I've had Monsterella a few times and it's always been pretty good but a couple days ago we got a pizza and the sausage was raw. Obviously it was disappointing but the worst part is that they make it really difficult to reach them about an issue. I tried to find a way to message them but there are none. I called and left a message and waited two days and no one has gotten back to me. I understand that mistakes can be made but that's why customer service is so important. I would have liked to talk to them about the issue but seeing that I can't get in contact, I'm leaving a review with pictures so hopefully they can see it and this doesn't happen with someone else.

My partner and I were very excited to go here and saw the good reviews and photos of this place However we’re very disappointed and upset over how bad the pizza was. It seemed like it was just thrown together with not a care in the world. One of the worst pizzas We have ever had

This is high quality, wood fired oven pizza. I ordered 9 pizzas to takeaway at 4:50pm. I was walking out the door at 5:03pm! All ingredients are quality. Keep up the great work Monsterella: your love for good pizza shines.

Pretty good. Not the absolutely best one, but nice taste, friendly and quick service. (Franky) Pizza dough was a little bit too dry in my opinion, and (pesto) pasta was good, but a little tiny something seemed to be missing, maybe just a bit more pepper and salt. Would give 4.5 stars.

Booked (easily) online… Was greeted on arrival and felt to be special - all was in place (water - menu’s) Ordered and food was very quick to come out - and was superb… Well worth the visit :)

Monsterella. Often recommended. And for good reason. Pizza is reliable, wood fired and tasty. And their pasta. Home-made and under-rated. Al dente and loved by all. So why the three stars? They're a victim of their own success. Monsterella is busy. Often booked out week(s) in advance for popular evenings. Seatings even on weekdays are time limited. Which wouldn't normally be a problem if their wait staff weren't so stretched that they cannot maintain a well timed service. To the point where a 90 minute seating isn't enough for them to serve lamb skewers, pasta, pizza and dessert. Two staff indoors. One floating outdoors. Constantly running between tables. Visibly under the pump. Surely, Monsterella is doing well enough they can afford to put another member of wait staff on. We enjoy a leisurely dinner. We don't mind a short dinner. But it's not good enough if there are lengthy waits through no fault of your own ; and by the time you have to get up and ask to order dessert, there is <15 minutes left. A quick scan of the review(s) shows I'm not the only one. The wait staff just weren't smiling today. Shame too being a special occasion. This place used to have a happy vibe. Unfortunately, as much as we used to love cozying up outside with the blankets in Winter, Monsterella no longer makes the Recommended list.

Delicious wood fired pizzas. Dough was delicious and we tried a couple of pizzas Bustling atmosphere and limited space - you must book. Would recommend

Wonderful little pizza joint that far exceeds expectations. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. Had both pizza and pasta and both are easily some of if not the best in Perth. Definately recommend!

My Italian from who is from the north part of Italy recommended me to go to this place for pizza. Indeed the pizza didn’t disappoint me and my other friend. Words are not enough to explain how good the pizzas and salad were. Definitely will go back again and try other dish. Highly recommend this place and the best is to book as they were very busy even on a Wednesday night. Also, the staff were very friendly and polite. My friend booked a table for two nights after and still only outside tables available. There were some blankets available for outdoor seating.

After years of wanting to try this place I think the hype let me down. The pizzas were tasty but lacked something... tbh I'm not in a hurry to go back

Always a good place for their pasta (al dente to perfection, simple yet big flavours), pizza (of course!), Salad/insalata (try their panzanella with tomatoes please, too fresh to pass), oh and their lamb skewers are a must try

Yummo pasta!!! We didn't feel like having pizza so I had the spaghetti meatballs and my friend had the pappardelle carbonara. Delicious! Portion wise, it's good enough. Service was great, the food came quick. We could actually smell the truffles in the air too. Mmm! :-) I did have a pizza takeaway once as well some time ago and I quite enjoyed it too. So...why not 5 stars??? THE LOUD MUSIC!!!! For peeps sake, it's way too loud, making it very hard to talk. We had to shout to hear each other.

Best gluten free pizza in Perth! Since I have been diagnosed with coeliac, I have been on the hunt to find a gluten free pizza that tastes almost like the real thing - and now I have found it at Monstrella! The base is light, crispy and airy at the same time and the toppings are authentic and tasty. The ambience is nice and the restaurant is BYO as well which is a plus. Highly recommend if you are after tasty, authentic Italian pizza that’s gluten free

Some of the best gluten free pizza available in Perth. Authentic Italian style flavours with fluffy crispy bases. Absolutely delicious! Would also recommend the tiramisu & pannacotta. Added benefit is they are BYO 😊

Absolutely delicious! The pasta and pizza are seriously one of the best in Perth! The carbonara is worth dying for! There are car parks behind the restaurant, make sure to book a table if you’d like to dine in. BYO here! Reasonable price with excellent food!

CIAO AMORE The most perfect plate of hand cut truffle carbonara. Possibly the best pasta l've ever had, Italy included. A loved local fave, have you tried this moorish wonder?! I have several times! Pizzas are superb too! I’ve had them dine in and takeaway, delivery options are also available. Only downside is that EVERYONE loves this place so bookings are essential. Call early for your pizza pickups or delivery, you’ll be so glad you did. They do not disappoint!!

Very busy and popular pizza restaurant. Recommend booking, especially for a Friday night. We didn't book and had to get take away. Service very good. Pizza was nice and full of flavour, but the thin base and very juicy tomatoes meant as you picked up a piece of pizza from the box, 2/3 of the toppings fell off at the tip end, which made it very messy to eat. Overall, it's quite good, but book so as not to be disappointed.

Currently sits in my top 2 of gluten-free pizzerias in Perth, a bit far from The Canteen in Cottesloe, but ahead of Maruzella. They have clearly improved the recipe, and BYO is a compliment to the amazing food. Keep doing what you're doing. The pizza in the photo is gluten-free.

We ordered two vego pizzas for delivery and oh my goodness this was literally the most amazing pizza ever! Totally authentic, nothing like the pizzas we normally order, with fresh ingredients and mozzarella rounds on a proper wood fired base. 100% recommend! Service was great, delivery was on time, and the pizzas were divine!

Hands down top 2, if not best pizza in Perth. The dough is amazing, the sauce is amazing, all the ingredients on the pizza are high quality and you guys are very generous with the toppings which we love. Seriously good pizza. My recommendation is the Crudo with a tomato base. 🤙

The 5 star is for the best pizza, little lamb kebabs and brocollinis. Two star for the tiramasu which tasted like a factory produced. The service is very average. We will come back.

Delicious each and every time. We were squeezed in and got our orders very quickly. Pizza bases are tasty and thin, fired perfectly.

The pizza, the salads, the service and staff were faultless. The atmosphere was fantastic..... only one negative was the noise, lots of happy chatter but it resonated and you could hardly hear yourself speak, so everyone talked louder. I will be back because I still loved everything about this place.
