A wonderful late lunch here with friendly service by the French manager who gave us time to decide and spread out our food in courses to maximise our enjoyment and the space on our table. The wine list was approachable for a novice to Spanish wines and his recommendations were accurately paired with our food. Not to mention very generous portions for a tappas restaurant.

Been here a few times over the years. Fantastic service. Tables are WAY too close at the back, so we sat along the window. Not the cheapest place, if you are really hungry. Food gets 4 stars max. I’m fussy with Dessert, and these hot donuts in the pic were absolutely amazing.

We went as a group of 12 and forced to have the set menu . This was $60 , absolutely felt robbed of our money .. literally one of each mushroom, crochetta , bit of ham and bread , few prawns and couple of pieces of beef ..poor vegetarian choice . Beef was replaced with potato frittata . None of the group will ever go back. One star for the cocktails.. No flexibility and the person serving us had no customer service skills ..

We had the most wonderful afternoon. We had one of the special menus, 2hrs of flowing tapas and wine for an amazing $69. The manager was just fantastic and selected our wines for us and boy were they good! We would highly recommend going. There was so much food we ended up bringing some home! And getting to meet Zeus was the icing on the cake!

Wise woman (my wife) discovered this place and we visited for lunch and chose their Del Dia menu, which is what they call “Boundless Tapas Grazing Menu”. The place is a delight and staff are very friendly. Food is awesome and we loved being served the assortment of tapas from the chef. As you can see from the photos, the food is interesting and tasty. I initially though we might not be full from this menu but I was happily proved wrong. Definitely recommended!!

Authentic tapas bar set in a curved wooden dining room with spanish-inspired cultural decorations and friendly staff. Recommend the croquettes and prawns, but all the food was super fresh and tasty and the service was super fast! Ordered and everything came in 10 minutes even though they were obviously under the pump on a busy Saturday night!! If you love tapas or want to give it a go, then this is the place for you :)

Great food, great service (the staff are very helpful and super polite) also the owner kept interacting with customers which was also good. You also get value for your money!

Very busy on Saturday night. Really bustling, but still excellent service. Lovely calamari(×2), prawns and croquettes and chorizo. 2 glasses of wine and 4 beers for $170. Not cheap, but surely worth the money. Special night to meet my friends new bride. Lots of couples and happy vibe. Memorable

Ordered croquettes, calamari, and a prawn dish. All were average and came out in less than 10 minutes. grilled prawn came out not as warm and needed seasoning.

Wanted to like this place but struggled. Nice decor, friendly staff, interesting looking menu but disappointing food. Tapas is supposed to be simple, quality fare but I found Duende to be overly fussy and confused.

Great food and service. Had the beef cheeks, calamari, jamon and mushrooms and would have it again. Very good portions given that it's tapas servings.

Such wonderful service and food, highly recommend for delicious food, and they had some great adaptable vegan options, the field mushrooms were DELUXE!

The jamon croquetas were creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can't really taste much of the jamon though although there are some pieces of it. The beef cheek was the best dish of all. It was tender and the sauces were rich and savoury. The two paellas were a bit small in portion but understandable as we ordered the special 20th anniversary discounted version. The seafood paella came with a clam and a mussel and quite a generous amount of prawns. The chicken paella was just okay as the chicken pieces can be a bit dry. Both paellas' rice is on the softer and wetter side. The drink that I ordered was a Happy 20th. It has a nice foam head and passionfruit forward.

Delicious. Were very accommodating with adapting their chef's menu to gluten free (although I did not ask about cross contamination). Service was prompt and attentive. Came away full and happy.

This place is my favourite, the food is always delicious and tonight the staff were amazing as usual! From the people at the bar to the woman who took our order, everyone was lovely and they have such an amazing team. Atmosphere is intimate and romantic, I just love coming here. ❤ (The scotch fillet is my go-to!!!)

Granted we came on a lazy Saturday afternoon, but the service was attentive, anticipatory without being intrusive. The food was sublime and bursting with flavour. We've had Tapas all over the world, and this is by far up there with the best. Perfect lunch for a lovely warm spring day.

Visited on Friday night. Lovely atmosphere, were seated on a spacious table next to the window. Food was delicious, generous servings. The wait staff were attentive and friendly , wish we got our waitresses name but believe she was new. She did amazing! Will definitely be back

First time in Leederville and went with some friends who know the area. Oh man the menu is diverse and delicious! Thought we had missed dessert but luckily not! Staff is friendly and you really feel like a regular when they look after you!

Mine and my family’s favourite spot for an amazing night! Food always amazing and cocktails out of this world! Spring Fling cocktail I could drink a whole litre!!! Service always impeccable! Best tapas in Perth! Great options for vegetarians also the corn croquettes 10/10!

what an amazing night! 4 of us had the set menu which was super tasty. Plenty of food great value for 50$. Prawns were a standout super fresh and hearty. Spanish Donuts were divine, lemon tart was good not too sweet, and chocolate fondant was unavailable but the brownies were good too. Aways good to be able to rely on a restaurant to be consistently good; every time we come to duende we have a great time.

Fantastic food and drink options. Been here a number of times and always had a good experience. Currently doing a deal on tapas midday til five everyday.

Great venue with nice size, high ceilings and atmosphere which we found was perfect for a birthday lunch with 5 people. We had the Menu Del Dia which was more tapas that any of us could eat and went with the unlimited alcohol drinks option. The staff were very friendly and catered to our groups needs with the non-alcoholic drinkers getting the alcohol free option. They were great with drinks as well, not slowing the offerings and came round to check if we needed more frequently. The food was fantastic, high quality and delicious, and I’d be keen to come back to try more food options from their a la carte menu in the future.

The food is excellent here. We had the croquette, halloumi salad, pork belly bites, arancini n etc. The price is very reasonable too. The manager is full of energy.
