A meal to remember!! Huge congratulations to the Chef. I’ve been lucky to eat at the best restaurants in the world and this meal was right up there with them. The menu changes with the seasons so we’ll DEFINITELY be back!!!!

We went for my mother in laws birthday. Service was impeccable, as the wait staff were very attentive. Food was a bit of a hit and miss for me. It felt very expensive ($89 pp) for what we got for the taste and serving sizes. Some of the meals felt too busy and technical and overloaded my tastebuds. I did love the pasta dish and salmon as they were both done very well.

Dinner with a friend for the 5 course menu. Each course was delicious and the whole experience left us with happy & full bellies. The restaurant was a little too warm for my liking, and I couldn't understand a word the waitresses were saying, but that is the problem with wearing masks. Looking forward to a new menu on our next visit.

We had an amazing experience here with their new degustation menu. Would highly recommend especially for a romantic dinner. Food flavours were wonderful! Couldn’t fault anything :)

Amazing little find close by. Theatre performance food art. Seasonal changes to menu. Chef happily adapted 5 course meal to be gluten and dairy free. It gives other top chef restaurants a run for the value for money.

Came here for our anniversary dinner after reading all of the positive reviews. High expectations ..... fully delivered👍 We had the 5 course degustation. Very good value at $89 per person. Every course was of a high quality. The portions were also good. Even though this was a degustation we did not go home hungry 🙂 The only issue perhaps is the limited parking around the restaurant. Will be back and will happily recommend this place to friends. Well done Chin Chin and thank you for a great dinner for our Anniversary.

The food was mostly tasty, save for the ribs we had. It was cooked well but the flavours weren't really complementing each other. The wider issue is that we felt there was often more focus on presentation and putting a lot of visually appealing things on the plate, at the expense of flavours combining in a sensible way. There at times too much happening on the palate, but not complex flavours. The dinner was overall too expensive for what was provided. It was mentioned to us that portion sizes were reduced as some previous diners had mentioned themselves being too full. I personally felt there could have been a bit larger portions, but my partner was content, so the chef is probably on point now, maybe an extra ravioli in the 2nd course or two scallops instead of one. We both agreed this meal would have been much more attractive if the price was maybe $70 instead of the $89.

Excellent service and the food was spot on! The progression of flavours demonstrates careful planning of the menu and the skill of the chef as each dish excited the palate in one way or another. The combination of flavours were also very unique as well, it was thoroughly enjoyable to experience these new and interesting combinations of flavours, you can usually predict what the dish is going to taste like and you think you know, but here there’s a sprinkle of something special that you would’ve never thought would go with that dish but it does! Absolutely sensational!!!

We had a lovely dinner for two at Chin Chin over a bottle of Felix Vasse white wine. I highly recommend you do the full 5 course set for the full experience. When most people hear 'gastronomy' they're thinking of the fancy presentation with flashy and science experimental looking presentation. We did have one course that was on the flashier side like people usually expect, but most of the gastronomy was in the details. The Cucumber in our salmon crudite(?) tasted fragrant or the Mandarin jelly in our palate cleanser was so fresh and vibrant! I highly recommend you try this place out, and since the menu is seasonal you can keep coming back! 😉

Chin Chin Gastronomy is our local favourite for fine dining. We have dined here a few times now and on both occasions (anniversary and birthday) have bern really impressed with the quality of food, service and value. We always look forward to the seasonal change in menu so we can go back!

Booked in for a pre birthday celebration at Chin Chin, service was pretty good & food was quite delicious. We were quite full at the end of our meal. There were a lot of patrons who were celebrating their birthdays & each table was given a nice little treat accompanied by sparklers & staff singing Happy Birthday which was a nice touch.

Valentine’s Day Menu- They were creative fusion. The dessert Bergamot Parfait were very delicate with variety of sourness and sweetness on the plate, and they went along well. Could make the part of seafood better, I couldn’t taste the spirit of seafood.

Had a lovely dining experience here with very friendly staff and service from beginning to end and delicious meals throughout the 5 courses. Each meal was beautifully presented with great flavours and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a lovely ambience and definitely suitable for that romantic dinner if you are planning for one. Portion size could be a little more to justify the price $89 per person for the 5 course meal otherwise slightly lower in price would be perfect. Definitely recommended!

Surprising little suburban restaurant that does a great little degustation menu. The homemade breads, blue swimmer crab tofu and seared market fish were the standouts for us. We tried both the vegetarian and regular 5 course degustation offerings and would gladly come back. Beware the parking in the area, you may cop a fine.

Amazing food and excellent service! You can choose between a three or five course degustation. We went for the five course option and weren't disappointed. There wasn't an element out of place. The only issue we had was that we received a dirty wine glass that had lipstick marks over it.

The 3 course menu was a foodies dream! Definitely left with senses & appetite both satisfied. Presentation, quality, flavour & service was flawless.

There is a reason this place has such a high rating. A great experience, recommend for a date night. Had the 5 course, perfect size. Allow 2hrs for the culinary journey. You’ll leave this place feeling full of amazingly presented and prepared food with excellent service to boot!

My wife privately booked a table to my surprise. It was for my year of work anniversary. The food was great. They were tasty with plenty of flavour and just the perfect amount of seasoning. No complaint. The highlight, however, is the service. We felt welcomed the moment we walked in. We came in with a cake and they offered to have it stored in the fridge. Later on, upon our request, they brought it out on a proper cake stand. Prior to it, they served us a well presented celebration plate. It was a fantastic gesture that exceeded our expectation. Our glasses were always full of water and we didn't have to ask for a refill. The waitresses were friendly and very accommodating. This type of service is becoming a rarity nowadays. We would like to say thank you for making our night a memorable one and please keep up the good work!

👍👍 Super delicious!!! High recommend the radish rice rolls and fish soup. Portions are huge as well. Only thing is they’re so popular the queue can get a little crazy and things can run out quickly, so highly recommend you visit at a quieter time or earlier in the day. Definitely food that I will crave...
