Eucla Jetty

Tourist attraction β€’ Historical landmark

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful white sand and blue beach. We walked down there and it was worth it!! Remember leave some marks on the way to the beach - such as stone, long foot print etc- to get back to your car. Otherwise you can lost when you come back. People often mention beach, jetty, walk, sand,

The remains of the old Jetty are not particularly impressive and the beach is overrun by seaweed but there is a wonderful sense of history and a beautiful surroundings that made the visit more than worth it. It is a little tricky finding your way from the old telegraph station ruins through the dune vegetation but certainly fun to drive. The vegetation provided good cover for camping.

What a great find!! But be careful the western road in is sand not suitable for caravan's 🀣 walk in is about 700m and the marsh flies are very welcoming 🀣🀣 totally worth the effort though!!!

Unless you're up for a long walk, you really need a 4wd to access jetty. Wish we had known this before driving out here. Pic is walk back from ruins to carpark.

It's about 15 minutes walk from the Telegraph station towards the beach. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area. Walk towards the big tree on the way back to get to the carpark.

Such a beautiful peaceful place. Only a short easy walk from the old telegraph ruins. Use Google maps if you feel unsure.

It's a bit of a walk, but it's well worth it. Saw the old Telegraph station first and then onto the jetty. The only problem was that there wasn't any distinct track to the jetty. Beautiful view, though.

Just use Google map to check the direction if you are not sure where to go. It's really easy to miss the way because there are no trails. You could just see other people's footsteps and qaud trace on the sand.

Old Jetty in the dunes. Supplies for Eucla coming by sea before the road was sealed.

Have a good look at the old telegraph station then venture down the track to the old jetty, great to see the beach and the Great Australian Bight.

Beautiful beach and jetty. Caught a 49cm Flathead off the beach and snapped some photos of the jetty and sunset.
