Lake Claremont is located within a reserve which covers an area of 70ha, with approximately 16ha of open water. The catchment area of Lake Claremont is dominated by residential areas and large recreational facilities, including several sports fields, a public golf course and a public swimming pool. The water quality of Lake Claremont is strongly affected by the activities occurring throughout its catchment area. The Lake is a surface expression of the superficial aquifer, with groundwater entering the Lake on the north-eastern side, flowing through the Lake and exiting on the south-western side.

Well having a lived experience of the transformation from golf course to an awesome park I am eternally grateful for the natural rewards this park offers. Paper bark, gum & many more tree varieties surround this body of water & the bird varieties are endless. Friendly dog walkers, joggers, children & much more frequent this public well-kept space. If you wish to unwind, get some fresh air and or exercise this is a wonderful place to be....enjoy.

A beautiful swamp with a walking trail. The are has a great wildlife sanctuary including black swans and ducks. In summertime the lake is dried up but I love the view of the grass swaying with the breeze with birds flying above.

Peaceful oasis in the middle of Perth. Great for twitters, walking and kids with playgrounds, sealed walk trails and you struggle to hear any traffic noise

Serene lake where the busy Eldorado breeding season is about to start. Many walk tracks through forest as well as parkland and features a small golf course.
