Great little restaurant! We’re a couple of Indonesian & UK heritage so this place is perfect. Babi Guling for my wife & bacon & egg for me!!! We both get a great dish that we love here. Great food, plenty of room, quick service, on site parking and a super friendly Balinese owner. He told me it gets busy for brekky on Saturday, less so on Sunday but even then no long waits ever. Definitely worth a visit…& much better the the jaunt to Vic Park for Indo food if you’re in the Northern suburbs.

Nice little Cafe in the middle of the Industrial area in Wangara. Really good Indonesian dishes and drinks and other different foods. Good service too. Took me back to Bali!! Thoroughly enjoyed my babi guling dish. I love the soup that had a hint of sour and spice to it and the beans salad was very refreshing. The satay dish was a delight too! The only downside is if you have a baby like I do you will need to head into the car for a nappy change as there is no facilities for a nappy change but they do supply hair chairs for kids. I will return again!!

ABSOLUTELY DEVINE!!! We had the traditional indo meals (beef rendang and chicken satay) and i can not fault. it felt like we were back in bali and the staff are beautiful, welcoming, well spoken, happy and willing to help too. All in all, i will be back as often as possible.

Last time I ate at the Haystack, they were in Lansdale Farm. That was a couple of years ago. But I'm pleased to say, nothing has changed. Super friendly staff when I walked in. Chilled atmosphere, calming music. I felt relaxed. Ordered and sat outside. Within minutes my coffee arrived. Admittedly they were not busy. Minutes later my Eggs Benedict with Avocado arrived. Great serve, shouldn't of eaten it all, but it was so good. And I had a walk back to Prindiville Dr to pick up my car. Definitely be making the detour to the Haystack again.... Cheers guys...

Awesome little place. Really clean feeling and tidy and well presented, considering it could be mistaken for a lunch bar on a quick drive by. But really so happy to have stopped here, the drinks were lovely and the food was amazing! I was full, but finished the plate because the flavour was perfect. (Bali Satay) We took our dog there and they brought out water for him too, very thoughtful and kind! Thanks :)

It amazes me that a small cafe in an industrial area cooks the best breakfast I have ever eaten. Would highly recommend any of the breakfast options, but specifically the eggs Benedict and Italian style eggs on toast. Michelin star restaurant quality!

Good food! The atmosphere is excellent and they daily rotate the menu specials which are terrific! Definetly recommend

Tucked away amongst the car dealerships in Wangara, this cafe serves up delicious Indonesian food. Highly recommended

It’s located in industrial area however worth to try! Enjoyed Nasigoreng and something with beef( don’t remember the name) both were really great! Venue is not fancy but clean.

Nice ambience, our food was served superbly quick, decent portion, and amazing flavour. We ordered the Nasi Goreng and Babi Guling.

Went for lunch today and ordered the Nasi Goreng. Really tasty, a decent size and the service was nice and prompt. A nice clean cafe, well presented and polite friendly staff. What's not to love. I'll be back for sure.

Had a nice lunch here at Haystack. The Nasi Goreng was really tasty, little on the smaller side, so not the best for tradies, but still good. Clean and tidy, little confusing because it is actually a Balinese Cafe, to me the name doesn't suit it. The girl that served us did her job, but didn't really go out of her way to make us feel welcome either, which could be improved.

Really good Indonesian food and generous portion. Love it that it’s available even in the early morning. The children’s corner is great for the kids.

Great spot for all breakfast and lunch favourites. Delicious limited special Babi Guling/ Balinese style slow roasted Pork. Great coffee and fast service too! Highly recommend this.

Went here on a friend's recommendation. Wasn't disappointed! Amazing food. Coffee was great too. Quite a popular little place. Down to earth genuine home made tasting kinda food. A real gem!
