I went for the first time the other week and was very disappointed with the service on the bar, not only did the bar seem understaffed but when I asked whether they had any vegan white wines the bartender replied that they are all vegan only for his co worker to tell him that they are not and that they both didn’t know if they had any vegan ones. When I asked whether they could find out they seemed slightly annoyed telling me they would have to check every single bottle and it would take a long time.. I decided to get a different drink as I felt like being a big inconvenience. It’s a beautiful venue with great views but considering the prices and location I was expecting better service. With the vegan community growing it would be an idea to label vegan wines as vegan on the menu or have at least one bar staff know what wines are vegan. Hope this feedback helps

Excellent service. I was there this afternoon. Needed a coffee to keep life going. I went to the bar and asked if they do coffee? One of the bartender said they don’t do coffee. 5 mins after another bartender came to my table and asked me if I would like to have coffee? He said he can go to other floor and make coffee for me. I said yes! He even asked what kind of coffee, how much sugar and what size. After he gave me coffee. I asked him how do I pay? He said it’s ok. Wow! This is what we called hospitality!!! Nowadays in this industry not many people can provide service anymore. To the bartender, sorry didn’t ask your name. You did an excellent job. And that’s a great service with extra miles. Thank you for your work! And I hope this industry can have more people like you!

Good for drinks and view. Seafood platter feels like too dry for fish. The sauce option not really my favorite. The dessert just so so. But i love the fries.

Beautiful views, good and attentive staff. Outside is a bit cramped but overall not a bad place for a drink. I didn't check out the food but it doesn't look bad. City and waterfront hotel prices. The bar is also open to the general public not staying in the hotel

Friendly staff and great view! Drinks are fairly priced for the location and quality and 8 beers on tap is quite impressive. Special commendation to Abbey, who served us impeccably!

Really good service and excellent cocktails. Their Bloody Mary kept me alive after a big weekend with friends over from Melbourne. The venue itself is a little sterile, but the view is worth it.

You can't beat the views at 18 Knotts Rooftop, Nice classy vibe which makes the drinks go down all too easy! 360° views of Perth, 270-300° of this is outside on the deck areas. Didn't stay for food but from what we saw it looked the goods

One of the best views of swan river and Perth. A must see. Double tree hotel rooftop bar. All welcome. Drinks and food available. Inside and outdoor seating.

Great location BUT, bar service unbelievably slow, I think everyone on Saturday night was a Newby with no training, no urgency, no smile , lots of people waiting. Let's try some food my wife said, mixed grille platter, looked good but there was no taste in anything on the plate and the potatoes were underdone. Food came promptly but delivered by a guy who didn't make it at the bar job, there were similarities, slow, no emotion, no " enjoy your meal", " have you finished?", Can I take you plates. He just assumed we were finished and took them. We had finished but it's nice to be asked. We left to look for somewhere else to have desert.

The most amazing 360 degrees view of Perth city and the Swan River. Very good food, lovely professional service and a good choice of beverages - unless you want coffee as unbelievably they don't have a coffee machine. A good mix of high tables and couches. Weekday $20 lunches which include a beverage are great value.

I visited on 10. September 2022 in the evening and I was impressed with location of the restaurant, spot for drop off and pick up, wheelchair access ramp and quick travel up by lift. The vibe I felt upon entry was welcoming and friendly, I almost felt like I was in local pub. Order and pay for your own drinks and meals at the bar and take it with you. No fuss. Friendly staff was taking away empty dishes as soon we finished eating or drinking. With my friends, I enjoyed to the fullest the magnificent view over my beloved City during the sunset and at night. So, I took lots of pictures. Seeing empty dishes of my friends, I suspect that food was delicious as well (perhaps some additional spices were not up to the taste and were left behind). Unfortunately, due to my disability I was not able to sit comfortably on the sofa with my friends, so I didn't order food (I should've come with my gopher). Because of my disability I was allowed to use bar chair, and sit next to my friends and in good atmosphere I said that I feel like 70s comedian Dave Allen (unfortunately I didn't have any jokes to tell 😃). My Eagle Eye from such high up position noticed food and drinks at other tables looked the same as on the pictures on Facebook or from other reviewers, so everything was as expected and advertised (and empty in the end 😃). Live music was good and loud enough to be heard and quiet enough for young couples romancing, as this is wonderful place for it. Weather was perfect, and little bit to cold for me to sit outside, but no hospitality venue or it's management can be held responsible for that. I recommend this place and I am looking forward to visit again with the same or some other friends perhaps.

It's great views of the river and the general area. Definitely worth a visit for the location. The bar staff are terribly slow and it's very painful to line up for 10m+ for a drink. They not only need more staff but they need better training.

Nice view, it’s romantic vibe for date. But foods and drinks… are pretty normal. I expect too much 😂

Open to the public not only people staying at the hotel. Great views of all of Perth. Seating available inside and outside, although ladies please note if you have a short dress/skirt and it’s a windy day, I highly recommend you hold on tight or you will give the people inside a real show 🤣 Seating inside was good, however some parts the music is on so loud you can’t even hear the people sitting next to you and we saw a number of people moving away for this exact reason. Didn’t eat here although the food did look good. Very limited options for mocktails and an outrageous price of $17 for what’s essentially a juice…. Near by bars selling the equivalent for $9-$12 Over all though Lovely views of Perth

Came for the views, left to find decent food and drink. 18 knots has spectacular views of the city but the food and drink leaves a lot to be desired. It is also extortionately priced. The draft beers were out of service when we arrived so after 30 minutes we left to go to The Island instead. Overall 3/5 - worth a short visit for a picture

Good views and open in the afternoons but often windy. View south is good, however not as good as Kings Park in my book. View east unimpeded. Skip unless staying local and short of time.

Cool rooftop bar 🍸 but we visited on Friday and it was packed. Hence slow service.

Great location with a spectacular view. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Food was very enjoyable, namely the pork belly skewers. The beef skewers were a tad bit cold, otherwise enjoyable. A bit pricey but you are paying for the view/location. Highly recommend.

Top class bar with a beautiful view! Highly recommend sunset cocktails but be ready for it to be a little windy out on the balcony! 🍸🍹🌅

Beautiful location and a great hangout spot for after work drinks or on the weekend. Excellent views. Bar service during peak was slow. There was a queue at the foyer when we left.

Really beautiful spot for drinks & food. I am pregnant so had a margarita mocktail which was delicious. My friend had a normal margarita which she also enjoyed and we shared the bread with dips. Will most definitely return.

The River and City views are Amazingly beautiful. Limited outside setting and tight decking area. The Bar service was ok, not much product knowledge.. it's not a Cocktail lounge, just a standard bar with expensive drinks. The outward view is the drawcard here as inside we saw used glasses, sticky tables and unclean facilities and the gas fireplace opposite the elevator might need servicing ? as the whole place smelt like rotten eggs. I would return for a drink in future but only because of the view.

Stunning – location, vibe, drinks and food. This is the place to be in Perth! Amazing 360 degree views over the city, Swan, south – and with seating inside, outside, in sun, out of sun – no better place for afternoon, sunset, evening. I loved watching the boats racing in the afternoon breeze. My friend Nicki invited a group from work and we were all impressed! Drinks are well priced (amazing given the location), service is warm and friendly and a good range of great tasting food (including snacks). Level 18 of the Doubletree Perth Waterfront (on Barrack Square).

Beautiful place! Thoroughly enjoyed our time here, just gorgeous. Customer service was also fabulous. The staff were doing an incredible job given our current circumstances, 10/10 customer service. We met Abbey who was so helpful with drink recommendations (as I'm always conflicted what to order,) with her outgoing cheerful spirit, as well as all the other staff. Great job all! We have definitely added this to our list of go to places for a nice evening out. Loved it, thank you! See you again soon :-)
