Such a nice hidden gem. The head chef was so polite to staff and patrons. All waitstaff were pleasant and think we may have recieved a double serving of dessert by mistake. Will definitely go back, extra dessert or not! Thanks for our lovely dinner! Great food. Great value.

Best sashimi i had in Perth so far. I think even better than my previous favourite, Shou. Sashimi was sooooo fresh. Salmon was the best i think. Tuna was really fresh as well. King fish was great!!! All the tempura were cooked just right. Not too oily. Tataki beef was tender. Truly recommended!

Food 3-4/5. Most things tasted good, I think the carpaccio was the best dish, chutoro okay, assorted sashimi ok (little bit thin), scallop aburi also ok, miso egglant also just ok, octopus karaage was the worst. We ordered rice as well as miso soup per person and were still hungry after our meal so went to get more food at another place as soon as we were done. Service 1-2/5. The staff were nice but service EXTREMELY slow! We had a 5:30pm booking, wasn’t able to make an order for half an hour as all the staff were busy (mostly dealing with many takeaway bentos) and we didn’t get our last dish until 7:10pm. We didn’t go for the omakase but so glad we didn’t as the couple next to us getting their omakase still had 2 more dishes to go after we had our last dish out. I was really looking forward to the place so it probably added to my disappointment. Unfortunately won’t be returning due to the heartbreak 💔 I was so excited when we were ordering and got sadder throughout the night when food took forever to appear. I was eating soy sauce and wasabi on rice at one stage because the food was so slow and I was so hungry… We were too scared to order more food because it would take even longer to come out!

The best Japanese restaurant in perth. To be honest, I did expect just one of the normal Japanese restaurant for light dinner and felt a bit high price however, as soon as I taste the food, the price all makes sense. I have ordered 3 dishes and everything was perfect. I am willing to visit here again sometimes with my family or friends.

Went there for lunch today great food but it was so busy for a Wednesday lunch that it felt a bit rushed. Just had the set menu digestion dinner last night. Very interesting dishes that were very tasty 7/10 but we had to order a sushi platter after the 6 courses as we were still hungry, which was disappointing. Will be ordering off the menu next time instead of the set menu. Went back there after being away for 2 years and it's still as good if not better then before. Best to book ahead as the people in the local are book the few tables out well in advance. Fantastic food, service and fresh sushimi which was a treat.

We went here for our wedding anniversary. We had the gozen Bento, one with white fish tempura and the other with prawn tempura. We also had the soft shell crab as well. Loved the food and the service.

Booked 3 weeks in advanced to secure a table for my husband’s birthday dinner. Service was warm, friendly and swift. Food was authentic and absolutely delicious. Whole family enjoyed it throughly! Most patrons there were regulars. And the chef/ owner greeted us when we got there & even though he was busy made an effort to say goodbye too! Very impressed with the quality & freshness of ingredients used. Will be back very soon to try out other dishes on the menu!

Tried the Margaret River Beef Tataki. Was excellent. Mixed Tempura was a good size and lightly battered. Only if the shop was bigger! Need to make a booking even on a weekday night.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Perth. This place is tiny. So you need to book to eat here. The food is tasty and the ingredients speak for themselves. Chef Shiro takes great pride which shows in his food!!

Absolutely delicious! The quality of the food is fresh, tasty and cooked to perfection. You definitely need to make a booking as the place gets packed out regularly. Price is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it as the quality of the ingredients, preparation care and attention to detail can give any fine dining restaurant a run for its money. This is a rare treasure to have a restaurant of such high quality in a quiet street in the suburbs. The atmosphere immediately brings me back to my travels around Japan.

This is a hidden gem in Leeming! Slightly tough to get a booking and the restaurant isn’t exactly large but the food is great. We had the Omakase which was $70 a person for 6 or so dishes including dessert. There are better Omakase out there but this is by no means bad. Enjoyed many of the dishes that came out and will definitely be back to have a go at their a la carte dishes. Staff were friendly and helpful, service was very prompt and efficient!

Don’t order their fry oyster, you need to wait at least 30mins and taste not good. Especially 5 pieces for 25$! Definitely not worth it! If not because oysters, this is a good restaurant. Bento is average Scallop nigiri is good Gyoza is average bunbury too small Grilled beef nigiri is just fine

I have lived in the neighbouring suburb for over a decade but have never tried this gem. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Four of us mums ditched the kids for the evening and came here for girls’ night. As it was my first time here I had no idea what to expect. The restaurant was packed - our reservation which was only done a week ago meant that we sat at the bar, but that was explained when we called to reserve. We decided to all have bento box dinners. The food was beautifully executed and the portions are generous and every bite was a joy. A couple of us had the beef gozen bento - that changes weekly. And the others had the Ichirin bento. Upon leaving we realised that they do have an omakase menu. One to try for the next time. If you love authentic Japanese food, look no further than this restaurant. If you are planning to go, reserve as early as you can. It’s run by an excellent team. We will definitely be back!

AmazIngly good! おいしい Thank you so much for the spot on food 🙌☺️ Came yesterday and has the assorted sashimi and the prawn tempura don. I once ordered the Tendon in Japan, and although it seems like the most simple dish, the flavours were so amazing. So ever since then, I have been looking for a Tendon everywhere and couldn’t find it. This is the first place that I have found it, and it was amaZing! The assisted sashimi was so good, stand out was the raw tuna 🍣 My only recommendation is to get in early or to book, otherwise you won’t get a seat. Love this place! ごちそうさまでした Thanks for the beautiful meal.

👍 I'd rate this a solid 3.5 stars. The naan bread was great, but the aloo baigan (eggplant/potato) curry was really bland. The standout was the mango lassi. Really delicious! Not sure if I'll be back.. maybe to try the lamb dishes.

👍👍 Bro, sooooo good. 12 pieces of chicken wings at 2.50. Wings were bussing. The Cafe deserves 5 star reviews only ong. It was half price as well, heck even 5 bucks was too cheap, so good. No photo, mb, ate it all.
