The
food
was
mostly
tasty,
save
for
the
ribs
we
had.
It
was
cooked
well
but
the
flavours
weren't
really
complementing
each
other.
The
wider
issue
is
that
we
felt
there
was
often
more
focus
on
presentation
and
putting
a
lot
of
visually
appealing
things
on
the
plate,
at
the
expense
of
flavours
combining
in
a
sensible
way.
There
at
times
too
much
happening
on
the
palate,
but
not
complex
flavours.
The
dinner
was
overall
too
expensive
for
what
was
provided.
It
was
mentioned
to
us
that
portion
sizes
were
reduced
as
some
previous
diners
had
mentioned
themselves
being
too
full.
I
personally
felt
there
could
have
been
a
bit
larger
portions,
but
my
partner
was
content,
so
the
chef
is
probably
on
point
now,
maybe
an
extra
ravioli
in
the
2nd
course
or
two
scallops
instead
of
one.
We
both
agreed
this
meal
would
have
been
much
more
attractive
if
the
price
was
maybe
$70
instead
of
the
$89.
