Arrived at 2.50 for my 3 pm appointment and was eventually taken in for colonoscopy at 6.30. No one kept me updated or apologized until I complained and then just said “ we’re really busy” . So did you overbook? Or understaff? It’s not like patients can walk in unexpectedly. And why not call me at say 2pm and tell me to stay at home until 6? Clearly you place a higher value on your time than you do on mine. Won’t be back.

I arrived at 12pm for my colonoscopy procedure appointment. I waited 1 hour in the waiting room after being more than 30 hours without any food. Just after my complained they put me in a bed where I had to wait more than another hour. I called them before the appointment and they could definitely mention at that time that they were running behind the schedule. I wouldn’t go back.

Yesterday I was booked for my Colonoscopy, after not eating for 2 days and taking the required steps to clean the bowel I was prepared for the Procedure which was booked for 3pm. There was to be no fluids consumed 2 hours before, all good. Arrived at 3pm only to have to wait until 6.30 pm to be admitted. there was no information offered as to why except they are busy out there and here I am no fluids for 5 and a half hours. Finally the procedure was over and after recovery I was was offered a cup of tea and some miserable dry biscuits in packets. I will never go there again or recommend this place.

I am a health professional myself and I feel taken care of with the shortest wait time compared to other gastroenterologists from private hospitals in Perth. My doctor is doctor Gan. Very efficient and so thorough with patient care all the way! I am a y generation and I’m able to call up anytime post-op for any questions...so wonderful!!!!! 5 stars! Will be good if can put more nursing staff on... for a slower pace environment for helping nerves of patients with underlying GI (often associated mental health issues)

A health professional did warn me against the GI Clinic. Efficiency is priority resulting in a total patient clinician disconnect. Every health professional at the GI Clinic has their very own specific spiel like a robot, and in some cases it bordered on rude. The very first thing you’ll be required to do is pay the account where you’ll be issues with an invoice that’s not even valid by ATO standards. I saw the specialist all of a few minutes before and after inclusive. It certainly didn't meet my expectations regarding patient care.

I got in 8 weeks earlier here than other places I called. I felt like the entire process went very smoothly and I was kept informed at all stages. The staff were friendly and professional and the team went beyond to help with some paperwork issues I had. My report was ready before I left. I would go here again without hesitancy. Yes it was cold but they tell you to dress appropriately. Yes it took time but they tell you to plan for up to 4-6 hours there. Bring a book.

I work at a medical centre and called GI Clinic today to query about getting a 80 plus patient in to see the doctor and the receptionist was absolutely so rude & obnoxious, spoke over me, was not even listening to my one and only question I had, continued to raise her voice at me and was so patronising. I am gobsmacked you still have a job, you shouldnt be working in an environment that requires, care, compassion, understanding, patience not to mention much more. Shame on you, you need to retire or get sacked!

Staff were polite and answered questions from reception, admitting nurse, theatre nurses, aesthetic Dr and Dr Abrugiato. Efficient and effective service. Dr explained results after procedure. Happy with process process process.

I was ringing around to get prices and information and I spoke to the receptionist here twice. The first time she was really rude and abrupt, giving me little info. I rang the next day, hoping to get someone else and I got the same lady. She told me should couldn't give me the doctors provider number for me to tell my insurance fund and was equally as rude as the day before. Based on her horrid manners and refusal to help a new customer, I would never go here or recommend it. I found a much better service at Hollywood Hospital.

I had an endoscopy here today. A new experience, I was a little apprehensive. However, the staff were wonderful, efficient, helpful, caring, and kind. My sincere thanks to you all. I have no hesitation in recommending GI Clinic at Myaree.
