommended for anyone who has no clue what to do in Perth 😊 Will leave some photos for your consideration. P.S. Hi Tim, my mom and I enjoyed our time. Thanks for helping us to plan the rest of our Sat. We went back to freo for fish ‘n’ chips and gelatossimo ice cream instead of going for Subi. Taking this opportunity to give a big shout out to Tim and Best of Perth Tours for a fantastic trip around some quality craft breweries on the Swan Valley Craft Beer Tour last weekend. It was a pleasure dealing with Tim from an initial website enquiry about organising a gift certificate for a friend's milestone birthday, through a couple of phone calls and on the day of the tour itself (when a couple of us joined our friend on the tour). I couldn't speak highly enough about what a memorable and well-organised experience this was, and it was also great to meet other like-minded people on the bus - and all just a few minutes drive away from Perth. For those who like their craft beer (like we do), do yourself a favour, and get in touch with Tim!

Recently did the Swan Valley VIP Wine Tour with Tim with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. Tim is an excellent tour guide who selected 4 interesting and unique wineries that captured the history of the swan valley. There were only 3 couples on the tour so very boutique and engaging. The brewery tour was a birthday surprise for my husband and his brother, they had such an amazing day together, and had a great day with the guide Tim. Tim went out of his way for me, as the two boys were the only ones on the tour, there is a minimum requirement for 4 people, he went ahead anyway despite only being the two of them, and he showed them a great time. They went to several different spots, had a beautiful lunch, they hadn’t had a day together in over 20 years and this was just perfect. Tim was like a mate to them and I can’t thank him enough for going ahead and putting this tour on for them. We will definitely be doing it again with our big group of friends and look forward to seeing Tim again. Thank you so much.

Had a really lovely day in the Swan Valley with 6 people on a wine tour. Tim was very knowledgeable about the area and wines and took us to some beautiful boutique wineries that we might have otherwise missed. The communication prior to the tour was excellent and it was awesome being able to design a day that suited the group. Would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful day out with Tim. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the region, the wines and the wine makers but is also a very attentive host. Three of the four wineries we visited were family owned and run so you get more of a one on one wine tasting experience. If you are looking for a winery tour in Perth then Tim is your man.

We had the best VIP Swan Valley Wine tour the reason we chose this tour was for the small group Max 10 our host/ tour guide Tim was very engaging made you feel comfortable and welcome Tim had so much knowledge and shared with us his journey from how he started to his knowledge of wines the history of the boutique wineries he showed us and his knowledge of the Swan Valley area. His thoughtful planning and looking after his guests were impeccable We enjoyed all the wineries we visited each of them had their own individual uniqueness Our first winery Twin Hill Wines had the best cheese board and Twany Port they also offered postage at a flat rate Our lunch at Mandoon was to die for And you got to choose a wine of your choice with lunch I had the Barramundi We than visited John Kosovich Wines I felt privileged to of met that delightful lady she has so much knowledge The whole place was so beautiful We visited Olive Form wines Frank the dispenser was awesome And last the Margaret River chocolate shop that seemed to be wall to wall full of chocolate and more wine to taste at the Providore I highly recommend this awesome VIP Swan Valley Wine tour Thankyou Tim
