FAMILIES BEWARE - Brought my daughter to the playground and saw a large dog make a beeline sprint from across the field towards her. As it got closer I quickly picked her up and the dog then slowed down and retreated away. I know a lot of dog owners use the area in the open field and families use the playground so please be extra careful when you've got your little ones with you. The playground is around 250-300m away from the open field so the dog made an effort to run away from its owner towards my 2 year old and it was in an aggressive posture which caught my attention. The dog pulled away once it saw me confront it. The owner from across the field did not even know his dog was gone and on his mobile.

Excellent walking paths, beautiful lake, with lovely bushland, well maintained lawn, plenty of water birds.

Great Walk, prefect distance for a walk around and home. For specific reasons the lake path around is about 2.5Km so get your 5Km a day and do two laps. Also great place to take photos.

Nice lake and bush reserve. There is a walkway through the actually lake, above water, which I really like. Very good running tracks. A lot of dogs and mozzie.

Quite popular for exercising dogs. Usually plenty of water birds, including the occasional Swan.

An excellent place for walking and exercising. Nearly four KM tracks around the lake offer an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery and see birds like duck, Ibis, Swans, Magpie, Wrens, Wagtail, Ravan, Cockatoo and a number of other species. Dogs are permitted and therefore a favourite place for dog owners.
