It's a nice Malaysian restaurant, with friendly staff. We went there in big group of 14 people (7 adults and 7 children) which I found the place is suspacious, nice and cozy for so many children with us 😌 Me and my other 2 friends ordered the all you can eat menu as I want to try all the dishes in the baine marie 🀭 the food is really nice and my favourite is the lamb curry, the vegetables it self nice and crunchy even though It's in the baine marine, the all you can eat package included the kueh basah also (Indo-Malaysian cake dessert) which is really nice and yummy (forgot to take the pictures, was so hungry already when I saw all those mouth watering kueh πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚), and also you get refilled lemon tea with this package 😁 My other friends order nasi goreng, nasi lemak, es campur, kwetiaw, chicken satay, and they're all delicious πŸ˜‹ So yes the food is great and yummy, but for the ala carte dishes (not the all you can eat) I'll said It's bit pricey πŸ˜„πŸ˜„ but I can really understand that as the area is also at the expensive subburb (the rent must be high thou 😁😁). So I'll give 5 stars πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

This place offers Malaysian dishes. They do buffet for $30 pp. If buffet is not what you are after. Ala carte menu is available. We came for lunch and ordered mee goreng, nasi campur and ice kacang. We wanted a quick lunch and somehow food didnt come out as fast as we thought it would be. We waited for close to 30 mins. Place was not even that packed. Food was definitely delicious tho. However, their ala carte menu is on the pricier side for Malaysian food. Place was clean and service was friendly. They have an alfresco area, which was nice. We would come back again to try their other dishes when we are not in a rush.

I was surprised by this little restaurant. Had the buffet option. It felt very home cooked, but definitely not in a bad way. It felt very authentic and made me feel warm as it reminded me of home. Atmosphere was nice and quiet. Their tom yum soup was delicious.

We had a mixed experience here. The idea of the buffet is great and the flavour is fantastic. However, a couple of the dishes smelt and tasted a little off. Which is a bit odd as it was a Saturday night, so you would think it is their busy time.

This restsurant is a hidden gem. Small, cosy and busy. A relief that we had a booking. Not only did the dishes taste good, they looked good . They say "we eat with our eyes". And we feasted with our eyes and mouth. Its not fine dining but the food did rule the mind as well as the palate. My favourite place in Perth for beef rendang, turmeric duck, Satay, Roast Lamp and fried chicken ! They also have a yummy CKT with a decent serving size and good price tag.

One of the best Malaysian restaurants in Perth by far! Friendly customer service with exceptional food. We had delicious fried chicken, Roast lamb, hokkien Mee, Mee Goreng, spice tofu, curry chicken, curry laksa and eggplant sambal. Everything tasted good. Would highly recommend. We have been going here for a few years, always faultless, consistent across the board. This eatery is the best here.

Good food, place is clean and well decorated. Staffs are nice. Heard about an authentic Malaysian street style food offerings from here. Tried the Char Kuey Teow signature dish, do make sure if you take the spicy option, you can handle it, lol. Ordered Delicious Beef rendang, Roast Lamp, turmeric duck, fried chicken and Laksa Is the best. Mee Goreng, hokkien Mee and Hor fun noodle which everything was an amazing comfort food too, I would highly recommend, very friendly service too. There is parking available at the back, just don't miss the "P" sign to turn in as I did. Enjoy! Give it a shot.

Went with a large group and was easily accommodated and the service and food was awesome. Some people in my group had never had Malaysian food and the menu was easy for them to understand what the dishes were. We had delicious Tumeric duck, fried chicken, Roast lamb, hokkien Mee, Mee Goreng, spice tofu, curry chicken, curry laksa and eggplant sambal. Everything was delicious. Teh Tarik and deserts too. Highly recommend this place.

Went to this place for lunch with the family. I got the Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang. It tasted good, there was a good helping of beef and it cost 19 dollars. My son got the Roti Canai Kosong (plain Roti Canai) and also Chicken Satay. I got a taste of both and they tasted good. I had a Teh Tarik (Hot) which was 6.50. Good. Ice Kacang (shaved ice dessert) was about 11 and also tasted good

What a little, cosy gem of a Malaysian restaurant found in Perth. We ordered the chicken rice and laksa here and they were both authentic, full of flavour and very generous in serving size. For entree, the Ikan Lekor (crispy fish sausage) was so addictive, it wasn’t too oily and tasted amazing. We didn’t make a booking and they still managed to fit us in a very busy restaurant. The meals did not take long to come out although it was full and the service was great! Will definitely come back to try their other dishes!

As a Malaysian resident, I'm always curious to try out the Malaysian food in Australia to compare with what I usually have in KL. Sure, the price is exorbitant if you compare it to ringgit, but you shouldn't be doing that right? I don't think I would've minded paying 3 to 4 times the normal amount that I pay in KL, but the quality is lacking. I couldn't really justify the price for the quality if I compare it to the nasi kandar places in KL. The chicken curry was alright, but the rendang was a bit disappointing. The tofu that I had was tasteless.

Really delicious Malaysian food!!! We had the Char Kuei Teow and Nasi Cambur. Shout-out to the fish curry, beef rendang and sambal okra. Quality teh tarik (milk tea) and Kopi C (coffee) too!

this was really really good. we had dinner here, and went with the 3 bowls, fill as many as you want from the buffet (but no refills) option. each dish we got, tasted really good. the dish options served in their buffet was quite a variety too - and i especially loved their Tofu dish. vibe and atmosphere was nice and really "homely", and the staff were really nice, helpful and friendly. i highly recommend this place!

This place is not smack in the middle of the city. This makes it an easier place to find park. I came 5 mins before it open and found a park inferring of the restaurant. Came early as I read reviews food choices and quality are better. They're ate about 20 choices. Ones I tried taste great. Each are distinctive and happy with the freshness. There are choices of ala cart or buffet. The buffet is $16 for lunch and $20 for dinner. This is for one serve only. You may go for unlimited serving for $30 and it includes unlimited drink and 2 pieces of kuah (variousChinese cake). I found a serve of the 3 tingkat is max for me. I would come back again. Yeah, should try the rendang and chicken masak merah. Hope you enjoy the food.

Service was fast even at a busy time, and the line was long but it moves fast. The portions are enormous, especially for noodle and rice dishes, so don’t be surprised if you have leftovers. Delicious CKT, Curry laksa, Mee Goreng, duck confit, roast lamb , fried chicken and Char Koay Teow Fried Flat Rice Noodles and after all that time amazingly consistent quality food. And it’s Halal ! Reasonable price and buffet too. I thought all the flavor was excellent and the menu was easy to order even for someone unfamiliar with Malaysian food.

A cozy restaurant at East Perth serving Malaysian cuisine. Customer service is great. The Nasi Lemak with curry chicken and Nasi Goreng are highly recommended. The horfun with egg sauce is amazing. Most customers like to come to this restaurant for the buffet as the price is reasonable and foods are delicious with authentic Malaysian flavour. Thumb up to the restaurant.

We arrived at their business hour 11.30 . The service and food were great. My husband is from Malaysia and gave it a thumbs up for authenticity. The Hainan chicken rice, choy sum, kaya toast, milk tea, laksa, CKT, roti canai, and nasi lemak were very good. Some of our favorites were sold out. We also ordered beef rendang , chicken curry , laksa/Nasi Lemak/Roti Canai/kopi . Delicious roast lamb, spice tofu, Hokkien Mee fish curry, hor fun noodle, fried chicken and Mee Goreng. Everything was awesome! Will need to come again to try the curry mee and bah kut teh. Wish they served kangkung belacan.

I have never had a dish from this place that wasn't absurdly good. The first week we tried the Nasi Lemak, some rotis , hokkien Mee, Nasi lemak, curry laksa, duck, roast lamb and Mi goreng , Everything was okey. This is hands down my favorite place to order food. I always get the Roti Canai with whatever I order, whether it's their tender Beef rendang and Curry fish or Laksa, or Curry Chicken, or the Hainanese Chicken which is great for leftovers for lunch when it's sat overnight in the sauces. I recommend this place to everyone - consistent, flavorful, fresh, amazing! Always back for more.

Came here for dinner and the atmosphere of this place is great, very relaxing and cozy. But the food is just alright. I had a Teh Tarik for $7 which was definitely made from instant powder. The Nasi Lemak rice and sambal was not too bad but the fried chicken is generic and slightly bland. I got a second helping of sambal and it tasted abit off compared to the first serving. The Nasi Lemak also came with lettuce which was weird. πŸ˜…

Nice little malaysian restaurant in Perth CBD. Price was reasonable and food was great. It might be a bit bland to some but overall the selection was great. Ordered both CKT and Hor Fun. Cendol drink was fabulous and it's one of those drinks that's hard to find anywhere else. Highly recommended if you love brown sugar or Gula melaka.
