Decided to have breakfast here after an early morning walk along the beach. First timer. Very convenient location. A little busy and that is a good thing. Great coffee and breakfast was excellent.

Nice location, has been renovated a few times over the years. Bit pricey now, and quality of goods has gone down unfortunately. Cant even get kids milkshakes right. My two kids couldn't drink their milkshakes, their $9 each milkshakes as they said they were disgusting. I took a sip of both and it definitely wasn't how a milkshake should taste. Maybe it was just a bad day. Atmosphere was really good. Begrudgingly give it 3 stars based on previous experiences.

Have been coming here regularly for 2 years. Great location and friendly staff. Of late, it's become more expensive unfortunately, considering the quality of the food. This morning I paid $9.50 for 2 burnt crusts of raisin toast. Should have sent back but was so hungry. More attention to detail is required from them in relation to the food or they risk losing regulars.

What a great little beach cafe serving good quality food at a reasonable price. Found this cafe to be very family friendly and the staff were very nice. A great place for a bite after a swim or walk on the beach. Highly recommend.

Took my mum for a coffee and cake here last week at 2pm. No cakes were on display and had to ask to see them. I asked if they were about to shut as I served coffee in takeaway cups and the cake in a plastic container with plastic spoons. The server was adamant that the manager was not serving anything other than paper cups. They were not shutting at 5.00 so no idea why we couldn’t have one of the several China cups. No only is this tacky but bad for the environment..

The menu reads well however it belies what you receive. Hardly cooked roesti, raw spinach & very bad hollandaise sauce. Do not order a soy chai - it is as awful!! I presume bad soy milk & poor quality chai syrup. I complained & they refunded me which I really appreciated.

Great place!! They made me bust a nut with their amazing lunch special. Chips and gravy so good. I will be back to bust again

Sorry but this place was not a good experience. Food very overpriced for what it is, cheap ingredients, a lot of deep fried toxic rubbish. Coffee very bad. I requested a small green salad to replace the chips with a fish burger & was told no. So ordered just the burger & was charged the Same price. Had an upset stomach for the rest of the day. It’s a shame as it’s a great location if it was given a revamp & healthier menu.

Been coming to Coogee for a swim for few years and call in to Cafe for toasty and coffee. Today was after 12 and was told in unfriendly manner that I must have chips with toasty or pay same price for toasty as if with chips. Not possible to get toasty alone after 12, in a take it or leave it, don't care attitude. Left and will never go again. Just a short way down the road went to "THE SURFING LIZARD" for excellent and friendly service. Goodbye Coogee Cafe, regret that we supported you all this time.

Convenient Cafe in close proximity to the beach. Friendly staff fast service with vinegar for fish and chips. Large servings buts still kinda pricey for average F&C.

Disappointed with service attitude and price. They have 'fish and chips' for $18. Asked for extra piece of fish, no extra chips, and price now $37.50. Then go to eat it and everything really dry and overcooked. No need to waste power overcooking - putting up their cost and customer wait time. Rant over - guess the positive is that it wasn't greasy. Terrible service, food and atmosphere. Very expensive and staff were rude. Won’t be visiting again. Instead of going here go to Beach point cafe, a 2 min walk up the road for amazing service, food and reasonable prices

Great food, good value with generous serving sizes. The staff were nice and friendly and even though it was busy we didn't have long to wait for our food. One star lost because the coffee was really bad. They obviously use cheap coffee and don't have barista trained staff. Our overall experience was good and would definitely return for a nice meal.

Great food Big servings Was about $24 per person for a main. My mum couldnt finish all of hers. Staff were friendly. Just what you want by the beach

Great mochas! I love ordering mochas because I love the taste, and it also tests how well the barista can froth the milk and give a good chocolate to coffee ratio. The barista here nailed it with both soy milk and oat milk! Great cafe to chill at the near beach and park.

Nice place to chill and have a meal and coffee before walking to Coogee Beach. Lunch starts at 1130am so if you're earlier than that they do serve breakfast. Service is prompt and friendly!

Was there early Saturday morning. Not many people. Love eating outdoors with the sun and cool sea breeze. Service is good. I enjoyed my full breakfast and mango smoothie 👌🏾👍🏾

This place doesn't sell any Aussie local fresh fish. Over priced, $2.00 for tomato sauce. Service poor. Go somewhere else.

Simple but fresh and flavourful I had the Cajun chicken salad, I would have liked a bit more chicken in it but the salad and dressing was filling and delish! The boyfriend ate the meat plate which filled him up! The mango smoothie was also creamy and delicious.

Definitely have to go there when you're in Coogee beach. The steak burger was delicious and the chips as well. The food came out really quick even when they were busy

On a cold frosty morning it was warm & inviting. (Providing one is inside whilst cold wind blowing.) Service was quick and professional. The coffee was very hot, which is what I requested and tasty. Not bitter like some. Lots of people. Lots of laughter. Great environment. Thank you for an enjoyable visit. Wish you well. /

👍👍 Had lunch here and we were very impressed with the food. We ordered the salad with chicken, the rice noodle soup with mushrooms and the pancakes. All were well presented and very tasty. I’d definitely go back and try the breakfast dishes next. It was a very cold spring day but I was still surprised...

😠 Worst fish and chips ever. Fish was more like jerky, batter was thicker than the fish, the one piece that was edible had a hair in it. Place was run by kids, no hair nets, no hats, long hair not tied up, girl kept scratching her head but continued serving food, young lad using his T-shirt to open sa...

👍👍 Surprised to find that I can customize my continental roll. Their kransky and relish roll was the best, wish they had it on the main menu. I think there’s a deal toastie and coffee for $12.50 not in the photos. Croatian donut balls only on Friday and Saturday I believe.
