Yalgorup Park is quite extensive and includes some walking trails picnic areas and scenic views. There are also some good birding areas for those interested.

Lots of walks and very old thrombolites exit here and so much wild life in the lakes and interesting spiders etc makes it even more interesting :)

This area is adjacent to the carparks of Lake Clifton Thrombolites. We went in winter and the area was very lush with not many people. A few geocaches a long the way, and if adventurous you can go off the track into lush fields for photos. there are public toilets as well.

Very desolate area and surrounded by nature and bush. A great escape from world.

First half is easy, then you turn the corner and go uphill through sand. That part doesn't last long. I enjoyed seeing a Bobtail along the way and the Peppermint grove is stunning. I'd definitely do this walk again.

A great day out on the beach! Make sure you lower your tyre pressures before getting on to the beach and you'll have a good time, if not, make sure you take a photo of the local recovery crew as it can get very soft in places. Also I would recommend a decent uhf as phone reception can be a bit patchy on some stretches of the beach. If you pick the right time with the tides there's plenty of beach to drive on, park up, fish, swim or have a BBQ. I'm looking forward to our next trip there.

Great beach. I love being able to 4x4 and pick a spot all to your self, set up for the day and just relax.

Board walk/inspection platform was closed so that's May 6 2022 which means you can't see anything. The bushwalk us just 8ft high scrub, unless you leave the path and push out onto the lake flats like you are not supposed to you can't get any view of the lake. The track loops back is a total waste of time.

Must see! Thrombolites are one of the oldest living things in the world (according to my kids). It's a very easy and short walk to get to the Thrombolites from the carpark.
