Just the right size for an urban park! Wildlife and a pond are a great bonus and there are plenty of games in the kids playground. Two BBQ stations for hungry crowds and plenty of a meadow and posts to practise your footie. A great place for locals, worth a few minutes drive for those living a bit more down the road :) Parking shouldn't be a problem. Toilets very well maintained. No dogs allowed, which is a great plus for kids.

I Grew up living near this park. throughout the 80's it was surrounded by bushlands where my brothers and I enjoyed playing, climbing trees and exploring. mapped many poi that have since been lost due to urbanisation. However, there's still an abundance of native trees for my children to climb and grow with.

There is a larger kids' playground and lake at Mawson Park to the north. Rob Wilson's review is of Mawson Park.

A great place to stop off to stretch your legs and study why people leave their gnomes there. Gnomesville means such a lot to many many people. Very interesting.

A beautiful little park, with abundant shade trees surrounding it. Ideal for picnics, a time for relaxation, for watching sport (usually soccer). A well maintained park.

I have been going to this park since a young lass, then a naughty teen, then to enjoy some quiet with a book as a more thoughtful student. It is (or has been) full of children having parties on weekends- gatherings for all types of celebrations- there was a lot of ducks to enjoy but I must admit to being unsure of the swamp area now. It's a green, safe, family oasis in the midst of suburbs. There are facilities there & b.b.q's . Playgrounds & was a great fitness track awhile back now. It used to back onto bushland & that's where I recall the track. I am quite certain it is very nice house's now. A good park if you live close & don't feel like traveling to the generally more popular ones. Very popular with fitness joggers around the edge of park.

Wonderful park with 2 playgrounds, BBQs, public toilets, drink fountains and multiple tables and gazebos. Large oval and fenced off lake. Note that dogs are only allowed around the perimeter and not within the park itself.

Playground is excellent for the kids with a good sized oval for kicking the footy around on. Barbeques for cooking up some sausages and a lovely water feature to sit by and watch the world go by. Toilets are available and clean. Basket ball hoop and smaller playground on other side of the lake. Great times had and to be had in future.
