One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Perth for a date night! Everything is on the menu is delicious, you can't go wrong. Parking is convenient and free at Coles.

Absolutely delicious Italian food! We ordered the special meals which the waitress recommended and it was so yummy. The waitress was very friendly and she explained all of the foods very clearly and detailed! We really enjoyed our dinner !

    A. Ma. Zing. A hidden gem, without a doubt! From the moment we arrived it was clear there was more to this quaint little spot in North Perth than first meets the eye. We were welcomed and seated by a pleasant and well spoken waiter who provided us just the right amount of attention. He handed us the menus which were more extensive than we expected, tempting us with a wide variety from Italian classics to unique pizzas to modern high-end dishes with intriguing flavour and text combinations. At first, we thought the pricing was nothing special, not cheap but certainly not expensive. Had we have known then how amazing the experience would be, we would have realised the incredible value on offer. The wine menu was also superb, with many European imports to choose from alongside the more familiar home grown options. I opted for a Nero D'Avola and my partner a glass of true Italian Prosecco, both well priced for the pour and absolutely delicious! It became clear that quality, local ingredients was a focus for Acqua E Sale, which directly translated to dishes with amazing depth of flavour. We decided to share an entree, the Burrata Nera. What arrived at the table dazzled the eyes let alone the taste buds! This was easily one of the best dining experiences of my life, a true exploration of the senses. And the theatre when you first cut into the Burrata, unforgettable! I recommend getting this with a serve of bread, as we did, so you can mop up every last drop of flavour. We were also advised to crush the squid ink tuille on top, adding yet another dimension to this amazing dish. Highly recommended! For mains, I chose the Spaghetti Neri allo Scoglio and my partner, the Culurgiones. Both meals came as a a very healthy portion and looked gorgeous. My pasta was al dente, with a slight doughiness adding temptation to each bite. The seafood was perfectly cooked and covered the entire plate. In fact, you couldn't see the pasta beneath the seafood when it first arrived! The balance of flavour was fantastic with the sauce just right so as not to overpower the seafood. I was so taken with my own meal that I neglected to try my partners, but by all accounts she was very impressed. She pointed out that vegetarian food rarely offers such complexity, the mint in the pasta dumplings a particular standout, and was very excited to try something else on our next visit! The wait staff were very knowledgeable and showed a genuine passion and enthusiasm in their work. They were always nearby but never invasive or intrusive, providing warmth and a smile with each interaction. We declined to have desert when offered but it's definitely on our list for next time! There was very little to complain about, but if I had to pick something it would be that the ambience where we were seated outside did not match the quality of the offering. From the look of the interior, I think sitting inside will add that little extra something that delivers a truly perfect dining experience. Another one for next time! Highly, highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!

Our group of four really enjoyed our Saturday night dinner. This is certainly one of the better Italian style restaurants we have been to recently. The meals were good and the staff excellent. The wine list was limited and a bit expensive - but were good quality. We were aware of this beforehand, so it did not detract from the experience.

Food, service, ambiance was fantastic. Would definitely go back again, but would probably try different dishes next time. Linguine sauce could of had bit more flavour. They were great, but didn’t quite have that wow factor we were expecting from this restaurant and scallops although cooked well were not perfect. Its probably being ultra picky but we eat out a lot so compare a lot. So fair review. The truffle butter with bread was amazing 👍🏻

Amazing food, great service! Had a really good time. We ordered the specials which were a pizza and a pasta, both amazing. We also got a gluten free pizza and that was outstanding too!! You know it’s a great pizza when no one could tell it’s gluten free! Will be back for more!

Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! If a restaurant can start off the night was amazing bread, you know the rest of the entrees and mains would be absolutely amazing and that's what they did! I was blown away and had a great night.

Ridiculously good Italian food. The manager himself looked after us and he didn’t miss a beat. We’ll be back!

It is apparently a very well rated Italian restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised that they exceeded my expectations! We ordered their specials for the day - scallops and pizza to share which they very generously made gluten free. Must try their dessert selection. I can't wait to go back to try the rest of their menu. It can get very busy very quickly so would definitely recommend reserving in advance. We were lucky to go early on a weekday night. And the ambience is just perfect for a casual dine out. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Went to Acqua E Sale on Saturday for dinner. Traditional Italian - just the way I like my pasta. Food was excellent and service was great. Standouts were the tagliere de salumi (San Daniele prosciutto, mix of cured Italian meats, home marinated olives and house pickles, served with pane carasau and focaccia bread) and the Malloredus Sardi alla Campidanese (Traditional Sardinian gnocchetti, made in the house, with fresh Italian sausage, saffron and pecorino Su Sardu D.O.P., in tomato sugo). It was packed by 5.30pm though, so definitely pre-book. It's not really a place for a quiet, intimate dining experience - it was pretty noisy with the kitchen/fellow diners. Definitely family friendly though. The outdoor area is right next to the bus stop, so it's not much better noise-wise but the outdoor area is well covered from the elements. It wasn't cheap but not crazy expensive either - 3x courses each plus 2 drinks each was around $90pp. But we did go for the charcuterie board for entree and dessert tasting plate which would have bumped the price, and it was delicious! Would happily return if I'm up that neck of the woods again.

Amazing food and friendly staff. This is the second time we came back to this restaurant. We’ll come back again for sure. The mirto is great, after the first shot we would want some more!

Visited a restaurant with just one main chef that day, and though the food was excellent, the wine pouring lacked precision. The dessert was okay, except for the tiramisu, which I pointed out but was ignored by waitress. Suggest sitting outside as the inside is a bit smelly. Best parking spot is at Cole's.

Mind blowing Italian food, simply the best. Now I know why Italians are one of the best chefs in the world! I saw people’s reviews of waiting time and etc, if you want nice and quality food, you gotta wait! It’s just as simple as that. We didn’t wait for long either even though it was so busy. Just love every single dish and can’t wait to try more 🤤🍷🍕🍝

Highly recommend. The specials of crab and squid ink ravioli were outstanding as were the entrees we ordered. Dessert was a knockout, the vanilla pannacotta- the perfect end to a brilliant evening. Service was top notch as were the wine recommendations our lovely Scottish waitress gave .The only thing we would say was that it was quite warm inside the restaurant, the aircon wasn't too strong. Who cares though, the food and everything else was spot on!

We went for one of my best friends' birthdays to celebrate there and the food was spectacular as was the service. We loved the attention and also the honesty of our waitress regarding how busy kitchen was and how long our food was going to take. It is a very small space and does not cover the number of people to make it comfortable, that is the only thing I do not give it 5 stars. The rest it was beautiful 🤩

Deliziosa! One of the best experiences I have had in Perth. Great food, best waiter I have seen in my life. A perfect evening. Great place to enjoy food. Gnochiette with Italian sausage ($30) was nice, a bit like spaghetti bolognese. Gnocchi with duck were very special and super nice with the breadcrumbs ($30). Pizza with mushroom and truffle oil, OMG, the best. Risotto with asparagus shall be amazing too. Picture: Gnochiette, risotto and gnocchi with duck in the background.

We booked here for dinner. It was cosy and the staff were very attentive. We had a duck leg gnocchi and it was incredible, the flavours were terrific, we also had the rustica pizza and it was so fresh and topped with beautiful ingredients. Would definitely recommend

Acqua e Sale....you have done it again! Never fail to impress! This place reminds me of my dining experiences in Italy. Genuinely good food! They are not trying to be anything they are not, portions are generous, flavours are like a home cooked meal with fine dining plating and presentation 😍 One of the best thing about this place is, their menu is not like EVERY SINGLE Italian restaurant in Perth 🤣

👍 Edit: January 2023, we came again and was slightly disappointed. The classic scrambled eggs used to be a firm favourite.
