Wonderful service by a gentleman, tall wear glasses when we were looking at Smeg appliances. However, when we were looking on purchasing perfume and make-up at the upstairs counters YSL and Dior, we were totally ignored and they weren't busy at all these ladies were just talking about other people and have no interest in selling the products to us. So we went across to Myer and purchased 10 beauty products there instead (YSL) they were extremely helpful there. David Jones counter lost about a thousand dollars in sale with us.

Since the closure of the food and wine on the ground floor it's lost alot of trade. They need to bring it back. Speciality Foods are always a great seller especially when they are imported from all over the world.

Love David Jones. Especially their food hall. So much variety all in one place. Sit and enjoy a quiet coffee and sweet treat or spoil someone with a gift pack from the many displays. Always a stop in place when I’m in the city

Bad place to go shopping too for gifts! I was Holding one of the perfume that I need to get it as gift while I keep looking to another brands! A disgusting old woman called the security on me accusing me of stealing!! Why!! I have my money and I can pay wherever I like!! U people going there be aware of the circle registration on the lift side when u walk inside the store from Hey stress entrance!!

Never properly staffed. Dior counter is always empty. Este Lauder and other beauty counters (other than Mac) need training for shade matching in foundation and concealer.

We booked a Styling Session with Chontel for our daughter for a Spring Dance. Our daughter walked away with two beautiful dresses and a pair of gorgeous shoes all within her budget. We really appreciate Chontel's assistance and professionalism and highly recommend using this service

Today I visited David Jones, Hay Street and was assisted by the delightful Chontel the Stylist in the women's department. Chontel listened to my requests and advised me on colour and design. I bought the perfect dress to attend my son's wedding in July. Much gratitude and thanks again to Chontel for her guidance for this special occasion.

Not that they’ve ever had a strong focus on customer service (service this bad wouldn’t sit well at any small private business), but more so than ever…it doesn’t exist! Walked around trying to catch the attention of a team member to ask where something was…..about 5 looked straight past me before I had to step in front of one to ask a question. Finally got an answer, proceeded to that floor. Picked up the stuff I needed, went to the counter where the young customer “service” representative was on the phone for 10 mins while I waited (not even a “I’ll be with you shortly”). Waited another 5 mins before realising apparently I wasn’t worthy of her service. Phone call continued, I said loudly to my young son “oh well looks like we aren’t getting service at this place, let’s go elsewhere where we’ll be treated with some dignity” and we dumped the stuff and walked. I ask….what is the interview process for these positions???!!

Went shopping for a particular cologne, sadly not stocked in WA. Customer service was great and helpful. Plenty of good brands on offer etc. Level 1 could do with a refurb!

First time in years at this store. Lady welcomed us into store then helped us navigate our way through to Xmas decorations. She was lovely and very helpful.

They canceled my order with no reason. Still what I need is available online.No sms, no email, nothing. Waited for my order for 2 weeks😡Online chat on website also doesn't work. Spent half a day on phone line and no available operators. SO TERRIBLE Customer service. Will never buy or order there anymore. Prefer Myer

The middle aged Asian lady at the Dior counter was so rude! Funny that some Asians seem to feel more superior than others. Appalling! If you don’t want to be a sales person maybe consider getting another job!

After leaving Myer due to poor/ non-existent customer service, I was relieved when I walked into the store and a lovely lady, Jane, approached me and asked how she could help me. All within 45 seconds of me entering the store. She was warm, humorous and helpful. Thank you Jane 😊

I want to express special thanks to Arlene in the Christmas/market section for helping me out. Every year I get a hamper box for my Aunt and I was worried as custom hampers weren’t being advertised. Arlene not only got me the biggest box and packed it up beautifully, she also knew where everything in the section was, could recommend gluten free products and never made me feel like an inconvenience on a busy night. Also a special thanks to Mars who, though he was new, helped out when I came back for a second box for my grandparents. I hope corporate can give these employees an extra thanks this Christmas season.

Nice department store with quality items for home for dress men and ladies , vast choice and range of prices . Cosmetics and parfums big choice ..a pleasure visiting it.

Called this store and was on hold for about 50 minutes before being bounced around 7-8 times and going on hold again. Finally got through to a few different staff and no one could find any nativity sets in the stores. The last staff I dealt with was friendly and helpful but the whole process was pretty painful. The automated voice was beyond painful to deal with..

Tony in small electrical provides the best service in David Jones that I have experienced over the yrs. I was delighted to see he is still there, as he goes above and beyond forallhis customers. That's why we keep retunring to David Jones whenever we are in Perth😊

Contacted the store today and was fortunate to have Jessie from the Toy Dept. answer my call. She was amazing, helpful, polite and efficient and effective. She went the extra mile to locate the product I was searching for as it was not on the shop floor. She was friendly and helpful and is a real asset to the store. I got served a few times by Margaret, the customer service officer at Perth store and she is so nice and so helpful. I am very happy with the service I received.

Had good experience at the store. Some of the electronic items are expensive than the other stores regular price however if you are lucky you will get some cheaper ones if they are on sale. Good variety of lagguage items are there as well. Some parts of the store looks odd and feels like left over and can't even see any sale's persons.

Christmas is here, what beautiful displays, alot of European decorations something different to see.

Busy place,went thru to The Rose Clinic for radiology&the staff are more than helpful. The shop itself(thru which one must traverse)is very large&a little intimidating. Staff are more than helpful(better than the counter staff)!

Lovely place lovely people lovely stuff, I basically went to pick up Yvresse by YVES SAINT LAURENT and also ended up getting the "Y" by YSL as well. Customer service was good to the point that they also gave me 5 other samples to try on.

Everything in one place...good brands wide collection good prices at sale times. Been shopping at this from many years, often buying things like casual and work clothes, toiletries, gifts, electronics, and other items. It's a quality store

Crappily packed Christmas decorations. Some broken, some missing pieces that werent even fallen off within the packaging so no quality control on what was sent.

I had gone to browse for TV’s. Liam( staff) was very great at customer service and knew his products well. After browsing David Jones, I went to other stores as well but came back to buy the TV 75inches just because I liked Liam’s customer service. Thank you for looking after my needs.

I asked a shop assistant for directions on the ground floor of the David Jones Perth Store and she rolled her eyes at men and was very rude and unhelpful. I thought that it was her main task to provide service which was none existent in a store which is very expensive when you purchase anything (apparently high end retail) The middle aged female last Saturday who provided me with the inappropriate attitude should not be employed there and i would not let her clean my toilet !!!!!

Good selection of retail products. With the sales on, it makes it affordable to shop quality at David Jones. Recently, I took my newborn with me when shopping there and used the parents room. Unfortunately the parents room is very outdated and has a very bad smell... Hoping that facility will improve in the near future.

Overpriced dark and gloomy stores. Need to revamp and update. Doorman at the Perth store was intimidating. Not friendly and made you feel uncomfortable.

What a shambles. Wanted to buy a bag from Michael Kors. Seemed simple enough. But had to queue for one staff member (who was also training a trainee). Got to the front of queue and then she says oh let me check if we have a new one for you. Yes she does and dissapears for 10 minutes to another location to find a new bag. Finally she arrives back, and then tells us we have to go to another counter to queue up and pay. Really inefficient, time consuming. At least my wife likes the bag.

Had a terrible experience with a nasty lady, she had white blond hair and black framed glasses. Came in to get a summer dress when i asked for sizing didn’t even acknowledge me. I hope the company gets better service in the future.
