5 to 10 years ago this organisation was like no other. The most amazing and empathetic team I've ever known. Sadly the legacy has been destroyed by egos and insincerity. The management and board have turned the Western Australian Aids Council into the most disengenuous service I've ever had the misfortune of being associated with. Gut wrenching.

I’ve got a major operation on hold been waiting 7 years , and I’m getting Centrelink payments this place is meant to have funds to help there clients out, I’ve had half a dozen times serious no one calls back or try’s to rectify your problem. :(

The counselling session went really well. The staff is very supportive and it felt great to talk about HIV to someone apart from my partner, family, or friends. I was very hesitant at first but I don't regret it at all. Don't be afraid, they're here for you!

Brilliant front counter service non judgemental a bright change from the rest of society.

not a service focused organisation .. staff turnover number mite be reason. 2 political. Lots of other great LGBT service providers out there. Sounds like you wouldn't want to work with them either.

A fantastic service offered by WAAC, and a place full of dedicated staff. I have been doing volunteer work here for a while now and love the feeling of helping out and also being part of the team.
