👍👍 The sailing was a fantastic activity to spend some quality time with my 13 year old grandson during the recent holidays. Andrew and his team went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. I'll certainly be taking my other grandchildren to Funcats for a fun time. Absolute must do in summer. Hire a cat for not that much money. You don’t need to have experience as it’s very easy to sail. You can leave your belongings behind at the desk. I recommend an hour for starters. Wear wet gear but you won’t get particularly wet. A wetsuit is not necessary. Don’t forget sunscreen and sunglasses as you can get burnt with the water reflection.

Funcats is a Super exciting way to enjoy Perths Foreshore. Whether it's sailing one of their Hobie catamarans, or jumping on a Paddleboard heading downriver, you'll be sure make some great memories. Andrew and his staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable. They are glad to give you a hand when you need it. Always a pleasure, looking forward to my next sail!

My sisters and I kayak with Funcats often. Lovely, friendly team and well maintained equipment. Note: the type of kayaks they have mean you will get wet (and if you're like me, that is, grossly uncoordinated, you will definitely get wet). Bring a towel and a change of clothes if you want to do something after, there are public bathrooms nearby. The team look after bags and shoes while you're on the water. Excellent, mindful experience.

Had a bunch (7) of family 10 - 17years of age who had NEVER tried this (together with two parents with very limited experience)! They were given such great instruction that 2 hours later the kids were all wanting to know when they could do it again! The BEST fun activity for teens! Thank you!

I’ve rented Hobbie cats here with my kids a few times and have had a fantastic time on each occasion. The staff are very friendly and really helpful. The boats are simple to sail, but at the same time lots of fun when the breeze comes up in the afternoon. Highly recommend it!!

My husband and I had a lovely morning of kayaking in the double kayak, with fantastic views of Perth city. The water was calm and easy to navigate. The owner was so friendly, he went above and beyond to make it a comfortable journey for us and was lovely to chat to. If we lived in Perth we’d be regulars for sure!! Highly recommend!!

Thanks Funcat! This was a first on a mini catamaran for the both of us. We had a great time. Beautiful views from and on the water. Andrew is a very thorough and responsible operator. He clearly showed us how to (basic) sail, and demonstrated to us, prior to leaving the foreshore. Use your ears & head to listen & learn; you’ll have a relaxing time. We will definitely be back and I can imagine what a great team building/outing idea this would be!!

I tried kayaking yesterday for the first time, I really enjoyed it, staff member explained everything very nicely due to which I didn’t face any issues while I was in water. Very supportive staff members, will definitely use their service again and then again and again😊.

Was an adventure of a lifetime! Hired kayaks with my friends. Definitely worth it hiring with them, easy booking and service, very beginner friendly and Rob looked after us. He gave us very clear instructions, rules and advice. The water conditions became pretty choppy on the way back, it was an actual struggle to paddle back to shore, he came out to check on us on their dinghy, ended up rescuing us, giving us a ride back and our kayaks to shore! 10/10 would recommend!

An absolutely great place to go for a fun afternoon of sailing. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and so long as you plan ahead for the weather you have a great big piece of water to muck about in and have fun.

Really good experience overall. Easy online bookings but winds on the day were pretty strong so Andrew very kindly allowed us to swap from SUP to kayaks without any fuss. Will be back again to try out the Catamarans which looked fun.

Andrew, Kate and Kayla provided exceptional service- showing us how to sail on gear that is very well cared for. They even waited for us past closing to allow us to enjoy the sunset! Thanks for a fun afternoon!

Just purchased a new SUP board through these guys. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Andrew went through the ins and outs of the board with me and was a pleasure to deal with. I have also hired a SUP board from them before, they have quality gear for hire and I had a great time. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to using my new board! Thanks so much guys!

My boyfriend and i had a wonderful time. We haven't experienced using a catamaran before but we got a quick lesson and off we went. It was an exciting opportunity to spend the afternoon sailing. But new time we will need more time as we were habing such fun.
