Best Thai flavors that we have had in a long while . From the happy staff to the dipping sauce that come out with the dishes that makes you taste buds go crazy . Well we can't go to Thailand so this food is the next best thing . From deep fried squid to the Lab Moo, which is minced pork with shallots, chilli, coriander and lime , wow great mix of flavors. Moo Yang , marinated pork with garlic, pepper and Thai herbs . Served with Thai spicy sauce . And Thai fried rice with big chunks of chicken in it . I dipped the chicken pieces in the spicy sause, absolutely perfect . Place is BYO but they make a great Thai ice tea .

Pass this place every week day to get to work. Been meaning to try it as they have a pretty cheap lunch special and most of my Thai students eat here. Which is a good indication that the food is pretty authentic. Well got to say for $8.50 lunch special this is bang for your buck. Really cannot fault it for the price. This place has to be in contention for cheap eats in Perth!!! Pretty good flavours and is pretty saucy which I do like. Will definitely come back here more often for lunch!! Especially when it is a walking distance from my workplace..

Ordered couple of times now and it's absolutely delicious and very friendly stuff. I travelled couple of years in thailand and kinda miss all the streetfood but this place is a good replacement!

Staff are super friendly. Flavours are authentic and so good. Price is also pretty good. BYO so you can grab a bottle of wine to go with your meal. Very pleasantly surprised and super keen to return and try more dishes. Highly recommend. Great Thai restaurant.

Was recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent food and friendly service. Returning for a birthday soon. Try the spicy tofu, I eat meat but this was the tastiest item on the menu.

Took the family here for a nice meal. Grandchildren were no problem, and loved it. Excellent value for the money.

Nestled right in the heart of Bayswater, Thai Esarn Restaurant delivers a wide range of tasty thai food at its mid-size restaurant. "We are spicy," says its menu leaflet. The atmosphere is lively, and if you get seated at the large glass windows, you have a view of some of the local traffic while dining. Parking space is pretty good as well. It was impressive to see the restaurant advise customers to "Please inform our staff if you are allergic to any type of ingredient." Given the wide variety of food served, it is a helpful advice for those with allergy issues.

Great Thai restaurant if you craving some Thai food in the area. Ordered the Pad Thai, beef salad, satay chicken skewers and crispy prawn rolls with iced milk tea for drinks with a friend and we were impressed by the unique flavours of each dish we tried and friendliness of staff who served us. Restaurant itself has a old school look and feel which reminds you of the streets stalls around Thailand. Overall very good option for people looking for Thai food in Bayswater and surrounding areas, prices are reasonable for the portions served and parking availability is good (during lunch time).

Casual little Thai place with BYO. I'd recommend the fried tofu with Peanut sauce, papaya salad, fried fish fillet with spicy sweet sauce (pla sum sauce) and the pineapple fried rice. So good!

We always get their Chicken Pad See Ewe which is delicious, but tonight we also tried their Pork Oyster Sauce Stir Fry and it was awful - the pork was tough and chewy and the oyster sauce was runny like broth. Didn't enjoy it at all and very unhappy to have paid for something that was so tasteless.

The best Thai food I’ve had in years. This is our local and what a hidden gem it is. The flat rice noodle dishes are all delish and the staff are always so friendly and kind. It’s busy on a Friday night but they always give honest wait times for take out which is brilliant.

Thai Esarn has always been my to-go place if I really want the taste of authentic street Thai food. On my birthday, I went there and ordered about 120$ worth of meals for 2 people. I find the prices are still reasonable as per usual but the quantity are decreased. The staff was friendly. Even when I tried to order the bamboo salad with extra liver, the chef herself came out and suggest I have the liver with some other dishes because she did not trust it would compliment the bamboo salad. So I trusted her. Food was yummy as always. Around 6 pm, they started to have multiple takeaway orders ( good for them!) , yet, our last meal was delivered after quite an extended of time. The Tom Zapp soup was not as delicious as it used to be ;( sad..... When we went to pay, they missed out some of our orders and we could walk away with less money out of the pocket.; however, we are honest people and told them. Overall was pretty darn good... except a small annoyance......They charged me extra for a take away container. I do understand it is commonplace in many restaurant to let customer pay for the container so they don't just ask for it without thinking. ( plus everything costed money for the restaurant). It is not their fault for it is their policy. However, as a restaurant manager, I believe you should make some exception for those big spender. We regular offered complimentary bags and containers for those whose orders are worth to ignore the small fees. unlike those that ask for free container just for an poached egg.
