For
the
airplane
and
flight
enthusiast
Robert
J
Cross
Park,
located
at
Jandakot
airport,
is
an
excellent
point
to
watch
the
many
and
various
aircraft
landing
and
taking
off.
The
park
is
well
grassed
and
has
some
trees
and
several
gazebos
with
table
and
seating
giving
shade
to
the
viewer.
The
park
is
virtually
right
below
the
flight
control
tower
and
only
50
to
150
metres
or
so
from
the
hangers,
taxi
ways
and
runways.
Jandakot
Airport
is
one
of,
if
not
the
busiest
airport
in
the
southern
hemisphere.
It's
home
to
the
Royal
Aero
Club,
the
Royal
Flying
Doctor
Service
and
many
companies
to
access
"Joy
Flights"
on
Tiger
Moth
biplanes
and
helicopters
among
many
other
companies
involved
in
the
business
of
aircraft
and
flight.
