    I bought an outdoor lounge set from Harvey Norman Osbourne Park that was delivered broken and unusable. Mistakes happen, and I contacted Annie from Harvey Norman to organise a replacement. Her dismissiveness, poor communication and lack of proactiveness in resolving the matter made me increasingly nervous, and I eventually requested a refund. This led to a rather nasty confrontation with Annie, who was rude, snarky and aggressive over the phone. Please, avoid this place at all costs. The furniture may be nice but the aftercare service is disgusting. UPDATE: We had received email confirmation that a refund would be processed on Monday the 1st November. As instructed, we waited three days for it to be processed on to the credit card. By Thursday 4th November, no funds had been received and we called Harvey Norman for an update. The Manager had apparently processed this as a store credit. Not only have they not honoured their refund policy and the consumer guarantee, they have also not honoured their promise to a refund as per their email correspondence to us. Yet again, we have been the ones to follow up Harvey Norman to ensure they honour their promises and customer guarantees. @Harvey Norman - could I please obtain an email address of someone at your head office to talk about my concerns with this store?

    Not normally my favourite place to shop for electronics. However today was an exception, I went to The Good Guys for a bench top oven, not only I could not get any help from any of the sale person the pricing was not as competitive as I thought. The service at Harvey Norman was top notch, I was not rushed the lady explained between the different brands and models. Even helped me to carry out to the car as my little one fallen asleep in my arms. $50 different between the two shop for the same items.

    Just Got A New Washing Machine. Great Service By Harvey Norman Again. Great Prices. See You Again Soon For A New Dryer As Our Old One Is Just About Had It.

    The customer service experience from the store was exceptional from the moment I walked in, having the pleasure of dealing with Annie in furniture the customer service manager was second to none. I do not normally leave reviews but as I was so happy I thought I’d make an exception! Upon doing so I have seen a rude nasty review and I could only imagine the lady who left it must have been such hard work dealing with that she couldn’t even get along with the nicest of employees shame on her! And keep doing a great job Annie and all of Harvey Norman Osbourne park team!👏

    Really disappointed. Ordered dining chairs in April and was told 8-10 weeks “but if it comes earlier then you’ll be happy with me” was what they said. That would make it start of July. Then I was told “end of July” but we’re now coming up to the last week of July. Can’t get a straight answer. I know covid and other issues caused delays in the last couple of years, but since borders opened I’ve had dining tables and security doors arrive ahead of schedule. It’s also about expectation management. In peak void with borders closed I bought a couch and happily waited 4+ months because I was told it was that or possibly longer. It’s fine if you are just upfront and honest with your customers about the wait time. I just don’t like feeling like I’m being lied to to make a sale. Already disappointed before I’ve even received the product. Can’t imagine ever going back to Osborne Park Harvey Norman or any Harvey Norman for that matter. I guess you’re not counting on repeat customers or customer recommendations for business.

    I bought a Linen House plush heated throw rug last week. It barely warmed when on the highest setting for one hour as per instructions. I returned the next day to Harvey Norman Osborne Park WA and they turned it on and the throw rug did heat because it was folded so the few warm spots heated the blanket quite well while folded. They refused me a refund and stated that it was not faulty whilst also stating that they would not be able to resell it (because its faulty?). I had to bring it back home and guess what. When it’s turned on and flat (as per instructions and as it is actually used), it is again barely warming in a few spots with plenty of cold spots. When used at the recommended setting of four it would be difficult to distinguish from a non heated throw. This is the third heated throw I've bought, so I know how they should work, I know that they do not get 'hot', but they should warm evenly across the rug and actually feel warm. Can’t believe this service from Harvey Norman. Previously I’ve had good experiences and I’ve spent a lot of money at Harvey Norman Osborne Park. No more. It’s soured my opinion of HN permanently. I haven't bothered returning, I've ditched the rug and purchased a new one which actually does heat. So thanks Harvey Norman for the not so fabulous and very ordinary customer service.

    My family and I went to Harvey Norman on Scarborough on Sunday morning. We purchased two fridges and a washing machine and was very well advised and the service from Brett was outstanding. He was amazing. However, once we arrived at the cashier to pay the girl who took our payment was very mean and disrespectful. She was chatting with her co-worker and didn't even acknowledge us. Not even "Hi" nothing at all !!! It looked like she was annoyed because we interrupted her conversation. We said "Hi" to her and she didn't reply back, she just gave us an horrible look and hand us the machine to pay and gave us our receipt and turned her back to us and resumed her conversation with her friend. That was an horrible experience and feeling. She should be trained who to treat and greet customers because sometimes we go back to a store, not for their products but for their outstanding service. So disappointing. Unfortunately she didn't have a name badge, she has half pink hair on one side and half black hair on the other side.

    We were assisted by Kim, she was so helpful in helping us decide on a Dining Table. She was not pushy and was able to answer all our queries. We visited the store several times before we made a decision and every time she was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. She is the reason we purchased from Harvey Norman as we could've purchased a similar table elsewhere!

    Patrick from the TV/tech department was amazing! He helped as a huge amount with price and was super friendly and professional. He is obviously quite knowledgeable and my hubby and I would highly recommend him for your tech purchases or enquiries.

    What a big shop with one of the largest variety of products on the floor and in stock. It was a great pleasure dealing with the friendly staff and the manager carted the massive printer I bought with a trolley to my vehicle. Ash thank you for the great service. Keep it up and hope to see you soon. I can recommend them highly.

    EDIT: They solved my problem! I reported the problem with the fridge I bought and they scheduled a delivery of a new one to me! The new fridge just arrived and it's perfect. Thank you all ;) I'm a little disappointed with my experience with Harvey Norman. Here's the thing: I bought a second-hand fridge on Friday and went to the store today for the pick-up. I'm moving today, so I went with the truck I rent to pick up the fridge, cause that was in our route. The first problem was that on Friday they told me to pick it up on Sunday at 469/475 Scarborough Beach Rd, Osborne Park WA 6017. I went there with the truck and gave the staff my receipt. They left me waiting for almost half an hour until came again and say that I should pick the fridge up on the other side of the road (the second-hand store, where I bought it on Friday). That cost me $40, cause I was paying $80 for the removals company. Anyway, we went to the other side of the street straight away and one of the staff brought the fridge with a trolly. We put it together in the truck against the wall and tied it. Arriving at the new house, when I opened the package, that was a hole in the back of the fridge. And I was like, what?!? Now I turned it on to see if it works, but I'd like to change to another one, because they told me I have three years of warranty and I JUST UNPACKED it! And even if the fridge is working for now, I don't know if this could give me problems in the future...

    I would like to thank Kris in the bedding department. I went to go buy a mattress with zero knowledge and she gave me a full lowdown on the mattress types that was very clear and non pushy the just the way it should be done after that she helped me pick out my sheets and pillows. Absolute professionalism very impressed!

    Bad experience from furniture department Thought we would take advantage of the black Friday sales and brought an office desk. Having been told they had one in stock and could be collected from their warehouse, we made the trip to collect the following morning. When we arrived the warehouse staff told us the the one in stock had been assembled by a trainee and is in a managers office somewhere. We travelled the 15km back to Osbourne Park and was assured that the desk was in A1 condition and could be delivered to our house already assembled free of charge and they would ensure it was bubble wrapped for protection . This was done today however the desk was not wrapped and came in two pieces. On examination the assembly looked like it had been assembled by a trainee with many parts incorrectly assembled and essential screws and cam clamps missing. Another trip to Osbourne park and chat to the sales rep who was very apologetic and offered to find and order a replacement (4 to 6 weeks wait) I was then confronted with the customer service manager who went straight into defensive mode talking over my attempts to explain the situation and relay my frustration of broken promises and commitments. Eventually we agreed that the desk will be replaced with new when available and up to that time the defective item will remain and be used. The team at Osbourne Park really need to get their act together and listen to customers feedback rather than trashing their comments. Information on names dates etc available on request.

    Good service. Staff/manager that helped us was not so pleasant to start with when we met him 1st but think only because his junior didn't give the right impression, then manager was great with us and have had multiple times where he has served us & been always patient & polite with correct information. May need to train juniors a bit more to understand what customers are looking for before selling them a product that is going to fail for sure & cause trouble for the customer

    We purchased a bed from the Osborne Park shop and had a problem assembling it. Spoke to Andrew in Bedding a number of times, he was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the bed. However I was not able to resolve the issue, he offered to came to the house before he started work the next day and I was able to finish installing the bed. Andrew was polite and helpful. He came out on a very hot morning and within 30 minute solved the problem. Thanks again.
