Hi there. It’s okay to have 20% surcharge on public holiday but could you please make sure that every coffee is up to standard despite the long queue and dockets? Literally saw the barista just filled the cup with hot water when the milk wasn’t enough. Went today and ordered mocha & hot chocolate they both just taste like water I guess the barista just forgot to add the chocolate in? And the response from the barista after we mentioned about the bad coffee was not professional as well :)

Great coffee, delish breakfast, good service and nice ambient with arch windows overlooking maple tree lined Mends Street. Great place to have bite and a stroll at the South Perth foreshore. Parking free first hour on street, otherwise ample paid parking nearby.

This lovely little treasure south of the river is just another jewel within my crown of reasoning for South Perth to be the best! This cafe, has all a cafe should have. Creative decor, a spacious multi option seating area, diverse menu, and damn good coffee with the option of an XL. As am American I am a big fan of finding somewhere to get a take away coffee the size of my head. :) Kidding not kidding. We had food, it was average in deliciousness as the majority of Perth cafes have high standards. It’s vey city prices, so bit cheap. But my coffee I was deeply satisfied with. There were magazines to read, and greenery about. Water stations to serve yourself. Loved it here, truly. Will def be back. But prob just for another deeply refreshing roast. :)

Great coffee shop and restaurant. Food and coffee is amazing. Friendly staff. Nice set up. Location is perfect. Breezy on the main road overseeing the south river and si close to the ferry and Perth Zoo.

I wouldn't recommend this place for coffee's, as I had a large coffee today for $6.40 which I think it didn't worth it. I believe to protect the community interest, there should be a pricing control in place for unfair pricing's.

Pretty good place to sit and eat. Waitresses were friendly and quick. Food came out within 10mins of ordering but was a bit cold. (Ordered potato rosti). Still tasted good. I definitely recommend it so give it a go and see for yourself.

Great location as just at downstairs of the hotel. Clean, bright environment and friendly staff. We had omelet and avocado bruschetta are perfectly presented and definitely enjoyed the dishes. Not to mention the quality of the coffee, spot on!

Somehow I always end up coming back to this place. Whether it's because it's one of the few decent coffee joints in Mends Street, or I like the brew and feed here, I really can't make up my mind. Maybe the location is pretty good cos it's next to my favourite pub, the Windsor? Also, me mum loves coming here, so there's that. Whatever it is, I've always liked coming over here for the decent coffee, pastry and food with fresh ingredients. This is the place to go for good conversations. Plus, somebody put a cheeky smiley face on my piccolo and consequently, put a smile on my face :)

This morning for breakfast, busy South Perth Cafe/Coffee destination on Mends Street. Very good coffee by expert Barista, a lil hot for me though. I had poached eggs on yummy multigrain toast. Quick service by very capable Staff at the tables & at the counter. Yummy selection of ready made food, cakes, etc. Nice lot of sun streams in there first thing in the morning. If you want to be with the in-crowd in South Perth, go there...

Stopped by to get takeaway after walking dog....lacking customer service ...coffee overfilled spilling down side of cup on way back to car...lucky I only had dog walking clothes on. Breakfast burger..part wrapped in paper not even box...dressing very watery so paper soaked ...burger slimy and wet...little filling not enjoyable $23!!! Note on quite a few reviews mention rude uninterested staff ..too true and poor quality food and coffee...price a rip off.

Absolutely amazing breakfast. So good we came a second day in a row. The service was quick and the staff were so accommodating. Definitely my number one place in South Perth for breakfast.

Very nice place, always busy. Large menu to choose from, only issue was that the pancakes I and my partner got were very doughy/ undercooked. That's all I can say though, everything else looked delicious!

Menu is fantastic and so many different options. Visited for Sunday breakfast. Service staff were so lovely and kept the busy restaurant on track. Food was so delicious, tasty and fresh - also very quick!! Definitely recommend and I'll be back to try the lunch menu next.

Flat white and cappuccino was subpar... Too milky and no coffee taste. But I think it's a Perth thing. Almost all the coffee tasted the same.

If you looking for a loaf of sour dough bread to break your teeth with some unseasoned tomato end and what almost look like cheese and called a toasted sandwich this is the place for you…. Not so angry as disappointed… gave a star for the coffee.

It's not on the menu, but if you're lucky and they have the pulled pork burger special on, don't think twice to get it! The Thai beef salad is also a winner🏆 top it all off with a vanilla slice 🍰 sooo good!

This morning I went to Atomic to get two take away muffins . They looked absolutely delicious, crunchy on top with fruit and custard toppings. The waitress told me to go and wait by the take away window while she would pack them. When she placed them in front of me and I very carefully picked up the bags, I realised that the muffins had been reheated -to me: a crime! especially that I had not been asked if I wanted them reheated in a microwave, which destroys the texture of the muffin- and they were lying on the side so that the custard -now hot and very runny- was spilling in the container and the fruits were scattered at the bottom. It did not start my day very well. Why offer such beautiful cakes and treat them as if they were rubbish, and not consider the client's preferences assuming that they want what the waitress has decided.

What's not to love about this place. Ten out of ten for food, coffee and staff. Best cappuccino I have had in a long time and the apple cake with ice cream was divine.
