Tallest treetop lookout in the world! Not available for climbing when we visited in Aug 2023. Flushing toilets available, nice and clean. A 10 min "stroll" trail (very overgrown) and a 4 hour walking trail available.

I climbed that tree after Gloucester tree and I found that one a bit more impressive. It was windy in the arvo so I stopped at the first platform since it was saying it was getting a bit tricky. Keep in mind there's more visitors at Gloucester tree than that can help.

This is truly amazing, we highly recommend but if you don't like heights then it's definitely not for you, but still definitely worth a look and there's also the bush walk.

I actually can't believe that we were still allowed to climb the bicentennial tree. Such an incredible experience but definitely not for the faint of heart (or knee)! It surely can't be long before they shut this down for public climbing, if it's on your bucket list, get doen here and get up there.

We climbed this tree on a dry, sunny, winters day, about lunch time, and happily made it to the first platform. I’m now 54, and I first climbed the tree when I was 12. I have climbed it twice again in in my 20s and 30s. Ideally, there would be some harnesses and safety ropes available these days, for people to use, and to make the tree safer for visitors. Hopefully this will happen soon, for others to have a go, and enjoy climbing. ☺️

A boys childhood dream come true for me! World's highest climbable treetop lookout. You need to have some stamina to climb it but it doesn't include anything too sketchy. You are literally just walking stairs. Its more of a mental challange if you are scared of height though. Would recommend 10\10 entrance was free when we were there unlike the Gloucester tree...

Wow that was a big climb. It’s metal rods for the first two sections then the very top is platforms and ladders (a lot easier). Please keep in mind that this climb is quite dangerous and if it’s windy, wet, or you’re not physically fit - don’t climb this thing. If none of that is the case though, it’s well worth the view!

Good spot to forge fungi during rains. The climb over to the top of the tree was a but slippery so take caution 👍🏽

The tree ladder was under maintenance and not accessible for climbing. The two kilometres of gravel road from the main road to the entrance made me question my choices. I'll definitely add it to my wishlist for the next revisit, hoping the road will be easier to drive by then.

This was such an awesome thing to do. I climbed all the way to the top and the view was amazing. The rungs of the ladder are very secure and there is a steel net that surrounds you as you climb. There is no harnas or other form of safety measure. You must not be afraid of heights or have a health condition.

Very fun to climb here, feels strage to be so easy to fall and no safety measures but it’s worth the climb

Appropriate footwear must be worn when attempting to climb, the adrenaline you’ll feel to reach the top is a good motivation to keep climbing just don’t look downwards it will make you nervous 😆😁

Only idiots climb this tree, my husband is one of them. I’m sure this doesn’t adhere to health and safety regulations. Great attraction but needs some investment to make it a safe climb, otherwise someone will fall and hurt themselves. My husband is suffering today! Lovely spring flowers and birds.

Not for the feint-hearted. Nearly 90 metres off the ground. Scared of heights? Then don't do it. Not strong and fit? Don't do it. But the view at the top is absolutely amazing. My leg muscles were aching the next few days. Glad I did it though.

Amazing views at the top of the tree. It is 65m high so not recommended for anyone afraid of heights. There are various platforms located during the climb with the first one roughly half way up. So for anyone who isn't confident, you can climb to the first platform as a sort of test. At the top there is another 4 platforms located one after the other to allow plenty of time for sightseeing at the top. Allow 30min-1hr as the climbing space is only safe enough for one way traffic. Waiting at each platform to allow groups coming up/down is necessary.

My secret hideout so I shouldn't spruik it, but it's an awesome spot. better get in quick before the health and safety police closes these trees down

Pretty cool tree. Climbed it after hiking the warren trail. It seems to be busy at midday. I went on it in the afternoon when there were no climbers. I personally wouldn't let my kids (don't have any) climb it but others did.

How awesome is this tree. 70m of climb into the forest canopy. No safety harness just common sense and your own sense of self preservation! Long may it stay accessible to all.

Wow, it looks scary, but the pins actually feel pretty safe when you start climbing. What's going on with the parking? It's quite expensive, I guess trying to pay for the maintenance.

The world's tallest climbable tree. Recommended for anyone who's is fairly fit and isn't afraid to take a bit if a risk (and certainly not afraid of heights). The view from the top is astounding. Sunset was simply perfect from up here 👌🏼 Those Karri trees look surreal!

Not for the faint of heart! This thrill seeker tourist attraction is one to tick off the bucket list. No harness or attachments just an 65 metre climb, keeping in mind however high you climb you still have to make it back down. Luckily in comparison to the Gloucester tree about half way up is a platform to take a moment before continuing the ascension. With panoramic views at every turn definitely a worthwhile experience. Unfortunately once we got to the top it did get very windy and wet which made for a terrifying decent but I'm glad to have done it. Give it a go if your brave enough! - 3 points of contact required.

    Great tree 🌲

Great experience climbing to the top and overlooking the canopy of the forest below. Not for the faint-hearted as it is a loooong way up. Vertigo will set in if you suffer from it. There are no ropes, no harnesses, just you and your hands and your nerve getting you up and down. But worth it.
