Always a nice walk across the bridge, awesome design and structure. Was great to see the big football there for grand final week. Plenty wide enough to fit people across on busy match days. can’t wait to do the climb and zip line when it comes available.

Whats not to love or admire about this beautiful art piece? This is such a gorgeous bridge, it is soley a pedestrian bridge, so no traffic. It crosses you over to the Optus Stadium. At night it lights up with colours, I wish I took more videos of it when it was lit up. The black side of the bridge blends in the with night sky and only the white part (that lights up) is exposed, making the bridge look even more cooler at night. So creative! Perth is such an artistic city. It took maybe less than 4mins to walk across it. You can see Optus Stadium in its glory as you walk across, the view of the lake is very pretty. It is a very romantic bridge in my opinion.

You mite be lucky to see it on a night that it continually changes colours, or you mite be unlucky as my partner when she come over from NSW, it was just on the one colour. You just don't know when it's changing or just a continuous colour one night to the next

Easy walking bridge across the river to Optus stadium with great views and a park area the other side. Benches for sitting and looking out at the water and big islands in the middle of the bridge to sit too. Accessible friendly and well lit at night.

This is a masterpiece of architecture and well worth a visit. There is ample parking on the west side and easy access via a long gradual ramp for wheelchairs, scooters and bikes. The bridge takes you directly to the Optus Stadium which is worth a visit too.

An iconic structure, blend of art, technology and engineering put to create a marvel. A good location for old and young to enjoy and indulge in adventures, climbing the arch of the bridge, sliding from the top of the bridge to the river bank, under the guidance and supervision of trained and safety conscious staff.

The Matagarup Bridge is a stunning suspension pedestrian bridge spanning the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia. It has quickly become a beloved landmark and a popular tourist destination. Overall, the Matagarup Bridge is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Perth. It offers a unique and exciting way to experience the city and its beautiful surroundings.

Thanks to the staff for such a wonderful and memorable evening. We took our Mum for her 70th- as she has been wanting to do the express zip and climb since it first opened. She ended up almost backing out at the last minute as got scared- but once she realised she would just “sit” in the harness without a drop (and a smooth, gliding start) was reassured. The staff were; absolutely amazing, friendly, fun, helpful, accommodating and supportive (as our group of 4 was late to start and behind the entire climb). They made an effort to know everyone’s names so that they would offer comments of support (the experience wasn’t anything extreme- but probably a first time climbing and zip lining for most- so staff seemed to keep that in mind). A wonderful acknowledgment and story of the city and country’s original inhabitants was told before the climb and was so interesting to hear (won’t give away the spoilers). We have decided to recreate the entire day again with our dad in 2 years. Hope we have the same experience with the same staff.

Awesome Twilight Zip+Climb last night! So magical with the sun setting during our climb. Thanks Alexis and Lloyd for making the climb loads of fun! We loved the cool vibe you gave whilst keeping us safe and thanks all the information about the area too! Definitely recommend the twilight climb. The lights on the Bridge and Optus are amazing!

Its a great tourist attraction and a shortcut from East Perth to the Optus Stadium or the Casino.. Every night theres a change in light colours.. My visit was to see the lights.. Tonight and for the next fortnight or so it will be bathed in purple light to commemorate the passing of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II..

A good pedestrian bridge to walk on. Looks pretty beautiful during night time when millions of led’s are switched on.
